Eh no, the point is you dont ever take dmg in your CV vs other CVs. And if he does 10k to you and you 15k to him who cares? No CVs is getting killed anyways -

Allright, but enemy HE spamming cruisers can do that to you aswell right? -

Yes ok, im with you on the total number of teoretical planes, but the thing is, they died back then. Not AFTER they striked. There was a time i hoped i would meet TX CVs in the kutuzov, when manual AA actually was something, and it was as good an aa cruiser as DM. (Before the kind of annoying IFHE thing which now is mandatory) -

Why should you make it easier? When was DD play made easier last 5 years? On the influence i agree, but what can you do, some suck, some dont. And btw, i have NEVER seen any CV been unable launch planes, but i certanly did back in the good old days -

Well, DDs have to micro, detection, position of radars, radar cooldowns, smoke cooldown, what enemy dd was spotted where, etc etc. But you fly around and shoot at whatever you please. I hope you would have to [edited]micromange fuel usage -

And another thing i kind of miss, is the "Oh here comes the strike, can i survive this?" Help me CV! If i survived, it was COSTLY for the enemy CV, and he couldnt strike again 30 sec later -

How do you increase you chanses by doing that when the enemy CV does the same? I saw you reacted "boring" to my post, you guess i hate cvs right? No i dont, i actually started playing them, even bought the premium saipan before my long break. And i got unicum stats in CVs. But this new braindead gameplay should just be re-reworked back to what it was. It was actually fun to play CVs, how can i get a strike in, should i defend my striking force or teammates? You had to think, now you dont, you just spam planes. -

I dont get why they just cant re-implement limited number of aircraft. So you can actually deplane a CV. But then, they will whine about not being able to do anything, well learn to conserve your aircraft then, not like in my game 5 mins ago where the T8 CV charges forward with rocket planes first min of the game, cant find our DD, so he chunks of 5-6k from our T9 AA cruiser instead with no penalties whatsoever. Plays like that should make you deplaned, EDIT -
premiums in need of a rework or buff ?
WarburtonLee replied to booimbuu's topic in General Discussion
I agree, when i bought it it was the best t7 DD by far, havent touched it since, hmm 2 years? Its like i said in another thread, many ships were balanced around mechanics thats no longer in the game, and didnt get buffs afterwards to compensate -
I think CE is very important for all ships, so important infact, that WG should just remove the skill. Ofcourse its more important in a DD but still. The whole skill tree should have had a rework, some ships cant get enough skills, like Gearing, Grozovoi etc, while ships like Zao, doesnt really need anything after 10 points. Ofcourse it helps, but not nearly as much as it does in a Gearing

Well it kind of proves my point, you win 70%, but with MM "fixing", it will be 50. And you wont like that :) I remember one time i was in 3xttt div + 3x om div and one omni guy on our side. Chat was like, this will be over quite soon. Well, yes it was, but we were not the guys winning haha :P

I got the complete opposite experience. When i division, theres rarely defeats, and it was so years ago aswell when i played in ttt, we didnt often get defeats in randoms. For example, i suck in BBs wanting to improve, but trying to play solo result in me getting braindead DDs, so game ends instantly.

The mind-set of the 40-percenter
WarburtonLee replied to HMS_Kilinowski's topic in General Discussion
Same as you but in wows, i sailed around being an utter idiot until someone mentioned my winrate. Guess thats what triggered me, i didnt even know winrate existed, so thats when i went to youtube and searched for some wows tips. I started playing WOT after wows, but its a whole different game, map knowledge is everything. But since ive already watched some youtube videos i wasnt that bad for a noob, and im around 53% wins there. Still play it from time to time -
Totally get the frustration, but as a good player i think you wouldnt want changes to MM if you think about it. I for one, will quit instantly if that happens, why play this game if you will win 50% no matter what and cant feast on lesser skilled players? It removes any reason to improve instantly. But yea, had alot of mongoloids today aswell, but on enemy team, resulting in two 15-1 victories before 8 mins have passed etc

Funny and sad game situations shown with map screenshots.

Jesus just had another one wtf. Please remove the points system WG @Crysantos, as it happens again and again, when you can finally get some dmg, game ends due to "points" All 3 of the remaining BBs was at my cap, ready to be farmed -

Sry i dont have any map-screenshots, but this was special: When your team wins 15-1, its not often that you can get a good game, but this was an exeption. But that Black on enemy team who ended up 2nd, was the 2nd guy to die on enemy team, after getting torped by me. He did, as far as i know, no dmg to anyone except maybe 1.5k to me, when i went the same cap as me , radared so he thought he could smoke shoot me, but i was already [edited]-in and went out of radar range after 1-2 salvos from him. Then i torped him and went on to wreck the enemy force on my side. But how the F did he got 2nd place, how bad must the rest have been. Hilarious -

Tips, hints on how to improve as a DD player
WarburtonLee replied to Molly_Delaney's topic in General Discussion
I also use my guns, dont mistake me please, i know how to play the ship. But its not like it was before, thats all im saying. It was balanced around no radars, stealth fire, no hydro, no smoke firing penalty, and it was decent then, not overpowered. What did it get in return? -

WarburtonLee replied to Molly_Delaney's topic in General Discussion
Actually i disagree, they are still the best at winning the games, if one knows how to play them. Problem is you dont do much, but spotting capping smoking etc. Just not as fun anymore. Ill take a Gearing over any other TX DD any day, if my goal is to win, and i will likely do so, and go back to porth having don sub-50k dmg... Not fun at all anymore, but still the best -
Exactly what happened, when those morons arrived, i turned to the other side and won the game for us actually :)

Tips, hints on how to improve as a DD player
WarburtonLee replied to Molly_Delaney's topic in General Discussion
I wouldnt even compare low tier DD gameplay with higher tier anymore., When i first got the Gearing years ago, my guns was blazing all the time, well try that now... Now i dont even use a single skill to improve guns, only Survivability and torp reload. DD gameplay have changed to being able to survive while being useful, from being the utter terror that could wreck enemy teams. Its still my favorite class, but now i only try to outsmart enemy DDs, spot, cap. Not as fun as it used to be when i was primarely a dmg dealer. When was the last time anyone took on a BB in a Gearing with guns and won? (The Gearing is a counter to BBs btw, or atleast i was told so years ago.) Now, you fight enemy DDs, then if you are lucky and get them, radars are dead etc, you can start getting your dmg on big ships. Except you just won on points by then, so gg. (Therefore, remove points please, its always the same story, when you can finally begin to obliterate stuff, game ends) -
Yes, was playing Gearing today, 4 DDs each side and i spawn on a flank. Naturally i went for the cap where i spawned, but what did my teams 3x DD div do? They went over to my side, giving enemies 2 free caps. Braindeads again :)
