RESULTS – Battle of the Philippine Sea
Egoleter replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Thanks. Saw the ship restrictions now. Don't know why I missed them despite searching for that info. At those tiers it is utterly impossible to get this base XP in co-op. Thank you. That explains it. -
0.8.7 Extra Time anstelle Draw

RESULTS – Battle of the Philippine Sea
Egoleter replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Do we need to play ships of their respective navy or does the base XP of battles with any ship count? Edit: my bad... I was blind. Why the inclusion of Co-op? It is almost impossible to even gain the 750 base XP for the US side. So why bother including it at all? -
BBs, CVs, und CAs werden plötzlich unsichtbar
Egoleter replied to Kaleu_Luke's question in Neueinsteiger - Fragen
World of Warships in groben Zügen. -

Can we have 4/5 secs to esc from a Battle queue?
Egoleter replied to RedOnly's topic in General Discussion
Never bothered me. If I happen to drop with the wrong setup of signals or without a camo, then it is my own fault for not checking properly before hitting the button. I can take responsibility for my own actions. Other circumstances, outside the game, can happen at any time, so an additional time window wouldn't really help. -

Wo? Ich will auch.

Fighter consumables are utterly useless
Egoleter replied to mantiscore's topic in General Discussion
That's not really skill involvement. As CVs only ever have one squad in the air, unlike the past, there is no skill involved in selecting targets. -
Fighter consumables are utterly useless

I actually agree. More skill involvement in the usage of AA measures would be great. Now the question is: How do you implement it? -
Fighter consumables are utterly useless
Egoleter replied to mantiscore's topic in General Discussion
I just realized something: 1. Yes, I have seen complete squadron wipes. I even caused them myself. 2. You are a hopeless case. This is at least your sixth CV rework hate thread. They all contain the exact same repeated BS. -
Fighter consumables are utterly useless
Egoleter replied to mantiscore's topic in General Discussion
No. Just plain: No. What am I even arguing here for? This belongs in the CV Feedback discussion. This thread here is about the fighter consumable not about the same hyperbole we get to hear again and again in all the other CV hate threads. Stop derailing your own thread. Back to main topic: Fighter planes can work quite well. They can stop the first attack too. But as they circle around your ship, and the atacking planes being able to start their attack run from outside the patrol area, they are not always in a position to do so. Fighter planes also have a turn radius and flight speed set by the game rules. They can't teleport themself into positions where they are best used. So it needs some knowledge on when to start your consumable best and a lot of luck to use them as a proper defense. -
Fighter consumables are utterly useless
Egoleter replied to mantiscore's topic in General Discussion
1 to 1.5 minutes for ONE plane. For a whole squad of 6 to 8 planes it takes ages. Planes are nowhere near unlimited. I recognized that easily and I barely ever play a CV and mostly only encounter them with my other ships instead. That unlimited argument is complete hyperbole. -
Gamemode Proposal: Nation vs Nation Team Battles
Egoleter replied to Captn_Crap's topic in General Discussion
Nations are not balanced against each other. Ships are balanced for mixed nation games. That's why we don't get nation versus nation battles. -
The AFK, recidivists and constants
Egoleter replied to Silver_Leviathan's topic in General Discussion
A single user does not respect the rules ... Everyone, you heard it right there, that means it's time for some anarchy. Do you even realize how stupid that argument is? Also: Two wrongs don't make a right. Support can be contacted and they can be convinced to act if you provide evidence. If support still fails, you can contact some Wargaming staff via private messages to take another look at your ticket. Those staff members are rather easy to find, as they post here regularly. Your post and your justification for it have no place here. -
This isn't one of those onesided "add more realism, nerf DDs" threads, or is it?

So you want complete immunity in such a situation?

Commander retraining unfair extra-charging
Egoleter replied to SEN_SEN_Channel_Portugue's topic in General Discussion
No, not really. You could train a second captain instead if you don't want to pay the cost and use the ship frequently enough to keep retraining your captains. I have at least a 10 point captain on any ship I care about and plenty of 3 - 12 point captains in reserve. -

Once I get the time for it. Sure. Unless someone else provides a satisfying answer before that.

Then don't mention the stuff about cheating. If it really wouldn't play a role at all, you could have just posted the replay with the simple comment: "I don't know what's going on at X point, could someone please explain?" Mentioning that stuff, even with comments like yours, implies a cheating suspicion, and might it ever be so small. It also creates a certain picture in the mind of your readers and they start looking for such things.
-
The obvious answer is that you shouldn't name and shame. If suspect a cheater: Ticket to support with evidence. The forum users can't do anything about it. Most here seem to like a little bit of drama but they can't help.

Go to your replay folder. Right-click on the replay you want to open. From the context menue chose "open with". Depending on your system either chose the "WorldofWarships.exe" or the "WorldofWarships64.exe" in the "bin32" or "bin64" folders in your game directory. Make sure that the mark is set on "always open the selected file type with this program" (not exactly sure if it is named like that on an english version of Win7 but is should be clear what I meant when you see it).
