Last I heard about 1/3 of players (by WG's own figures) only play co-op. I prefer co-op and usually only play random because I want an offered reward, then I go back to co-op (it's more fun).
-
We need the ability to turn them off. On another note, I commented on the web site for the patches earlier and my comment (against) has vanished since then (I put up another, hope it stays).
-
Which will (except for paper designs) be in another 2 or 3 years (at least as far as BB's).

The Greeks did order a BB from Germany, with 14" guns supplied from the United States. It was uncompleted because of WW1. The guns and turrets were sold to the British and used on monitors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_battleship_Salamis Also a potential German premium ship. The Greeks also ordered Vasilefs Konstantinos ( built to the same design as the French Bretagne class) from France. It was also uncompleted because of the war.

A couple of years ago (approximately) Wg said that around 30% of their players only play co-op. It was somewhere on the forum.

Both NA and EU are due to get them next week. https://thearmoredpatrol.com/2017/07/03/the-high-school-fleet-arrives-next-week-naeu/

Actually they sprayed oil onto the coal as it burned to get it to burn hotter. As for the iron duke, there was an interesting thread that considered what could be done as possible upgrade(s). http://warships1discussionboards.yuku.com/topic/21099/HMS-Iron-Duke-Fast-Battleship-rebuild-proposal?page=1#.WVu8q2iQy72 Though I know they would offend some people's sensibilities, a thoroughly updated Iron Duke class (and HMS Tiger) would have been useful in the Med against the older Italian BB's and most places against treaty cruisers, and shore bombardment.

That's not Iron Duke. Looks like a Revenge class.

I could more easily believe KGV 14" as a tier 7, Nelson as a Tier 7 Premium, and G3 as Tier 8 than a 15" equipped KGV. I guess they will do G3 and N3 as premiums. -

It is believed that the 14" gun KGV has been renamed for testing reasons, so as not to confuse it with the tier 8 KGV with 15" guns. Seems odd that they would rename the 14" version instead of the 15". -

SOON. -
When we purchase or are given Premium days, place them in inventory, and let the player decide when and how many days to use. It sucks getting premium days and being forced to use them at once. I have chosen, more than once, not to purchase offers in the premium shop because I didn't want to be forced to use a bunch of premium days they included.

Since all we have is leaks (no official announcement yet), Gamescon in August is the obvious choice. -
Do you want more pre-dreadnoughts?
Todger_Fairmile replied to puxflacet's topic in General Discussion
What we need is a different game centered around pre-dreadnoughts, instead of trying to shoe-horn them into this game. Before Dreadnoughts, 5k was considered long range. If you look at some of the worst (for gun arc) low tier cruisers you will notice that they are reasonably accurate at those kind of ranges. It also explains the original short ranges of the Russian torpedoes, and the real ranges of the fixed torpedoes. -
“Hear me roar” – The Lion designs in game

As long as you're making up names, good a name as any. Though to be fair Conqueror was intended to be used as a name for one of the Lion Class BB's. -

The Battlecruiser actually existed and was famous as Beatty's flagship. The leaked tier 9 BB was never completed (scrapped on slipway). So, I say use a different name for the tier 9. Perhaps Temeraire, as she was the only other ship of the class to be laid down. -

They are in different countries, and they are not spelled or pronounced the same. -

Something to consider, is that given the leaked name for the Tier 9 BB (Lion), there won't be a Lion Battlecruiser when they get around to releasing them (be it as a branch of BB's, a separate tree, or as individual premiums). So anyone that wants to see Battlecruiser Lion in the game better get agitating to change the Tier 9 name now, before it's too late. -

It's too bad they didn't follow up on the new 15" design. They could have replaced all the 15/42's with a newer, lighter, more effective (presumably) gun. There's an idea WG, give all the British 15" BB the option to upgrade to the new 15" if you introduce it into the game. Maybe even the Iron Dukes, since you don't mind replacing 14" with 15". Something else to consider, is that given the leaked name for the Tier 9 BB (Lion), there won't be a Lion Battlecruiser when they get around to releasing them (be it as a branch of BB's, a separate tree, or as individual premiums). You're NOT allowed to sacrifice the younger players to RNGesus! Wait until they get older, they will probably still be virgins.

In reference to the older 15/42 gun, according to Navweapons: Note: It is often asked if the British ever planned to use these guns for the King George V battleships of World War II. The answer is that they did not, but there was some investigation into using a new design, the "all steel" 15"/45 (38.1 cm) Mark II gun. -

They add the files to patch(s), so supertesters can play them in game before releasing them. You may encounter the ships (7-10) while playing after the next patch. Since we haven't even seen anything specific on 3-6 (other than the rumored names [3= Bellerophon {Dreadnought as Premium?}, 4=Orion, 5=Iron Duke, and 6=Queen Elizabeth]). They may not even come up for supertesting until 0.6.8. Which would still leave them plenty of time for Gamescom in August. -

There has NOT been an OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!! There has only been a LEAK!!! The information from SEA is ONLY a LEAK, NOT AN ANNOUNCEMENT. Don't expect an announcement until July. It will be an announcement when it shows up on the news section of the website.
