That's why I clarified that your "seems" isn't accurate. See the other replies on how to determine if the bonus has been applied or not. If need be use a pocket calculator and see for yourself if you recieved more then the default 5 % of the total XP as FreeXP. If the bonus really isn't applied open a support ticket, attach the replay of the match where it happened, and submit a proper bug report please.

Question: How is the game supposed to differentiate between an accidental and a deliberate disconnect? Answer: It can't. If the connection goes down because of provider or PC issues, or if someone deliberatly pulls the plug, it will look exactly the same to the game server. There is literally no difference in the logs. Your penalty isn't really one unless you are now limited to co-op play. Being pink is just a warning.

Clan functionality works fine for me. Do you have any old mods installed that might interfere (though I'd have no idea how they'd interfere with hyperlinks)?
-
It works fine in those cases too. There is no different behavior depending on the game mode or battle result. You could argue that the signals are wasted in such a case, as they are not as effective, due to the lower general reward caused by of those situations, as they could be. But they work just fine and provide the properly calculated bonus.

[QUIZ] Meet the Ship of your Dreams
Egoleter replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
If I have to pay for her then she's not the right ship for me. Modern emancipated ships can earn money too. -
Normal freeXP = 5 % of the total XP earned If the freeXP earned is higher then 5 %, then the signal / camo works. You can also confirm this by hovering your mouse courser over the freeXP value in the detail tab of the after battle result screen.

Possibility to surrender to end match quicker
Egoleter replied to Beastofwar's topic in General Discussion
Keep fighting. Even the worst situations can sometimes still result in a win. I'd neither offer nor accept any surrender. -
burning dubloons without knowing that ( ! )
Egoleter replied to remenberMYname's topic in General Discussion
You could have read on and notice my later post. Or at least notice that I did not try to correct his spelling or anything like that. I'm not trying to insult him there (unlike what you did to me in your reply) but made a serious suggestion. The user has shown quite clearly in the past that he has problems with understanding the english language. A language version of the game he can understand would help him a lot. -

Egoleter replied to remenberMYname's topic in General Discussion
To add to what I wrote above and to actually be on-topic: I agree that we should at least have a global setting for consumables to use up our doubloons. I'll personally will never get into a situation where I accidentally spend money on signals or other consumables, due to the many hundreds of standard signals I have yet still looking very carefully which ones I mount before each battle. But I can see how I might be the exception here. -
Taking down all of the posts calling for the removal of the CV update doesn't make the people change their minds
Egoleter replied to Shlomo_Ishtov's topic in General Discussion
Luckily that will never happen. There are official statements that this chance is gone. You will never understand and accept that. You'll keep pestering us and circumvent and discuss moderator decisions while doing so (which btw is a fundamentally stupid idea to do on any forum). There are two scenarios I can see here: You shut up or start to make constructive suggestions. That way the CV rework could be made to work in a balanced way as Wargaming is envisioning it. or You keep doing what you are doing right now and get a temporary ban for it one day. If that doesn't teach you that the other option is the preferable one you'll continue. That will earn you further bans and one day those are no longer temporary. You'll then start creating secondary accounts to make your message heard. You'll keep doing that until the day you grow tired of your threads and accounts being removed and we finally get rid of you. Either way... No one will ever bow down to your wisdom, as you skillfully managed to show us that you have none. -

Egoleter replied to remenberMYname's topic in General Discussion
Oh... you again. Might I ask, as so many things are unclear to you despite being crystal clear to all the rest of the server, what your primary language is? I see that you are struggling with english. Maybe instead of complaing about all the things you don't understand and blaming Wargaming for it, you should request a language version of the game that you can actually understand. -
A solution to all issues - Double Random games
Egoleter replied to loppantorkel's topic in General Discussion
That's not really better then any of the other split matchmaker suggestion threads that popped up the past week. -

Strategien die Spieleanbieter verwenden um Spieler zu binden
Egoleter replied to Fischfluesterer's topic in Die Messe (Offtopic)
Was soll die Show? -
33 votes are not a representitive number for the community. Even more so as the users voting are not really random and coming themself from the limited user group that is the forumites. As a side note. Stop spamming the link to this thread. Apparently the message was recieved.
-
You are not replying. You are spamming a link. Btw for your fifth clan recruitment thread (which is also spamming too... one clan = one thread). If you would reply, or actually care, you would look if the OP already found a clan. You would read their posts. You would reply to them with individually created messages. You are just spamming. Which is the worst type of advertisment in existence. @Awesome5auce But to be honest... this thread while not ment to be harmfull, it isn't helpfull either. It is posted in the wrong section (you are not looking for a clan) and clearly meant to attack the behavior of other users. We have moderators to deal with that. Flag the spam. Don't reward the spammer with extra attention (yes, I'm guilty as charged now).

Currently there is no way to adapt and overcome. Right now your planes just die. The idea behind the CV rework is fine. The implementation needs more work and the hotfix did not improve the situation. It looks like Wargaming never considered uptiered CVs in any of their scenarios.
-
You have no idea how many users who voted actually paid before. That you gave them the last option doesn't mean they used it. Also 56 user votes are not a representitive mass for the WoWs community. They might be if they were randomly picked from the recurrent spenders of the whole community pool. But they are not. Wargaming will have the real numbers. The best you'll ever have is guesses. And the best you can ever do with your guesses is to spread FUD. In short: Your calculations, right now, are worthless. They are based purely on assumptions. You have no clue what those voters spend.

My feedback about the current CVs after I played a couple of battles with (all planes upgraded) and against them. There are three scenarios that really matter. 1. The carrier is top tier. In such a case the carrier has some influence on the battle. Comparable to other ships. Destroyers stand no chance if they play like they used to do before the patch. Exception are the T-X carriers. They seem to be a bit on the stronger side. Especially the Hakuryu which is near OP. 2. The carrier is medium tier. If the tier spread is somewhat equal it is acceptable. Be prepared to not have much influence. Avoid higher tier ships at all costs. They'll blow your planes out of the skies. All other targets are good. Lower tier ships can sometimes be easy prey. 3. The carrier is low tier. Unless only very few higher tier ships are present you could just as well not be in the match at all. Your influence is negligible. You can spot as long as your planes survive within the enemy flak. A few seconds. Attack runs will end with all planes lost during or immediatly after the first attempt. It's the most frustrating experience you can have. Your planes are killed as effortless as flies caught in a flytrap. Higher tier ships are almost immune to you. The rework as such is ok but there needs to be a lot more balancing to make CVs playable when uptiered. The lower the tier of the carrier the worse it gets.

Spam is not a suitable way to voice critzism. Spam is just noise. Making compelling arguments instead of trying to shout down the rest of the community might be harder but it is much more rewarding.

Don't color code your post (if copy and pasted, accept the editors offer to turn it into plain text). I can't read a single word of what you just wrote.

Look at the dependency arrows. You'll need to research the hull first. That research cost is added if you want to research the torps first. Edit: To many ninjas online today.

Essentially the same complaint as https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/112605-a-letter-to-wg/ just with an added poll. Being repetitive is bad, mkay.

Targeted nerf of single premium ship is important precedent and warning finger
Egoleter replied to RAYvenMP's topic in General Discussion
Looks like that applies to you. I commented on how the thread reads, not what the supposed point of the thread is.
