Guys... cheat suspicions should go to support. Replays would potentially name and shame someone if there really would be a cheat at work. What we can do, if the OP is interested, is explain how certain situations happen. We shouldn't play private investigators. What I already can say: There is no cheat that allows to modify shell flight height or where they hit. That's all calculated on the server side and no matter what the client is telling the server isn't important. Hacking the server, to get the exact game ID of your session and match, and to inject code into it, might not be impossible but it is very veeeeery unlikely. If a cheater was able to do that, he could just as well make himself unsinkable, boost his ships speed to a hundred knots or more, give his shells a flight time of near zero and many things more. Some ships are simply more precise then others. And you don't need a direct line of sight for combat. Ship guns are like artillery weapons. If someone else spots a target, then you can shoot it.

Those are tools to enhance / change the graphic appearence of the game. They inject .dll files and redirect function calls to those instead of the regular DirectX ones. Judging by some reports I have seen some older driver tools might be blacklisted as well. I have no idea how truthfull those reports are so take that with a grain of salt. If you run a graphic card with old Catalyst Control Center from ATI/AMD (AMD Radeon 6xxx series or older) and enabled some feature through the driver instead of the ingame settings, then that might also be a cause. In such a case it might be time to upgrade your hardware.

What kind of penalty? Has your ship icon and playername turned pink? That's not a penalty. It's a warning. You should have a message in port that tells you for how many battles that will last. You can also see it in the detail tab of the after battle reports. If you recieved a warning by mail, please contact support for further details. Do you run ReShade/SweetFX? Those and similar tools are forbidden for Wargamings multiplayer titles, as they use similar / the same mechanisms as cheats would do. Support will not tell you what mod caused the warning, as that could provide information for programmers of illegal mods to circumvent that detection. This warning is, as far as I am aware, eternal.

@Sehales @MrConway Would it be to much to ask to be informed about changes to the website and forums if they need for us to allow previously unecessary third party domains to use their functionality? We suddenly need to allow scripts from the domain gcore.lu for proper forum functionality. Until late last night that wasn't the case. Yes I know that it is used as a content delivery network. To be informed about such a change would still help a lot. I thought the forums are borked as nothing worked properly anymore. From adding likes, minimizing the mod-forum in the forum overview, to creating reports, or even new posts like this one. Some of those didn't work at all, others only very limited. It is really frustrating to not know why that is suddenly the case.

True enough for both statements. I do regularly advice "advanced users" to protect themself in such a way though. Many internet annoyances and dangers can be avoided if you simply prevent the scripts that cause them from running. It needs some figuring out what to allow and what to block for a while until all favorite sites are back to working conditions but I'd say that the gained security is worth it. Yes, it is. But usually those sites don't suddenly change something. It is always annoying when that happens. I did stop using some websites in the past when they suddenly added scripts to their own domain to unblock formerly blocked content. While I can figure out which specific scripts to block too, it is usually not worth the effort and I simply look for a less annoying alternative.

I'm really confused by this thread. Main guns can be destroyed. Torpedo launchers can be destroyed. Secondary guns can be destroyed. They are all means to defend yourself against other ships. As soon as aircraft come into play the AA has to be indestructable. At best it might be temporarily disabled. But please not for to long, a second wave of planes might arrive within the next 90 seconds. Sorry. I don't get it.

Most players, if they had a choice, wouldn't want to lose their AA even during the old RTS CV gameplay. Nobody likes it if their vessel suddenly loses performance. Your poll is therefore meaningless.

Yes, I did. Though I was the one who initialized the whole process of contacting the winner of my gift and invited lup3s along for the private conversation. The January missions news post has just been pushed to the frontpage again. Unchanged. The US are known for running extra events like this, that do not follow the normal ingame mission behavior. I have my doubts that we will see the same or similar mission on the EU server.

For a starter, you might want to stop calling them special. We all know that you mean that to be insulting. That alone is a good reason to recieve a ban, as insults are not tolerated. Game chat, even in combat, is now monitored. It no longer needs reports to get chat bans but they help to identify regular offenders. I never knew that "normal" people need to insult those they believe to be of lesser skill within a harmless game. Guess I'm not normal then. If you want to know what caused the ban, you can contact support and ask them.

And the three days before those. Another observation: they are post and run threads. The OP never returns to his or her CV rant threads. So any reply aimed at the OP is wasted space and time.

First of all, you recieved a warning not a penalty. Being pink is no punishment. Unless it happened to you multiple times in which case I wonder why you didn't investigate the source of your crashes. If it happens that often to you, you'll be banned to co-op games for a limited number of battles. Most players can play all day long without a single crash. If the game crashed, you have the quarter of the total runtime of the current battle to get into the game without punishment. That can be a timeframe of up to five minutes. That's usually enough to restart the client or even your PC.

I think that it is amazing that all I got from the christmas boxes, no matter if they were gifted to me, from a bonus code, or if they came as a mission reward, were new year streamer camos. I haven't seen a different content even once. Congratulations towards everyone who recieved something else.
