What are you implying by this, since there are many possibilities? Kindly enlighten me.

    Attack plane nerf

I already said Kleber AA was dead on arrival and that's how they decided to balance a high speed destroyer it has many other strengths to make up for it. I also mentioned that there are allot of ships that are now power crept since the introduction of their new fantasy ships and instead should receive buffs to suite the new norms created by the introduction of these ships, which applies to your khaba. There are many ships that are more or less just eyecandy now in the port due to this if you own them. I'm starting to think many of you just choose to pick small parts of what I'm saying and ignore the rest. Like bronson said this was nerfed. I've had matches as a CV where I was uptierd and stuck in a team that lemming trained 1 cap. I was forced to play the glorified spotter and sacrifice my planes just so they do not receive crossfire and get taken apart showing their broadsides. At the end of the game I was on 190K spotting and only 30K damage it secured the win, but I also the bottom spots of the leaderboard. Instead of being grateful I sacrificed my fun, which should essentially be the core of any game, I was flamed at and report spammed just because I had no planes left to spot the enemy carrier for more free damage at the end, which is a very typical occurrence. I could care less for karma points or empty words being thrown at me that is beside the point. I could have gone for damage, xp and credits instead and we would have lost. If you essentially nerf a class where one of its main roles as a class is to spot into its only role they are no longer fun to play and no one will either.Other than maybe clan battles where it can secure them the win and their steel. And if such nerfs continue this is the direction its heading. Many factors of spotting have been nerfed like spotting torpedoes themselves which makes sense.Even the detection radius of planes so they become visible to a dd allot sooner and give them a huge area to work in to evade detection. Sure the possibly of further nerfing the way spotting works on a carrier for the team is there. I can tell you tho that this will only serve to increase the damage output of CVs and again light a fuse under this CV OP mentality. This will enable the CV to farm the full hp of ships that decided to sail out into open water on their own without receiving focus fire from the team because they are no longer spotted for them. DDs still get the full xp from spotting and fill that role too against battleships, cruisers even other dds with a higher detection range than them, where these ships can be focused down by the team. All the while having the possibility of remaining undetected. I say can because even if you are making your team aware to focus fire on a ship where its removal will secure the win they do not do so more often or not. Some get torpedo ranges well outside their detection range and even radar and they can secure top spot simply by spotting. Should we now also begin to nerf torp ranges of this class to simply become a glorified spotter and put them at risk of camping radar ships that can even get them detected through islands?

This is only the case for AP and in particular AP that cannot pen the top deck of a carrier and you're completely ignoring the superstructure in this statement. Load HE then and before you mention the automated repair which WG implemented and no one asked for. I'm not talking about killing it by fire but the sheer damage that can be done by spamming the superstructure. Let's not talk about ignorance when you make claims like Halland AA is okay. And only mention that a competent CV player can take out a halland and neglect to mention that this must be a pretty incompetent halland to be taken out by a carrier without a big struggle for the carrier. Halland can completely shut down a CV when played correctly add in the legendary captain once his passive is activated. Well the CV won't be bothering you at all. Not only that it gets a heal. Does this always work of course no even at the top of our game we make mistakes that get us sunk or you get focused down by the entire team, because playing dd sometimes one has to take calculated risks that don't always pay off. Yes we instead should listen to you. Yes please teach us all the game sensei. I'm not trying to teach you anything simply sharing my opinion and experience. Check your ego out the door No crap sherlock, but this is the situation you are creating by condoning such nerfs. Let's nerf every single ship we grind for, so they can release the solution to the problem! Wows that is truly inspiring! And there it is I saw this stats mentality coming a while ago. I don't care for your stats nor will I be checking them. They are only relevant if you solo the majority of these games in these ships where you pride yourself in with your "unicum" winrate. The way the matchmaker works many ships can also land in a high winrate if you are lucky enough to land in dominant teams roflstomping. And at the end of the day it wont even matter what role you played in such matches, hence making winrate a pointless stat to begin with.Your stats do not show how many of those were divisioned up roflstomping the community you claim 50% of are less capable than bots. By that statement you can even inflate your stats simply because your above average. That is some achievement there sir. There's even people who create new accounts after learning the game, because these stats are more important to them than playing the game. My stats are my business whether I choose to show them is my decision. Make all the assumptions you want you are free to make them. at the end of the day they will remain so. Good for you your clan is still around cool story bro. Doesn't change the fact that lots of clans I used to play with on occasion completely abandoned the game for numerous reasons all from decisions WG made in the past. Don't make me laugh these delays are not significant enough that the prediction you make from your shell velocity won't hit its target. Yes I mentioned it is possible for a dd to zigzag out of detection and get away. I did not; however, say that this is very likely. If you want to make such comparisons you need compare shells from a cruiser within ~6-15km and imagine delays being big enough that your prediction leaves a huge margin of error for the destroyer player. Don't judge others peoples character when you are the first to pull the arrogance and ignorance card while calling 50% of the community bellow average. Even those who said the nerfs are step in the right direction say the delay is too big, but you want to pretend like the delays are properly implemented.

The problem lies in the fact that a win is team oriented in a game where everyone plays for themselves. You can do plenty as surface ships if you work together, but only divisions do and even sometimes those are potatoes or care more for their inflated stats than playing tactical. Angling against rockets works the same as angling against shells. The reason I mentioned reptilian mind is exactly for this reason. Your survival instinct part of your mind won't accept that the carrier can damage your main ship while you can't. The debate that the actual launch platform is safe from damage to me is irrelevant that is literally what the class is that's why I mentioned why people were against it being introduced. The further away the carrier is the longer its flight path before it has to repeat that entire path. It also has limited attacks often not all of squadrons will be used to prevent having a low amount of planes at the end of match. In order to reduce this flight path the launch platform needs to get closer. Look at the huge spotted by sea radius all carriers now have since concealment expert was removed as a skill. Once the launch platform is spotted it is quickly focused down or even removed by a single ship. Again using the one exception to make a point to me irreverent. You get high speed and quick engine reaction time to do something against the rocket planes once you see them initiating the attack it is highly unlikely that you can't get out a full broadside hit if you don't have low situational awareness. And yes its AA was dead on arrival on release, but that is how they decided to balance it in order for it to have a weakness. Comparing a kleber to a marceau good joke. Now that the penalty to "fearless brawler" was removed and it being gunboat you by default choose "Main battery and AA Specialist" and "Main battery and AA expert". This makes your fire rate absolutely ridiculous and you also get your AA effectiveness increased and its AA in this build is not weak at all quite the contrary and you get the added benefit of high speeds to play with in order to mess with CV players accuracy. I suggest you try it. It can completey roflstomp any dd which doesn't have any focus fire support from their team. They can also be played like HE spamming cruisers lobbing shots over an island. This was a mere example I play dds myself. Again irrelevant argument a carrier is a launch platform the thought process of you not being able to damage it is pointless. That is what carriers are in essence that's why they were so influential on how naval warfare changed after their introduction. WG added them anyway, get over it don't rush caps and give Carriers the chance to punish your mistakes. And the part of ammunition you mention only makes sense to bring up to compare the fact that planes are the the carriers ammunition and are limited per run (flight path) and when used stupidly the regeneration rate you wills soon try to throw back at me is irrelevant. Surface ships have endless ammunition and can easily correct their aiming, in particular cruisers which get ridiculous reload times and can blab enemy dds out of existence if they would actually support them. Should we now give these type of cruisers a delay on shells being fired so dd's can escape and zig zag their way out of detection, which is already possible btw without a delay on the laughable amount of shells being thrown at them by these ships and somehow not giving a full broadside to rocket planes is an issue. These were just a few possibilities of many.. Player that don't kamikaze in their destroyer knew what I meant by this. Words are open to interpretation, welcome to human communication. With all rounders I meant that they can take apart an entire enemy team spamming their torps if left unchallenged at short reload times which only get shorter the more damaged they've taken. All the while remaining phantoms of the sea. Legend says they remain unseen to this day. Yes I'm fully aware this is the way the game is balanced and I do not agree with it. And yes the slingshot mechanic was a deserved nerf I personally did not use it as I viewed it as an exploit to the way they implemented the animation, but again what this proves is that people will always exploit anything no matter which ship type. This was an introduction more or less to the fact about the video I mentioned later and how absurd it was to create this herd mentality of CV OP. And no before dual VIII CV battles were actually quite common to encounter in VI dds and single VIII very common and no these were not always bad players. There are many horrid cv players just like there are dd players and you write it as if CV players being bad is a rare exception. If you put time into CVs you know how they think and if they are left searching for you long enough they move on to other targets as they do not have a choice in the matter. If they continue to search for you it allows another flank to push them closer to their launch platform which can mean their loss. And if you get detected eventually you will just use smoke and be safe before they can get in an attack run, which will only cost them more time. And yes I get your point as I do not care about recording every match or converting it to video before the replays are overwritten there is no evidence of it and only my word. Fair enough Again missing the point. This Roosevelt eventually bombed the halland out of existence, because the decisions and mistakes this player made it possible to do so including the Midway not caring to support this halland in any manner to counter. Granted I wouldn't have helped him either and instead let him feel the pain of his mistakes, in the hopes he learns from it, but let's face it. It probably won't make a difference. The point was that this video exists and was still used to completely misrepresented CVs and easily influenced much of the community cause they do not know any better. You yourself unintentionally or not confirmed how ridiculous it is yourself. So rushing a cap before you know the positioning of anything and not waiting for the possibility any focus fire or AA support, all the while letting the carrier know that you are sitting in the cap. Or being in the middle of nowhere alone without support and turning into a target to be punished by the carrier is not a mistake? Ok then if you say so I'll take your word for it. Sure but ask yourself why this is the case now and why the game is loosing experienced capable players or they since moved to only playing ranked or clan wars at this point. To conclude I said I wasn't against these changes in the first place if they were reasonable, properly tested and fine tuned the delay before making it into the live servers. This is not the case, however. The way it was implemented is the equivalent to adding a firing delay to AP shells big enough that by the time they arrive at their target the fully broadsided ship is now completely turned away and then you read about people talking about skill and thinking mechanic being included from this patch. And CV players get called the most brain dead class to play when in reality it is the battleship which simply sits at the back taking potshots on ships thanks to other players spotting waiting for that glorious broadside. Ask yourself why BBs do not push unless they want to end up at the bottom of the ocean. Is it possibly the array of torps that will be launched at them or the high fire rate HE and now you can add the full CV focus to that list. At the current meta the battleship utilizing its full range and angling properly can also not be touched by cruisers removing deadeye did not change this. Only when their team is taken apart or can be focused will they then be punished more often then not sailing to the next map until the enemy team cap wins before dying . Claiming I am still hitting dd players with rockets cause they are bad and make no attempts at all to correct their course is equally laughable that puts those dd players on the same if not worst level as the bots in coop. You mite as well all move there then or WG should add bots to random battles because 50% of the community is even worst than these bots according to you.

    Update 0.10.5 - Feedback Survey

Yes add fuse timers to all torpedoes and shells so all players need to choose the correct time or they won't detonate on impact. We need more evolved "skill based" and "thinking based" mechanics to give players time to react while showing full broadside.

    Attack plane nerf

All the Carrier haters/OP sayers need to realize that your problem is really the role it actually fulfills which makes it the class it is. There is a reason Carriers marked the end of the traditional naval warfare this game represents and big caliber battleships disappeared out of the equation after their introduction. That is why many were against introducing them in the first place. Guess what WG added them anyway and they are here to stay. No matter what they nerf you will find something to cry about, because essentially you are now forced to have patience and pick your moments to attack. You don't like the fact that you can no longer flank the enemy around an island chain without being noticed and completely surprise them or your poor little lolliboat can't remain stealth for the entire match anymore; if you make mistakes, spamming their torps. Seems your reptilian minds cannot get around this fact. The majority of dds actually get smoke to disengage and retreat whenever they want assuming they did not over push and get lit up by radar. Those that do not; get powerful AA, if you do not skill into that on your captain for said boats and play them like they have smoke that's your problem. There are many cruisers that do not get a heal until end tiers that can still be over matched or insta killed when giving a full broadside to battleships sitting in the back lines. DDs can just as equally flank and keep these ships spotted without having a counter other than planes in this scenario because they remain out of radar range. The other mistake most make is assuming good Carrier players actually main CV. A CV player is only good if they understand the strength and weaknesses of all ships they encounter and what roles they fill and know to pick their moments of attack, regardless of what the irritating backseaters are ping spamming throughout the match because they think they know better or worst yet think you can teleport across the map to save them from their own mistakes. You only learn this by actually playing these ships. Same is the case with good destroyer’ players that aren't dead within the first 2 minutes of a game. They do not treat the cap like the finish line of a race; instead they wait to spot the radar cruiser/planes, focus the enemy dd first to free up that flank, or go to caps where radar cruisers cannot position themselves to shoot over islands. Besides let's not pretend like not every class has OP broken ships in it that eventually got removed and are now only accessible through Christmas chests, which everyone who has the luxury of owning abuses whenever they can. Why are they still available through pricey gamble chests once a year you ask? WG understands human nature, we want what we cannot have specially when it is OP and in the season of giving it is making them bundles of cash , because there is no guarantee of getting the ships you want unless you already own the crap premiums you do not want. They needs to pay the bills after all. Let's also not pretend that torp dds are not broken all rounders. How about they get the amount of nerfs CVs have gotten throughout the years force these vocal lolliboat players to constantly adapt to changes when they are already incapable of adapting to a two-year rework and are still complaining about it. I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not I assume you are, since you are basically contradicting yourself. If you rely on a bad dd player to remain fully unaware and make 0 corrections in order for this nerf to work, does that not essentially make you a bad CV player? One does not balance a game around a bad player, because by doing so you are achieving the exact opposite and only make those ships easier to dominate with in right hands. I've had many games in my t61 (sure its a strong ship within its tier but its AA is not great. its only saving grace in an uptier scenario is its hyrdo and spotting range since you can remain in smoke in relative safety) where I was in a VIII battle against two CVs and still managed to survive without an issue helping my team to spot throughout the match and eventually killing one or two of the CVs. If you actually played the CV lines you know the spread behavior of the rockets and how to angle so they do minimal damage. Heck you can also remain stealth by remaining outside their air spotting range by pressing p until they eventually give up searching for you since the match time is ticking away or use island chains to limit the maneuverability of attack planes to the point the window is so small, they can't land an attack. A good dd player can dominate just as easily. Had these CVs actually worked together and focused ships things may have been different or if these CVs were actually good players. The CVs in my team were equally crap in this scenario. Should CVs with the same logic now be buffed around the bad CV players too? Not to mention double CV per team matches are the exception to the rule and shouldn't exist in the first place. Yet I still saw a video titled "Fun Police" a while back where exactly this scenario was portrayed where a oeland was stuck in a double tier VIII CV battle making questionable decisions that got him focused by them since he was stuck alone in the middle of map and the friendly CVs made 0 attempts to support him. And words were used like most powerful AA in the game no counter. Or a Halland doing the same against the only truly broken CV that has not been affected by this nerf the Roosevelt. Sitting in the middle of the map alone where the friendly midway made 0 attempts to counter the CV and instead used combat planes on himself. There are no counters against any ship if you make stupid mistakes. Not just that as said before double CV per team should not exist in the first place and does not represent the balance of CVs, yet this was still used to generate the CV OP mentality. Two good CVs working together focusing anything will annihilate the entire team if the CVS on the other team are not countering them or equally good. That is why the mm was changed for this to not happen in tier X anymore (imo this should be the case for all tiers regardless of how long people need to wait in their CVs because lower tiers have more players still learning the game and frustration is not a good way to retain new players) and it has always been blocked as an option in division. The same is the case for a full halland/sommers/smaland/marceau divisons or double smolensk with a spotter dd just to name some examples. I've even seen Roosevelt and halland divison which made no attempt to cap and just protected their clanny from our CV. I purposely went for all dds on the other flank in my marceau took them apart and started going for their Carrier to keep that division busy on me regardless if I die or not, while my team took all the caps. That this division lost speaks enough about the fact that even broken ships are nothing special in the hands of the potato. The opposite is the case with skilled players;however. Yet these combinations are for some reason allowed. Why don't we actually balance the game around people who only play in full divisions abuse the full array of broken ships because they are well aware it gives them an advantage since each ship type will be filling their role and be competent, yet still decide to call themselves unicum. Why don't we force these players to wait longer in the queue and play against each other instead of sometimes even all landing together in one team, whereas the other team gets no divisions at all or laughable ones to say the least?

    Attack plane nerf

The reset is when submarines get introduced into the game, another ship type the majority was against to be added into the game. Personally I'm burnt out myself from the game and will be taking a break, since their approach to content has been spamming more and more ships since the PayTo Rico. This grabs your attention for a while but eventually the grind becomes to much especially since there has been no pause between the introduction of new ships. If I were not taking a break; however, I'd leave my CVs for maintenance in the port until they hotfix this over the top nerf and find myself playing the OP dd like halland, sommers, benham and marceau, which are no free to reek havoc on all potatoes and most likely make them rage quit even sooner, which is kind of ironic in itself. Thankfully tho I have other games in my library that are actually fun to play and don't feel like a full time job and grind. The direction WG is heading they are well on their way in pissing off the players who have been there since the start and don't favor any ship type but rather adapt to the changes and what the matchmaker throws at them. Once this happens their player retention rate will drop to a point where they kill their own game. This story is as old as multiplayer games themselves. The people enjoying a game in its current state are busy playing it, while the vocal minority flock to forums (most often or not casual potatoes) and shed tears until they get what they want. Listening to a community can be good for a developer if its the right people, but if it's from biased one sided opinions from people who main surface ships or even a ship types in itself and they are close minded enough to not even try a full carrier line, continued playing them to understand the nerfs that have occurred over the period of 2 years since the rework. Well then they are making a huge mistake, which will cost them dearly. Many of these nerfs were reasonable as they came from actual players who play a variety of ships. Carriers were finally balanced while still remaining unique between the nations, other then the steel monster which shall not be named.

    Attack plane nerf

Thanks. I tried the best to express the situation. To be clear I am not entirely against the change, the machine gun animation makes sense to help newer dd players increase their situational awareness. But for it to be released onto live servers in this state (6 second delay) feels like they had a dd main supertest the change, who wanted to be Poseidon himself for the entire period of current patch or until it is hot fixed anyway. I'm not saying this is the case, but that is what it feels like. Either they simply completely ignored the testers notes or it was not tested properly at all and WG decided it is now a good idea to use live servers as the new PT servers. Just like they did with the captain rework. Sure they gave a free reset on any captain that had deadeye skilled, but this should have not made it to a finished official patch in the first place. They also changed a destroyer skill, which was not viable before for example ,because it had a 10% penalty on spotted by sea. Therefore no gunboat captain picked this skill, but since the penalty was removed it is now viable for every gunboat. Yet we either have to waste elite captain xp or spend money on doubloons to reset them now. All the rework really did was remove the pool of elite captains we had and force us to grind them all over. The builds for cruisers and battleships remained pretty much the same just that the skills now cost more points to use.

    Attack plane nerf

This is the can of worms we opened from the survey we filled out around a year ago, where they asked how important balance was to us. Unfortunately in true WG fashion they had a complete disconnect of what we actually wanted and understood this as a free ticket to nerfing ship parameters or mechanics even on premiums. In reality we just wanted balance in the matchmaker itself, where a match was no longer so one sided with dominant teams pitted against weak.Removing the possibility of double CV per team matches etc. This could have been solved by creating actual leagues where players were positioned into gold, silver, bronze rank based one or more of the many statistics they collect and then pit said ranks against each other (This is just one of many possibilities). Instead we got a Ranked mode split into said categories as a progression.Sure you have a bigger chance of carrying or securing your star, but it is still more or less a lottery simulator unless you abuse the OP ships. At least you still get your steel without reaching the next league I'll give them that. Grinding any ships for the resources that can take months to gather has become pointless, because now they are no longer safe from being hit by the nerf hammer. Making them strong at the start makes grinding these ships appealing; which they are well aware of, but now they are open to be changed further down the line which makes it a complete waste of time. How about not releasing ships in broken state in the first place until it 100% fine tuned. There are a ton of ships already to choose from, many of which are now powercrept by WGs new fantasy creations, how about balancing those to the new norms created by these fantasy ships. Personally I don't view spamming an endless amount of new ships no one asked for as content. All this does is create more and more imbalance to the point these ships get removed, because obviously everyone will want to abuse the most broken ship in the game. Smolensk, Thunderer, Belfast..... to name a few. This change leaves destroyers unchecked in many scenarios. Any semi competent dd player can now take apart the entire enemy team, assuming there isn't another dd player/radar cruiser on the opposite team on their level or better than them to stop them. And let's face it the way their matchmaking works it's rarely the case. Anyone who wants to claim oh I just HE bomb them now on my Midway. Wait until you meet a halland with full AA build and the legendary captain, they will no longer activate their consumable on your rocket planes cause those are a goner anyway. Instead they will use it on your tasty bombers and quickly get the +10% passive buff on AA. Already before this build could completely shut down a carrier in ranked for example. Specially with a player who does not main only one ship type or line and is well aware how all CVs function including positoning of radar cruisers. I see the destroyer population increasing to the point where it will effect the battleship and cruiser population. We will be seeing an increase in radar cruisers for sure especially the ones of the Stalins wet dream variety like the Petro. The battleship population will drop as they are now the focus of every single HE spammer, torp spammer and carrier. I suspect we will see the return of the good old Smolensk as well in the form of DD hunters. Irony is the vocal crybabies are the ones who will be punished by this change. The type who are the first to sink due to 0 situational awareness and instead of moving on, decide to backseat everyone else still alive playing better than them.

If you are talking about moving captain between premium ships. Once you assign him to all premium ships of said country use the recall captain function. Much faster than before as its one click instead of opening a menu. Hope it helps.

    FPS Issues in Update 0.9.9

The fix is already up, but its a manual download in this forum as not everyone apparently has this issue. Wish they would have stickied something in the actual game launcher I barley played this weekend because every ship line was unplayable due to micro freezes in crucial moments like dodging torps in a dd or flak in a CV. And yes indeed CVS had it the worst combined with the rocket planes engine boost bug which is still not fixed. Here the link for the fix Enjoy and hope it works for you like it did for me.

    Future Plans for Aircraft Carriers

Sure I'd have to agree on that. I have observed this too. But they also end up dragging out the match until the counter reaches 0 and are more likely rewarded with a loose by doing so, as the few that did push and supported the ships capping or attempting to have since been wiped out. Leaving no one to spot for them other than the cv and they will never reach the caps on time to retake them. A big lemming train forming towards one cap and them stopping the push towards that cap is far more common in my experience, but why this occurs is a whole other problem of its own where I would have to add this quote.

    Future Plans for Aircraft Carriers

CVs are fine the way they are. I play both DD and CV. Heck I've been in tier VIII battles with two VIII CVs with my VI dd several times and did just fine averaging up to 3 kills. What I observed is that those dd players complaining and whining are unwilling to adapt to the changes. They rush into cap with their AA activated and often even completely ignore the fighter squadron support given by the friendly CV. Naturally when the enemy planes get within the DDs AA range they will get spotted and erased. Soon to follow are said raging DDs, which are quick to blame everything but themselves. With AA disabled on your DD it is actually quite simple to evade the planes by staying out of your Air Detectability range. A DD will almost always spot the planes from a far distance way before those planes even have a chance to get into that range. When you do get spotted the planes are right above you and are forced to make another pass in which case you can either manage to disengage or use smoke. Once you secured a cap you can then get around the CV patrol line and start spotting from behind the enemy lines eventually working your way towards the CV. When spotted there is always smoke and yes of course there are certain DDs that do not have smoke but those are more often than not gunships. And should stay with their fleet spotting torps/ enemey DDs for them and spamming their cannons within the safety of their fleet. I'll agree that in the current state of matchmaking the possibility of two CVs per team is complete overkill and is the only change that should be made by reducing the max per team to 1. That being said the CVs can easily be countered by staying in two fleets combining their AA power for each one. It's when players decide to separate from the fleet and push on their own, which I've seen happen too many times when playing as CV. The team gets the lead with caps held or kills and people start getting over confident gradually spreading further apart, even going as far as to continue pushing towards the remaining enemies instead of guarding the caps. These are the moments CV's are waiting for, as it enables them to focus and single out these kill hungry players. Picking them off one by one. Those players then start spamming "Request AA Fire Support" expecting you to fly across the map (often taking up to 1min depending on the nation and your captain skills) just to drop a fighter squadron as if your planes can teleport to them or even last long enough to keep them alive. When things don't go their way the report spamming begins or the toxicity. Guess what if you want to push a carrier or even two on your own the closer you get to it/them the quicker the carriers can apply damage to you and sink you into the depths. Personally I like the rework because it completely changes the dynamic of the game. No longer is it wise to camp and wait for easy unsuspecting targets as you will be spotted and focused on when you stay stationary too long, which to me is a welcome change. It forces people to work as a team or get punished and this has always been a team game. It keeps the battle flowing instead of the game ending to a finished timer count. DDs were given free reign for way too long. I didn't see anyone complaining about shima's massive array of 20km torps, while dds were king of the sea out spotting everything in the game, but now all of sudden where the DD has to have better situational awareness to remain a ghost on the Minimap its suppose to be an issue? And if anyone takes offense to what I typed rest assured none was intended. This is just my take towards the current situation and what I have observed.
