I have the latest client version for World of Warships but when I try to 'CONNECT!' it says that the currently installed version of the game is older than that of the server. Please update the client. ​I have restarted the game many times and have restarted my laptop but I keep on getting the same message. ​When I go to the launcher it tells me - 'You are running the latest client version' - right next to the 'PLAY' button. Please reply with some help.

Yes, I was thinking of the Dam Busting raid and what you are saying is all true. There is one problem though. This discussion is all about ​British ​ships and aircraft and therefore, although you are well informed and correct, the skip bombing from B-25's could not be used by British planes and British carriers. ​Before you start casting aspersions at the AA in this game - you try shooting down a small dot in the sky moving at 130mph+ who (believe it or not) doesn't want to be blasted into oblivion by your guns. But yes, I do agree that AA could be made into a slightly bigger threat. Also, what tier do you play at - lower tiers won't have the AA to shoot down ships as aircraft carriers were not a mainstream threat in WWI and therefore ships were often not built with AA defence in mind If my comment is historically inaccurate please correct me instead of calling me an idiot.

​I have got to say that I agree with the title of this discussion. I mostly use the British Tier 6 Cruiser - 'Leander' - and 2/3 of the time <---- (no exaggeration) I am paired with Tier 7's and 8's. I am always outranged and outgunned by all opposing ships and have been taken out by 2-3 salvos from battleships which I cant even detect. If Wargaming are going to insist that your division can only have ships 1 Tier apart then can they please ensure that Tier 6 ships are not paired with Tier 8's. Not meaning to have a rant at wargaming - have had many hours of fun on WOW - and I admire their skill at making such an amazing game. The matchmaking is virtually the only fault with this game.

​Ok, so just a couple of things. I don't disagree with you in the fact that the F35b is better than the Harrier jump-jet. There - I said it you can all go mad at me. Anyway, when presenting a 'convincing argument' it helps not to call the party you are trying to persuade 'mad'. It would also help if you could present us with some facts and figures. The reason that the F35b is in a 'different league' is because it can carry many more and better weapons. It is also 'Super-sonic' whereas the Harrier is Sub-sonic. Also the comment is off topic so I hope that this one I have just posted will be the last on this 'Sub-topic'.

I think that this just about solves the question 'Should Battlecruisers be given their owns branch'. No-one can agree what defines a 'Battlecruiser' and therefore Wargaming cannot choose the definition of Battlecruiser without upsetting one party. Subsequently I can deduce that Battlecruisers will never get their own Branch in WoW.

​You know that bouncing bombs were only used in one mission by the Brits in WWII which was operation Chastise. The bouncing bomb could only be carried by the Lancaster bomber - a plane unsuitable for carrier take-off and landing and therefore couldn't really be added to WOW without the 'historical accuracy matters' protesters going berserk.
