I've been having this problem since last update, very annoying !

So we have the USS Missouri a tier 9 premium BB which is technically available to all. We have the USS Black a tier 9 premium DD which is technically available to all. Where is the tier 9 premium cruiser WG ?

USS alaska would be amazing !

As mainly a Cruiser driver i would jump through hoops of fire naked for a tier 9 premium cruiser lol

I agree in principle with OP that giving a BB radar was and remains a bad idea but having recently unlocked Missouri and played a few games i personally feel a spotter plane would have been better for me, i find the radar is too situational. I am a very aggresive player and almost always push forward but even so the utility of radar for me is not that great at the moment.

He will be missed by a LOT of players. WG need to stop these knee jerk reactions as they only cause issues for themselves.

In most games when a cruiser opens fire ALL BB that are in range will auto aim at the cruiser mainly because it is an easy kill for them even if there are BB at closer range. I have been in so many games where i have been firing at a BB at 15k-20k with my BB teamates between me and enemy and that enemy BB will ignore the sometimes multiple BB firing at him to shoot at the only cruiser because it is the easy kill for him, and as we all know a BB can over match cruisers from any angle. That cannot be right !!!!! We need something to give cruisers a chance at least. Even when kiting away and using WASD to evade ,,,,, all that BB needs is RNGesus to give one random hit and goodnight. I am not asking for BB armour or huge buffs to anything, even a minor buff to bounce angles would help.

Some interesting discussion guys, i still believe cruisers need some love from WG, i dont ask for more armour but at least a small chance of bouncing SOME of the BB AP hits, even a small amount would have a huge impact.

Cruiser survivability IS an isue at all tiers and WG dont seem to be interested in addressing the issue. Only seem to me to be interested in making BB as powerful as possible.

Thats just about it, i rate myself as totally average so i guess its time for me to move on,,,,oh well it was fun while it lasted. At least i have the Missouri and Montana so not starting from scratch with BB.

The whole thing stinks of ####, just another stealth buff to BBabies precious ships, more pandering to potato players and WG trying to make World of Battleships. If these changes make it to live server then i am finished giving WG money.......sheer madness and total idiocy.

I am mainly a cruiser player, i have been saying for a long time that cruisers need a blanket buff to effectively fight in the BB heavy meta and now this idiocy, nerfing cruisers across the board. BBabies complain about HE spam with or without IFHE and ships using smoke to prevent them being insta deleted by BB and WG react by taking away both abilities while at the same time are planning on bringing a line of BB that HE burn better than ANY other ship. Is this for real or are WG taking the piss ? After investing well over a year and far more money than i care to think about that is now me finished with it, if these changes are brought in then i am gone, well done WG for screwing over everyone who chooses NOT to join the BBaby ranks. I will still play the game occasionally but not as main game and NO more money will be spent at all. One final word for WG,,,,,,,,MORONS !

I am TOTALLY against this, it is a buff to BB and nerf to CA/CL. Flamu just hit the nail on the head,,,,this is WG's way of dealing with BB overpopulation. Force everyone to play BB only then problem sorted,,,,simples ! Wake up wargaming !!!!

Oh for the love of god Wargaming,,,,,please request some brains from santa next christmas. Cruisers are in need of a buff across the board, BB's need a nerf across the board and what do you do,,,,yep nerf cruisers and buff battleships,,,REALLY !!!!! BB's can and do delete CA/CL with one salvo while CA/CL even with IFHE have to hit several hundred times to kill BB and you are gonna take this away,,,i am speachless at the idiocy of it all, just wow,,,,REALLY !!!!!

Hi all I just watched Notser video on British BB conqueror, as a mainly CA/CL player i feel this line of BB are another nail in the coffin of cruisers. A detection range on a tier 10 BB of 11.1km !!!!!!!!!! On what planet is that a good idea then ? We are now gonna see even less cruisers being played due to them now being outspotted by BB and deleted. This is a REALLY bad idea from where i stand. Cruisers can be very hard to play in the current meta due to massive hits from BB and now some cruisers can be outspotted by BB's, here come the insta delete games,,,,great ! What are your thoughts captains ?

This whole thing seems so wrong to me, as i said it is another reason NOT to play cruisers, why take a cruiser which can be outspotted and deleted by BB when you can take a BB that does everything a cruiser is supposed to excell at but with huge guns and loads of armour. Not good at all !

Welcome mate. Just keep playing and learning, it takes time, i still learn every day. Dont pay too much attention to the armchair admirals, watch and learn from what works for you. Try to ignore the salty and abusive comments as much as you can. best advice,,,have fun playing the game. Cheers.

Once AGAIN a buff to BB. WG just change the name to World Of Battleships and admit you only want BB's in the game.

I played a random battle last night in Grozovoi, got 4 kills, my screw up made me miss kraken. Decent concealment now at 6.5k and soon to be 6k. Good speed and maneuverability. Fast reload on 130mm guns with a small buff due in next update. All together a well rounded and usable DD. With IFHE it wrecks CA and its AP is very good even against BB. It does need to be played with a little care but for me,,,damn good ship.
