Rename for what? It should be called World of Censorships (WC)
Egoleter replied to Good_name_354652's topic in Other
No, we do not need players glorifying warcrimes by playing around with and presenting names that reference them. If directly or by playing around with the letters doesn't matter, when it sounds the same when spoken. That's not censorship, it's common sense. And the forums are not the place to make an appeal. -
Click on the savage battle banner in the top left corner of the harbor screen. Those missions are part of the event objectives.

Opinions on an accidental friendly torp
Egoleter replied to UncappingBadger's topic in General Discussion
Without a replay we can neither confirm not deny your story. And in the end it doesn't matter. As far as checking your surroundings go, this is what I do when I'm in battle: Check the minimap for target and ally positioning. Check any potential target I found on the minimap for thread assessment by looking around or at them. Check the minimap again if an enemy could have managed to sneak around somewhere. I do not check for friendly torps. I shouldn't have to. If I see them I will assume that they are meant for an enemy target and have been dropped without being a danger to me. The system doesn't need to check who is at fault. It is your ammunition. You took a risk, however slim you thought it might be, and your teammate paid the price for it. So now you carry the pink color as a reminder that taking a risk is not always the best option. If you can't predict what another player is doing, and don't want to take the risk, then hold your fire until you are certain that the firing lane is clear or move into a better position. Don't take away a teammates ability to maneuver freely, no matter the reason the teammate has for it. -
Opinions on an accidental friendly torp
Egoleter replied to UncappingBadger's topic in General Discussion
In regards to the thread title: There are no friendly torps. They will always hurt you once you make physical acquaintence. I guess an accidental friendly torp is one fired by an enemy hitting an enemy. It still wasn't friendly to anyone, though you might think it was as it hurt your foe by accident. -
Opinions on an accidental friendly torp
Egoleter replied to UncappingBadger's topic in General Discussion
Of course they remain your responsibility in such cases. Why would you torp from that far out into a direction where your ally can appear? If your ally is that much closer to the enemy then you are, he is busy fighting the enemy and the last thing your ally needs are some backstabbing torps limiting his moves. If your suggestion would be made true, and WG once considered it for a very brief moment, then teamkilling by torps would be made real easy. Just travel away from your teammates and start sending out those fishes as fast as they can reload. -
You can always re-open the ticket if you feel it wasn't answered properly. The suggestion was already made by others. There's also this thread which makes a community manager aware of a wrongly handled ticket or errors in customer support: https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/106897-customer-support-feedback/ If you however chose to give up after the first try failed, then you apparently don't really care all that much.

Only if you decrease the accuracy for firing at targets you can't see yourself in general. So for everyone who is hiding behind islands too. Same rules for everyone. Or you could try to learn how to effectivly shoot targets hiding in smoke. Oh... and here is a dedicated suggestions thread. Normally hard to miss but I guess your accuracy was somehow reduced.

Egoleter replied to xxxxWarDogxxx's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen

The 50.000 XP on the stage two is with all signals, premium time, camo bonus, and first victory of the day bonus included. Base XP is without everything. You can see your base XP of a battle on the team result screen.

Are you grinding (or will grind) USS Tier IX DD "Benham" for 800 "Fuel Tokens"?
Egoleter replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
A little late but still... Congratulations. Luckily I continued playing just enough to complete the daily missions, so I did not lose any progress. But yeah... I've not been thrilled to play the past two days. I'm done with the money. I'll only touch savage battles again for some of the objectives of the next two weeks. -
Well... that's a selfmade problem only you can solve by becoming more active in other subforums.

ST, Naval Training Center, free Premium Consumables and improvement of the matchmaker.

Not what we hoped for, the re-grind is still an issue, but finally a good step forward. Thank you for making that decision on a holiday. -

Comments where removed in large numbers for posting simple things like "R.I.P WoWs". Not an insult. No personal attack. Just a sentiment of what the people think is going to happen to the game due to implementing NTC. And just because many people share that sentiment and repost it, it is no reason to censor it. That's what happened on the stream and it is not acceptable in any way. Because it adds up. And the performance boosts initially proposed where massive. Many smaller ones still add up. It creates a gap newer players will never be able to compensate, as it depends on seasons Wargaming has to announce and run. In the stream the 15 % hitpoint boost was compared to a single repair party usuage. Which would somehow be balanced by everyone now having premium consumables. Reality check: It would not be balanced by that. It is ON TOP OF THAT so it is unbalanced again. This is non-argument that you repeated several times in several places. It is an attempt to make fools of all of us. We see the reasoning and do not agree. The community as a whole does not agree. All our critizism achieved was an unknown reduction in bonuses, repeating non-logical arguments, and not addressing the real issues we mentioned. We do not want to regrind our lines. We do not want to lose access to ships we already unlocked. We do not want an imbalance between veterans and newbies that the new players can never catch up to. We do not want a mechanism that can be almost completly circumvented by spending money to gain ingame advantages others will need weeks or months to catch up to. That is pay to win. We do not want to see a competetive scene where you can't compete on equal ground if you do not spend lots of money or massive amount of grind time to get there. We do not want to see random battles that are decided by who has the most upgraded ships. All that and more is an issue with the NTC. All that and more has been pointed out almost from the get go and been completly ignored, or declared unimportant, in the update. Nothing of that can be removed by "some adjustments". It is a failure in the general nature of the idea. Our emotions do not boil high now because of us being unhappy with the announcment but because all our critizism is practically ignored. So either all you community managers failed to to provide our feedback properly, or the responsible party doesn't care about it. And as I do not believe that all CMs can fail so massivly on the same time it must be the later. And that's why we are angry. We get the impression that no matter what we do our opinion will not be considered. -
Suggestion to avoid future s... storm
Egoleter replied to SmokyButtons's topic in General Discussion
Just had an ingame survey. One single question to the survey. My vote was heavily influenced by the NTC announcements. -
About the earnable USS Texas from that mission...
Egoleter replied to MoveZig's topic in General Discussion
I have an update on that. After all the anger management I had to do today due to the NTC topic, I started the game again half an hour ago. They changed the mission. Ranked battles are now counted as well. -

Nope. Played several ranked battles and the mission shows no progress It is also stated as random and savage battles only in the ingame mission decription, which always trumps the article. -

ST, Naval Training Center, free Premium Consumables and improvement of the matchmaker.
Egoleter replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
Sorry to disagree with you here. But you are wrong. They are throwing smoke grenades. So they reduce the buffs. That's practically all the update by @Tanatoy told us. It didn't address any of the issues we posted so far. And if you listened to the stream just now it is quite evident that they will insist on implementing the whole thing and push it to the public test server. Once it is on the public test server it will transfer to the live build. That always happens unless there is a severe bug preventing that. So we will get it. No matter what. Wargaming has spoken. -

Egoleter replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
You are correct. It's more like you trampled on them. And I'm sorry in advance but I will not stay polite this time. I have always said that you should be treated with respect. It was a line I never crossed before. But if you do not return that respect in the slightest and ignore your communities wishes almost completly you forfeited that yourself. @MrConway @Crysantos @Tanatoy We don't really care if you switch to smaller buffs but more of them. It's still unnecessary buffs and a balance nightmare for us players. Not acceptable. As long as there are buffs to the ships and the need to grind a whole line again, the system is a failure from your players point of view. If you can't see that we do not like the system AT ALL you are blind to realities. But go ahead. Kill your own game. How does that fix the imbalance between new player and old players and those who do not want to grind a whole line AGAIN? Answer: It doesn't. The better idea would be to scrap it. Completly. Never ever think of it again. Your whole playerbase is telling you otherwise. Yet you chose to not listen. So not only are you blind but deaf on top of it. How ignorant can you be about what the community is telling you? There is no offset here. You are trying to create a logic where there is none. If all players have premium consumables, it is equality. Adding buffs on top of that forfeits that equality once more. You just exchanged one imbalance with another. How stupid do you think we are that we would not recognize that? No. Scrap it. It is one massive nail in the coffin of your game and the team behind it. Practically everyone in the active community who communicates with you is telling you that. Turn back as long as there is time. Don't turn this game into a graveyard of abondoned accounts. Don't kill this title by insisting on stupid decisions. Make a smart choice instead. Now go ahead and censor me like you are currently doing on the live stream (another stupid decision).
