For entertainment alone it has to be the Atlanta, every game in her leaves me with an ear to ear grin. NO armour at all, horrible range and rainbow arcs but damn she is a blast !

i just played 9 games and all were losses. I played a variety of tier 10 cruisers as they are my favourite class and i like the ships. I tried in each game to cap or support capping ships and as much as possible support my team. My personal scores were ok but not great. My teams however were amazing in their ineptitude. BB's running away from start or instantly going into reverse. DD's who refuse to cap or try to cap but die through no support. CA's who either stay at max range and achieve nothing or yolo and die. I quit the game and i am gonna go watch a movie instead. I am not gonna cry about this sort of thing, thats what this game is like now and my days of getting annoyed are over, my question is this. How can we as a community improve teamwork and player performance ?

Well i am gonna give it another go today. I am not overly concerned with win rate or any stats at all although i do keep an eye on them to help me improve my own performance. I am far more intersted in having a fun game and enjoying myself, unfortunately the potatoes with thier idiocy do tend to spoil things. Oh well,,,,,,onwards and upwards. Gonna try out my newly purchased De Grasse, should be fun !

2 days now and not a single win. In most games i get an excellent personal score, last game in Des Moines - 17 citadel hits, a double strike and 3 ships sunk, 160k damage and as usual my team were ALL potatoes,,,,what the hell is going on ?

I am now on my knee's begging,,,,PLEASE WG, do something, anything to stop the BB campers. I just had 6 straight losses all due to camping BB on my team. All sat at the spawn hardly moving and sniping from long range. No help to team, No help to cap, No use whatsoever, but they all end with great personal scores of course ! For the love of god,,,DO SOMETHING !!!!!!

This game has been out for long enough now that even poor players have managed through sheer bloody mindedness to grind through to the higher tiers. They are still potatoes and useless to their team and still cannot grasp the fundamentals of the game,,,,so sad but thats what we have. Asking WG to stop this idiocy is a non starter, they want players to buy high tier premiums and gold to swap for free XP so that WG can make more money. Personally i would support competency based tests before playing in high tiers, other games do it succesfully. my example would be Gran Turismo, players must prove their driving skills before moving on, so why not WOWS ? I would happily do them now to PROVE my rightful place in high tier but it will NEVER happen i'm afraid, shame but that's life !

I just quit playing game in absolute disgust at the total complete idiocy of every team i played on. Unreal noobish teams. My winrate usually hovers around 51% ish. I am happy with that. Today it is at 33%. I have been doing pretty good scorewise but every team seems to lose royally. Anyone else suffering ?

I have been playing this game for over a year, mainly in cruisers as i love the fast moving fast firing gameplay, sometimes DD and only rarely BB. i dislike the style of BB play, slow slow slow and my DD play is pants. I now admit defeat, totally sick and tired of being BLASTED by every BB everytime i open fire. The only way to survive is either stay at max range and dodge like a ballet dancer or hide in smoke. I cannot count the times i have been behind friendly BB, and enemy BB will ignore them to get the easy cruiser kill. Today i fired at an enemy BB 18k away, 2 friendly BB were pummelling him at 5k and he ignored them to blast me, just WTF ! I just finished a game where again BB ignored our BB as soon as they see a cruiser ! \\\ Until recently i did fairly well in cruisers but lately all i seem to do is die ! I am now gonna start playing only BB so i can at least survive an occasional battle. I hate that it has come to this but there it is.

I just played a domination match where 4 enemy BB all sailed to corner of map trying to avoid taking damage, they did NOT help thier team at all and only died one by one as they were eventually encircled and destroyed by my team. Unfortunately this is happening FAR too often especially at higher tiers. I feel this is getting worse due to the age of the game, so many players who are way below average have now been playing long enough that over time they have accumulated enough XP and credits to get high tier ships but still have NO clue about teamplay nor have thier skills developed sufficiently to play to a reasonable standard. I do not claim to be the best however i do play the TEAM game whenever i can.

I stand corrected. Ok, CLOSE to concealment of a CA. EG Iowa 12-13k against St Louis 11-12k PS i am not an expert so i admit i may be wrong, just going on what i see ingame

If i make a mistake in a cruiser i expect and accept that i will be punished however the 20k+ BB one shot needs to be sorted and also spotting, as has been said, some BB have better concealment than CA so can sneak into close range and wreck them with CA having no chance. Not a good situation.

I use priority target so i know when to bug out. Incoming fire alert while useful only tells me someone has fired, while a useful bit of info i always asume everyone is firing at me anyway !

I use a variety of ships from tier 1 to 10. Kutuzov is my favourite steed, Zao gives best average damage along with Minotaur. No i dont sail broadside and yes i use priority target. Guess i am having a bad patch doh ! I got the message guys,,,,put on man pants, stop whining and fight like a tiger ,,,,,, will do and thanks all.

You make a fair point, i am just tired of being focus fired by BB all the time when there are far better targets closer. I am not too fussed about surviving the battle or about stats. Thanks guys for replies, maybe i just need to up my game a bit. Cheers very much.

I am not complaining about too many of anything. rather the LACK of survivability of cruisers.

So a cruiser has to hit a BB dozens even hundreds of times and burn the BB down to kill it but the BB can ONE SHOT the cruiser,,,,,,,,,and cruisers need a nerf REALLY ! Just WTF planet are you from ?

Update. Sunday was awful with a 33% win rate. Monday was the total opposite with a 76% winrate. Played 4 games today and got pounded into ocean floor. So,,,maybe its me, maybe not !

I love the comments that cruisers are a useless class. Must be a BB driver who hates being burned down by cruisers. I play mainly cruisers and love them, i am usually in top 3 for most battles unless i make a mistake and get nuked. Cruisers CAN be the most useful ships but they are very hard to play as they are ALWAYS focused by enemy BB first, i have had so many matches where i am 15k from enemy BB spamming HE to support my BB who are 5-10k from enemy and yet enemy ignore my BB and fire at me for the EASY kill ! In good hands a cruiser can have a major impact on a match especially as a counter to DD but cannot yolo or survive alone against enemy BB.

Idea for smoke screens. How about we make all smoke screens work like the Perth so that it will only cover the ship which lays it so we dont get half the map covered with smoke with multiple ships spending half the game hiding in smoke. I think this would improve gameplay no end. Any thoughts ?

WG introduced a full line of cruisers which can ONLY fire AP ammo (British) so no HE spam, and now we get BB babies whining about british cruisers being OP,,,,BB players ,,,,,,,, get a grip on reality and stop whining when you are killed ! HE spam, Torp spam, AP spam, if your not happy play Tetris !
