and spotter planes / cv planes insta spot dd torps when launched when their close. should we remove those as well ?

in normal games it is a big issue tho. a good cv vs a bad one is a big dissadvantage for ur team. And the reason cv's do not focus ships in competitive is because its a waste of time with the AA heavy ships like kutuzov and north carolina. combined with the cv needing to spot torps at smokes as well the rewards are just too small. Still they will drop whever they can tho. But this does not apply in randoms ppl are all over the map and a zoned out ship is all too common. That said i do not beleave cvs should be removed tho they are just part of the game.

all the dds ive seen that happend to where parked nose in towards an island. and they decided to sit still HOping the bad man will go away. thats not a radar issue its the person.

this is a high factor as well now. ijn torp boats are a bit annoying to play right now. gunboats bring more to the table on contesting caps. the US dd and german line are good in that. and at tier 7 you torps become usefull as well.

altho you cant always trust the stats of a ship. the colorado is probably a downgrade this time :P especialy with the ifhe it will get deleted fast.

radar spotting can be annoying. but all in all its fine. know the ships range and stay out its not hard. ofc there are times they sneak up. but if u get caught with ur pants down if u know theres a radar ship and u have not spotted it yet its still on you to fix that.

had some really bad games today. bad players in turn caused me to play crap as well was quite happy with at least a good ending

basicly the US DD line are the noob friendliest as far as i know. on the higher tiers the torps get better as well. and the smoke lasts a long time. the german dd lets u play a bit more aggresively tho with hydro. the Ijn dd line is pretty mutch obsolete these days. u need to go full yolo to get some good torps off.

lol ye torps are nice. as a zao you should not focus to use them annyway as u are a sniper mostly not a brawler. but when u can use them they hit like a truck.i remember deleting a full hp montana with them stupid enough to charge around the corner.

No NO NO its not the cruisers who are dead. *edited* Oh w8 never mind we where talking about cruisers. But cruisers are not out of the game. their still pretty good. its just an annoying fact u need eyes in the back of your head with the BB players these days. the annoying thing is the range on certain cruisers tho. i find myself chasing bbs running away more often then not just to get that little damage.

ofc the player makes it work. But tripple dd divisions or tripple bb or cruiser divisions are all just as bad. as u will still be dependent on the other classes in the game if u div up like that.

bbs sniping in spawn are also a stupid mechanic. and a free damage farming method. for the ships in question its both a combination of things. the kutuzov has the range the smoke and the AA and dpm. the belfast has everything to hunt dds. radar sonar smoke and concealment

sure their hard to citadel(as u can citadel them). but they cant sail broadside tho. you can still do 10k+ volleys on them with ease even 20k+ volleys are not uncommon. meanwhile removing strafing would just give torp and bomber planes free reign.
