Except for the special skills attributed to him Yamamoto functions exactly the same way as any other captain. You can use him on any japanese ship you like. Including the ARP and Dragon ships if you own them. As long as you move him to a premium ship, like the Atago, and back to the ship he was trained for, you can do so freely and as often you want. If you move him to another silver- / techtree-ship you will need to retrain him like any other captain.

The roleplay might be awesome but if the rest of the game isn't I'd have no interest in it. It simply didn't feel right and no amount of roleplay can compensate that. Did anyone ever manage to mod a usable joystick control into the game?

Only played the single player story back when it was released. Never liked that the flight mode was mouse and keyboard only and the point and click gameplay that resulted from it. As it was supposed to be a successor of Starlancer I was massivly dissapointed because of that, as well as the lack of any reference to the the events in its predecessor, and never touched the game again.

Meine Stats helfen mir mich selbst zu verbessern. Wer mich lieb fragt und ein berechtigtes Interesse daran hat bekommt sie auch zu sehen. Ob berechtigt oder nicht, entscheide ich. Alle anderen haben auf meine Stats keinen Anspruch. Wer mich wegen seiner Vorurteile gegenüber Spielern mit versteckten Stats in einem Gefecht unterschätzt ist selber schuld. Gibt ja genügend, auch in diesem Thread wieder, die diese Vorurteile hegen und Pflegen. Ein klarer Vorteil für mich.

I prefer RNG over a grand price that is unreachable. At least with RNG there is a chance, however slim it may be. Of course both solutions are bad and the best one would be an event were you can actually reach the best reward by playing well. But it seems that this option is not being considered by WG.

If you type something in chat and someone doesn't like it you can get reported for it (tab key to open team list, right click on player name, report -> chat misbehavior, or on the team tab of the end result screen). A single report will do nothing. A single player reporting you multiple times will do nothing. All you might recognize is a lower karma. Several reports from various players within an unkown timeframe or an unkown number of battles will trigger the automated chat ban. Such automated bans will always be for a single day. Longer bans are only issued if WG staff reviews your chat history (they might have an eye on you due to repeated automated bans) or a report send in by ticket was about extremly offensive chat behavior. Repeatedly getting bans will apparently lower the treshold of the number of reports it needs to get you chat banned again. It's possible that the chat ban will be triggered after a battle in which you didn't write anything. Please review your chat behavior in the battles before that if such a thing happens, you probably got reported for those. There are no exact details available in regards to the treshold or timeframe nor will we ever get them.

What about the trust that the developer will provide a balanced playing field? It looks to me like that isn't important to you at all. You keep saying it is a trust thing that payed for ships are kept unchanged. Does that mean that you also agree that underperforming premium ships should not be buffed as that would change them?

@MrConway When I wrote that, including the ping, I hoped for more then a like on the post. I'd still like to have the above answered. You know me. You've seen me do it before: I might keep pestering you about this for months to come.

That's the other extreme. Once some players commited to kill the bots and therefor the BBs in the secondary goals, they forget to leave in time. I'll edit this into my above post. But in my experience in 7 out 10 matches, if I don't division for this scenario, everyone except me leaves for the exit the moment it pops up. That's why I stopped playing it as a solo player.

Many players leave the moment the exit zones show up. It makes the scenario very frustrating for those who know that it is better to stay. If half your team or more enters the exit zone the missions ends and you will fail those mission goals. The ships you are looking for are entering the map from the north-west, after you destroyed the naval base. You will need to head back to where you started if you want to encounter them. Leave for the exit immediatly after killing the secondary objective ships (highlighted with a red glimmer on the minimap). All other bots are irrelevant. You can not take them all out before the time runs up.

I move them up the tree. I'll pay the 200k silver to accelerate their training and then use elite commander XP to compensate the rest. They usually get a well trained captain from another ship. No need for a fix captain in most cases. Mostly on single ships were they fit best. They might fall into the "well trained captain" category though and move to premiums sometimes. Only exception to the above are the ARP captains. Those only command my ARP ships.
