Kamikaze R is for sale, but it's way overpriced. The Kamikaze (not r version) was for sale last month on the Asian server for about the same price. The difference is that they included 2,000 doubloons for that price. If they were doing that (for this price) I'd buy in an instant, but the blue cammo isn't worth the price of 2,000 doubloons.

Which gives more points to win a game, a kill or cap? I've heard that a cap is worth the same as 2 kills but nothing official.
-
I wasn't, I was asking a legitimate question, since I don't see it specified anywhere what the points are for killing or for caping.

The 'Wyoming; in the game is actually the Arkansas. Wyoming was used as a gunnery training ship. You think Texas had AA. http://s102.photobucket.com/user/mattz281le/media/WOW/USS_Wyoming_gunnery_training_ship_1944_zps5t9fp65y.jpg.html http://s376.photobucket.com/user/Teitoku_Yamamoto/media/asdfsdf_zps86j1x4wp.png.html -
There is also the fact that in co-op even the bots occasionally kill each other. If the bots have accidents, people should be cut a little more slack.

Tier 4 ships can see tier 6 opponents. And if part of a division, they can see whatever the highest tier ship in the division sees. I've seen tier 1 ships on the north map with tier 6 opponents because they were in a division.

The second gun (130mm) fires at the same rate and tracks at 24sec, when you have the capt. skills basic firing training and expert marksman. It also has a flatter trajectory. Otherwise there is no reason. The description says they replaced the original guns with 'smaller-caliber artillery that had a longer range and a higher rate of fire'. The 130mm as depicted in the game has neither. They have the exact same range as the 152mm, and they fire slower (without basic firing training). Of the two skills you should get expert marksman before basic firing training, as it will improve the rotation of the 152mm from 36sec to 31.5sec. They should improve the 130mm gun to match the description.

Research ships with doubloons

NO. If you use doubloons to buy ships from the tech tree the price does NOT include a port slot. If you buy it from the premium store the price DOES include a port slot. -

I know, they'll create a Balkans navy line. Combining Austro-Hungary, Greece, and Turkey (or Turkey, and Greece if you prefer). Gets Austro-Hungarian Navy, Greek Navy (including former American Pre-Dreadnoughts), and Turkish navy. Since some of the Turkish and Greek battleships were also models used by Britain and France Wg can kill 2 birds by reskinning some of their ships. In fact 2 of the Turkish BB's were at Jutland on the British side. LOL -

I agree on speed, and probably better guns (at least newer design). Graf Spee only had 80mm of armor (except 140mm on guns), while Invincible had 152mm (178 on guns). Though I will give Graf Spee much better underwater protection and secondaries. -

Some interesting info around the world

Look at the first generation British Battlecruisers. Their protection was comparable to the cruisers they were designed to fight. They both had a broadside of 6 12' vs 11' guns. And comparable speed 25 vs 28 kts. I'm saying time moved on and Graff Spee would be toast since she can't leave the map and has to fight. HMS Invincible for instance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Invincible_%281907%29 -

Compare the stats. Speed, guns, and lack of protection. First generation British Battlecruisers were designed to hunt down and kill cruisers, regular and armored. They had battleship size guns and cruiser level armor. They had a speed of 25+ knots and that was enough because the cruisers they were built to kill were no faster than 23-24 kts. They were supposed to avoid combat with enemy battleships (18-21 kts). They were supposed to be more powerful than enemy cruisers and run away from anything they could not outfight. Just like Graf Spee. The thing is that thanks to improvements in technology cruisers got much faster. Look at the Tier 4, 5, and 6 cruisers for example. They are all (except for Svietlana) a good 7+ knots faster than Graf Spee. So now she can't out run enemy cruisers, and has to fight them. She only has 6 11' guns in 2 turrets. Can you imagine what will happen against 2 or 3 Omaha's (or Phoenix's or Kumas' for that matter). -

The problem is, Graf Spee is a pre WW1 battlecruiser in a WW2 world. Her stats are very close to British first generation battlecruisers (with even LESS protection) plus torpedoes. The problem with that is the Tier 4 + 5 + 6 cruisers she goes up against are faster (except for Svietlana), and at least as well protected, and their guns can fire almost as far. On top of that because of map limitations she can't even run away. Sure she can gobble up Tier 2's and most Tier 3's but Tier 4+'s will give her a big problem. -
I have 2 reasons for not buying the bundle. First, I already have a Warspite. Second, I don't want 30 days of premium time. I have other things I do and most of the 30 days would go to waste. When I buy premium time it's usually 1 to 3 days at the most so I know I will use it. Until they come up with a way to use premium time on my schedule ( a day or three as I have time to play the game) I will continue to do so. As for the 'Jutland' flag They should give it to anyone who currently has a Warspite in their port.

Apparently you don't need to kill anyone to be labeled a 'team killer'. Was given TK label for 'friendly fire' No one died as a result. 2 incidents in battle. 1st Was shooting at dd, and hit other ship that crossed in front of it (just before dd torped and sank it). 2nd Was firing at different target and in meanwhile allied ship had glomed onto my side (unknown to me) and I hear 'don't fire at your allies', then a notice that as disciplinary action for 'friendly fire' I've been given TK status. They really need to dial it back a bit.

The border is too close to features (and caps) on the map. More than once I've been forced into the boarder while trying to maneuver.

So, having a ship glued to my ship (unknown to me) and me shooting at an enemy several klicks away is shooting my own team by your estimation? If I had shot an ally, and someone had died as a result, that would be one thing, but that didn't happen. They went from one extreme, where You had to have a replay to prove TK activity to calling TK for almost everything.

The following ships will be added to the tech tree for purchase with doubloons with the next patch. So be patient. The WW2 Black sea Dreadnought Sevastopol was one of the Baltic Dreadnoughts that had traveled to the Black Sea. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_battleship_Sevastopol_%281911%29 The last of the original Black Sea Dreadnoughts, was used by the White forces to evacuate the Crimea, and ended up being scraped in Tunisia to pay for her docking fees. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_battleship_Imperator_Aleksandr_III -

There were two classes of Russian BB's. Baltic and Black sea. The Emperess Mariya class. Interestingly enough the Black sea Battleships had heaver armor than the Baltic sea battleships, even though the Baltic sea Ships were up against the Germans, and the Black sea ships were only facing the Turks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperatritsa_Mariya-class_battleship -

The next 'Russian' Premium BB. They can re-skin Warspite (and change the armour a bit) and ta-da... Archangelisk! -
