Yeah I will train up a 19 point captain in the Atlanta for it. I have over 1 million free XP to convert too which I am going to do sometime this month as I want the Conqueror too.

I can't wait till WG do a desperate cash grab and offer it for public sale Unfortunately that was before my time, but I would buy it if it came up for sale. What is your commander build? I assume you have a 19 point commander in her?

I have selected the random container option 75 times in a row now and not had a single super container. It has mostly been garbage like the 4 x November Echo Setteseven. Does anyone know what the % chance of a super-container is?

I remember when I got the Yamato I was like oh [edited]yes I’m going to rape everything and then in my first game I got SIX hits on a Minotaur and all over them over penetrated. Those guns are the kings of over penetration. I especially hate how it’s useless against DDs where you get three hits and they all over penetrate and do crap all damage and now you got a huge reload time and a DD steaming full speed for you for an imminent anal rape by torpedo. Then again I do love those moments when the stars align, the virgins sing, the blind monks pray, the force is in balance and RNGJesus smiles on you and you get four citadels and delete a full HP cruiser from the game only a minute into the battle.

I still find it really OP and as someone who plays mostly BBs I know the pain of getting three fires then extinguishing them only to be set on fire again as soon as the action time ends. Now I’ve also felt the utter joy of doing it too ?

Hey guys really enjoying playing my Warspite at the moment, which I have made a close range brawling secondary build with the following: Equipment: 1. Main Armaments Modification 1, 2. Damage Control System Modification 1, 3. Aiming Systems Modification 1, 4. Damage Control System Modification 1. Commander Skills (Bert Dunkirk): Tier I = Priority Target, Tier II = Master Marksman, Tier III = Basic Fire Training, Tier IV = Advanced Fire Training. Signals: Hotel Yankee (Ramming), November Foxtrot (Consumables), Zulu (Credits), India Bravo Terrathree (Service costs), Zulu Hotel (Commander XP), Red Dragon (XP, Commander XP), Dragon (Commander XP), Hydra (XP, Commander XP, Free XP). Camouflage: Pi-Day (Commander XP). In a 60,000 dmg game I am racking up 30,000-35,000 commander XP per battle. However I was thinking about moving her over to a HE spam build like below: Commander Skills (Bert Dunkirk): Tier I = Priority Target, Tier II = Master Marksman, Tier III = Demolition Expert, Tier IV = Inertia Fuse for HE Shells. What do you guys think is it worth trying out?

Been trying to buy the British Captain and some Bismark boxes a few times now using different payment methods and each time I get the "something went wrong" dialog box. Doesn't make much difference though as I can't get in the actual game itself but I wanted to load it with boxes and doubloons before I got into it.

two games ago I went one on one with a Bayern at point blank range in a Kraken game for me (check WoWS-Numbers - the game will be my record game in a Warspite with a >100k dmg game). Yamato sucks at point blank when the gun depression is not low enough to hit cruisers or DDs.

Wellllll I got the Warspite and I think it is an amazing ship especially at top tier, when it's against tier 8s it gets spanked a little so you need to sit deep in the pack, it's not like a Tirpitz which can YOLO in some cases but is like the Tirpitz in that it gets more dangerous the closer you get to it. Also I wanna know where the new yank crates are....

I bought it anyway it's only 20 quid after all

Just got back into the game and magically premium shop is now working for me too. Is Warspite worth it as a crew trainer for Conqueror captain?

That's exactly why I am here, I couldn't stand the acid chat and venomous community that exists in World of Tanks anymore. I was spending about 300 Euros a month on World of Tanks and I still have something like 70,000 gold on my account but I just don't play it anymore except for 1 or 2 games every 2-3 weeks. In other news I just noticed there is premium captains in the store just now so I am going to get the British captain for the Conqueror I am going to use Free XP to just get from scratch (no grinding at all). Don't know whether to get the American captain too or not, I don't really need him.

welcome to the game mate, I don't know if you played/ play WoT too but generally WoWS community is much nicer.

I only take them to try and get the Free XP drops, I don't need credits (I run premium account with premium ships and if I need more I will just buy doubloons) and I don't need signals (I have a crap load already and if I need more I just buy them from store for the economic ones).

Hi again all, I have now fully ground my way through the Japanese Battleship line up to the Izumo. I have the free XP built up to skip the Izumo straight to Yamato, so far the grind is completely painless and my favourite ships on the line were Fuso and Nagato. I am just grinding out the credits required for Yamato on my Tirpitz. When I was planning out the Yamato build I was going to use it as a mid-range bow tanker since two of it's three turrets are on the front. I don't know if that's the way to play it as Nagato and Amagi seem to be long range citadel snipers, as soon as Amagi comes up against a Tirpitz in close quarters Amagi stands no chance. Anyway here goes so any advice/ comments are welcome: Commander Build (14 points): Preventative Maintenance, Expert Marksman, Basic Fire Training, Advanced Fire Training, Manual Fire Control for Secondary Armament. Ship Upgrades: Main Armament 1, Damage Control System Modification 1, Secondary Battery Modification 2, Damage Control System Modification 2, Concealment System Modification 1, Secondary Battery Modification 3. Consumables: Damage Control Party II, Repair Party II, Spotting Aircraft I.
