Excellent ship already, with buffs it is truly amazing.

In previous seasons i decided to go to rank 10 and leave it, was not really bothered but this time i thought i would try to go all the way. In this season of ranked i am getting very despondent with the teams. I am usually in top spot or at least top 3 on team, law of averages says that should be enough to move slowly forward, all should be fine and dandy,,,NO. Every single game my team are totally completely useless and all just die. Every game ! I managed to go to rank 8 in a short time but since then i have now dropped to 11/12 and am competely stuck, cannot get MORE stars just occasionally dont lose one. Even if i were to play a perfect game every game i still would not move forward ! Yesterday i had a losing streak of 15 games but as i was back at rank 12, cant fall any further. Every game a total roflstomp. So far today 7 losses and one win. Up to now been playing DD or BB but today i have decided to go back to what i do best and stick to CA/CL,,,mainly Cleveland and getting good results but still teams are wasting away. Anyone else experiencing this or just me ? Am i missing something ? Any tips ?

eliastion you are right. when playing DD i generally grab first cap, smoke team then try to spot. In BB i stay with fleet and try to focus enemies and only push when team has advantage. Now i am concentrating on Cleveland i am most often at top of team with 1 or 2 kills from HE spamming BB and deleting DD. Of course i make mistakes we all do but i do in the main try to play the team game, i have no problem for instance ramming an enemy if doing so will help get us a win. I just seem to be getting really bad teams in every game !

Went on to randoms, for a couple of games, 2 wins including 4 kills in Grozovoi,,,,,nice.

I just quit in disgust. 18 straight losses, 18 games where every ship on my teams were destroyed and only enemy killed were by me. Every game either first or second in team score. started today at rank 8 and now 10. In every game BB all stayed as far back as they could, CA/CL all island hugged and did nothing and DD were spotted and focused to death. I usually play Anshan and after capping nearest cap i go forward and spot enemy and harrass them. In nearly every game when i call out targets, no one shoots, when i request help, none comes. Spent 12 minutes behind enemy in a game earlier and kept enemy spotted the whole time and none of my team could shoot as they were all island hugging and could not get a shot off, i was eventually spotted and hunted down. Another game on ring at start of match i went into B cap and then enemy showed up, they had split with half A and half B. Not one of my team came forward to help they all went into reverse and ran away and were then killed one by one. Far Far Far too many campers and selfish idiots and planks who only want to survive !

I am mainly a cruiser player. Des moines, Hindenberg and Kutuzov are my favourite ships, i have no problem with radar being on any ship in principle as it just means that more skill is required to play and survive close to enemy. I am though concerned that BB are in the main far too strong against CA at the moment, as we all know at range BB can delete CA in one salvo either through well aimed broadside or the famous RNG. CA has to get sometimes several hundred hits to kill BB. Giving Missouri radar which is a special case premium i have no problem with, it is a buy for ridiculous money or long long grind to get it so is fairly rare but giving tech tree BB radar is i feel a step too far. As a cruiser driver i feel that this is another nail in the coffin of CA. DD are still small fast and somewhat hard to hit with good concealment but CA have NO answer to this, radared by a BB means almost always intant death. It is very definately starting to look to me that CA will die off and the game will become world of BB with occasional DD and CV. Why is anyone gonna want to play CA when you can be deleted so easily and BB can do all CA can but better. Thats my thoughts but i dont suppose it will have any effect,,,oh well,,,,onwards and upwards i suppose.

This is my personal message to all BB drivers who are on my team in ranked battles. I am not in the game solely to give you smoke cover. I am sick and tired of BB baby idiots telling me not to spot, not to cap and not to push forward and reporting me for selfish play when i have to use smoke to prevent myself from being deleted when spotted. I am quite happy to smoke my team when i can but i have other tasks as well. I usually race for nearest cap and then swing back to smoke my slow BB teamates but this it appears is not enough. I should spend the entire game sailimg next to BB just to keep them smoked. I should not chase down and kill enemy DD, i should not spot targets for them and should not burn down BB with my guns. This from BB babies who go to nearest cap and camp. Refuse to push. refuse to fire at DD and fire HE at broadside CA at close range. Well,,,this is my answer to you all, get ###### nuff said !

Guys, my tongue was in my cheek when i posted this, please dont take it too seriously. We all play in different ways, some are good teamplayers, some not. Thats life, thats the randomness of WOWS. My intention was to raise a few smiles so please ,,,,,, WHY SO SERIOUS !

Yep, had that too in various ships. Kutuzov, Belfast, Minotaur it's annoying but it's what i have come to expect from BB Babies. Cant have their precious ship being damaged !

Just laughed so hard i nearly fell off my chair. In battle in Farragut and was spotted, 3 enemy BB firing at me so i smoked to avoid deletion. BB on my team reported me for selfish play. Apparently my smoke is only for covering BB....WOW !

Jesus wept, every game,every team, every BB, total lack of guts or balls. All just hide or run away,,,,NEVER known it this bad !

I just had a game in Anshan. Only one DD per team. I go to A cap and capture it then go round back of enemy to spot them for my team. All 3 of my BB were hiding behind islands and refused to come out because there were ships with torpedoes and i should be smoking them up so the inevitable loss was MY fault and i am the noob,,,,Jesus i give up. Is there not one single BB driver on this game with any brains or balls !

Personally i am sick to death of BB who refuse to do anything except sit at the back hiding behind islands giving NO support and not helping at all, far too many firing wrong ammo at targets (Example- Firing HE at broadside cruiser) then complain that DD are not pushing or smoking them. BB drivers need to grow some balls and realise they have strongest armour and biggest guns and can DELETE CA and DD from game in one or two shots.....basically........man up and do your job, lead the attack, tank damage and KILL enemy ships !

Hi guys. I am usually a Cruiser player who occasionally takes out BB or DD just for a change of pace.I had a ranked battle yesterday in my Fuso. During this match an enemy Dunkerque who was trying to hide behind an island reversed far enough to show me his side at about 10k-11k range so i gave him a full broadside and got a satisfactory result - 50k damage, thanks very much. The guy then starts to scream cheat and repeatedly accused me of using an illegal mod and cheasting. At first i tried to politely explain that he made a mistake but he became very abusive and to my shame i admit i then responded in the same way. This sort of situation happens, i have been on the receiving end a few times and while it is annoying i generally recognise it was MY mistake and get on with the game. I would be interested to hear from you guys how often this happens and any funny ones that would give us all a smile. No naming and shaming just the funny ones please guys.

Strikes me that this season of ranked has become world of Fuso's and the object is to get into a cap and camp, that is all !!!!! In m ost games, No tactics, No skill, just delete Dd and CA as fast as possible then BB's slug it out ! Bored to tears with it ! Tier 6 for this season is too low, next season lets have tier 8 with NO premiums at all !

For the love of God, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i am on my knee's and begging, please Wargaming,,,,,do SOMETHING to help Cruisers survive against BB. Again i was just fighting a BB at long range in St Louis and doing ok then a damn Yamato from 25k blew me away AGAIN from full health to nothing in one hit, DO SOMETHING !!!!!!!!! Decrease BB accuracy at long range for a start which would also help cut down BB camping, give cruisers better armour angles because at the moment angling means nothing, BB can blast you at almost any angle. Almost no cruisers anymore because they are SO hard to play. They are constantly overmatched and punished in every game by BB. BB can blast a cruiser in one or two salvo's but Cruisers must use skill and tactics and hundreds of shots to kill a BB. DO SOMETHING before cruisers disapear altogether.

I believe that tier 6 is too low, too many noobs, at least with high tier ships the players SHOULD know how to play. This is just silly !

Started at rank 16 and am now 17. I have now played 17 battles. I give up,,,,only one win. Too many potatoes. Too many armchair admirals. Too many noobs. Too much stupidity. Too many cowards. Thats me finished with it.

Guys, i mainly play cruisers and sometimes for several hours a day. 6000+ games now. I am a VERY aggressive player and accept that this means i will have a very low survival rate,,,,not a problem for me. I also have no problem being killed in a fair fight but this business of a BB deleting me from 20k+ or suddenly appearing 12-13k from me then deleting me is getting a bit much. All i ask is for a bit of balance, give me a slight chance to angle and have a fair fight, not be insta-deleted. The skill level required to play cruisers succesfully is what keeps me playing them, they can have a huge influence on a game. Yesterday on North Map i defended A cap in my Minotaur, i killed a Yugumo then held off 4 BB and 3 CA for 15 minutes, i sank 3 before being finally killed. My team were able to cap B,C and D caps and we won. Good game and my contribution allowed the win. I think some changes would improve the game. 1.lower accuracy of BB at long range. 2. Improve armour of CA to allow for angled defence. 3. Increase detection range for all BB ( They are 60,000 ton monsters not dinghy's after all). 4. Detectability after firing. At the moment ALL ships have 20 sec increased detectability after firing, change this to reflect type of ship and gun calibre. DD-5 sec. CA-10 sec. BB-20sec. Removing stealth fire was a good move but it needs a tweak. Well thats what i think.

Guys, i fully agree that BB should have the strongest guns and best armour in the game just as they did in the real world but this is getting silly. Some high tier BB can get thier detection down to 12- 13 km and can overmatch ANY CA. Just please, give CA a chance ,,,,,,
