Sorry to say i like Tears of the Cruisers in Epicentre,,,,,,most enemy BB will camp behind islands, most enemy DD will rush to middle and most CA will stay at back. While there are exceptions it is easier to predict where the enemy will be and that knowledge can be exploited by those with the stones to do so. Had some really good games and success. Let them camp and then punish them for it !

howdy, i am a player with 7k battles, 11 tier 10 ships and a chilled approach ie i dont take it too seriously. Its good to win but after all its a game. Just left clan Bravado due to differences of opinion with leaders and now looking for a new clan. Am i missing something here ? WG state a desire to prevent BB's and CA's hiding in smoke to encourage more aggresive gameplay so they decide to nerf smoke. So proposed changes do not have too much of an affect to DD play-good. BB will not be able to fire from smoke anymore-good. CA will struggle to hide and shoot in smoke-good. But CL are being screwed completely. Just seen SEA server patch notes for update 0.6.12 on forum and WG will be offering a doubloun refund for Kutuzov, Belfast and Perth. So WG are admitting that this change is such a huge nerf to CL that they are going to offer a refund for premium ships.....just wow. So i have a few questions. First, what about the UK cruiser line which is also getting a huge hit with the nerf bat, will WG offer an XP refund on those ships ? CA/CL are already acknowledged as having a high skill requirement to play succesfully so WG nerf them to stop BB camping in smoke......really ! Finally does anyone really believe that this will encourage more aggresive play from anyone, no, not a chance if anything it will encourage far more camping behind islands, far more BB long range sniping and far more static play from everyone. Smoke heavy meta is very annoying but swinging the nerf bat at ships that rely so heavily on being concealed is NOT the way to sort this issue out. A lot of players complain that Kutuzov and Belfast are OP, and they can be in the right hands but for Mr Average player thay are not OP at all. To sum up this change is in my opinion a HUGE mistake and will not improve the game at all but will make it worse.

This change is totally stupendously idiotic and Edited . To stop BB and CA hiding in smoke WG are nerfing the ships which rely on the smoke not the BB......just What the goddamn planet are those muppets on ? If a ship lays a smoke screen it should be able to use it as now. Any ship which has not laid the smoke should get no benefit from it at all, so a BB sailing into a DD's smoke will still be visible to all and will get NO benefit from the smoke. Simples ! I hate playing against CV's but i do not in any way support removing them from clan battles at all,,,,just a DUMB move ! For players who do not have a tier X then sorry but tough, get grinding, giving them tierX ships they do not know how to use is just DUMB ! All in all typical WG idiocy all round !

Same issue for me. PC is all in order and running fine, windows 10 recent clean instal with everything else fine yet wows is having constant problems. Random crashes and freezes, failure to load into matches,,,,,,,really annoying now !

Also, winrate means nothing to me. In my opinion far too many players put way too much into winrate and many take the whole game too seriously.

Online nastiness and hatred should be called what it is. IT IS BULLYING pure and simple. The online bullies who hide behind the anonymity of the web are simply cowards and are below your contempt. Dont let them put you off playing a GAME for fun, they are sad small minded simpletons who are in need of being hit with the reality stick. I too have a paltry 50% winrate and i do not care in the slightest. This is a GAME and i try hard to treat it as such, i play for fun and do not care in any way what anyone else thinks. I always try my best to help the team and if thats not enough then sod em all. Send me an invite anytime in game and i will join you for a bit of fun. Keep smiling and keep having fun.

Cruisers have a high skill requirement at the moment to do well. Average players just die quick. BB generally do not fear CA/CL at all because they are so easy to kill. An agled BB can only be burned with HE which takes time but the BB can do massive damage or delete even an angled CA/CL. At long range, 20k plus a BB with concealment build who is unspotted can delete a CA/CL with the help of some RNG while CA/CL is spotted. For above average cruiser players there is not really an issue but Mr average struggles,,,,,,,give them some help please WG.

I will happily take Kutuzov against tier 10 any day,,,,farm that lovely damage,,,,,,yum yum yum

Veteran players are and should be rewarded occasionally for showing dedication and loyalty to the game. New players demanding all the benefits straight away amuse me. If you missed an event for some reason or another then thats your problem,stop whining. Special captains give some small boosts to captain skills but do not in any way make for insta wins. If you want to have these special captains and special ships its simple,,,,,,keep playing and dont desert the game.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO and NO. Bad idea all round, this will not in any way prevent back camping at all. It will make even ca/cl back camp more. BB will be even less likely to push forward due to less spotting from ships which will now be more reluctant to push forward. Tested this a lot yesterday on PTS. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

The changes to smoke, IFHE and radar are simply another example of WG slapping a plaster over a gaping wound and hoping it will FIX the problem ! These changes are all BAD to me. The only change needed to prevent the smoke heavy meta was to make using someone else's smoke only 50% effective ,,,,,,simple and sorted !

I know this has been discussed before however, just had 6 straight defeats which were all total rofl stomps. Enemy only lost one or two ships I dont really mind too much as i had fun and made a fair few credits in USS Trump. My question is this........ Why do so many games play out this way ? We used to have far more close games and now almost every game is a rofl stomp, very few close calls. Theories guys ?

Smile time,,,,,,,,, I have heard a LOT of tinfoil hat theories about this topic so here is my favourite. i suffer soooooo many defeats of this type that i now believe that WG have an employee who's only function is to screw me up in game, if i'm in a DD he will load the game with CV and radar cruisers, if i'm in cruiser he will load the game with BB and IJN DD. WG hate me and screw me every game. Love it

Fair points. I have just had another one. In Montana and sank 3 ships, survived until almost the end enemy only lost 4 all game and of course all our team died. Really not getting it at all. Most games one team or another its 404 brains not found as you say,,,no teamwork = loss
