I'd say it is pretty onesided. Most commentary is from former Iowa crewman, only once did we hear a japanese point of view. The japanese one was far more balanced and detailed then the US navymen ones, which literally in all cases was: "Yeah, we'd win of course". Which is then taken as the final answer for the opening question. A more detailed Wargaming video on Iowa can be found on their Youtube channel. Still very much onesided but far better then this piece and more then twice as long. Almost all content in the above linked new video is included in the old one. Not a good video. Nothing I'd recommend.

Managed to beat the 2750 base XP Twitch mission. For some reason the twitch missions are not listed in the battle result screen for me. Did others notice that too? A lot of flaming going on in my team but I didn't let this distract me from hunting the enemy DDs with my radar and capping the zones they previously occupied.

That would be quite a dramatic reduction in containers for me. I have more T-X ships then 19-pointers. Though I could promote a few with elite captain XP, I'd still be behind.

We don't get those for the WG anniversary. The anniversary you are looking for is the WoWs one. That's next month. We do not know if WG will do the same as the past two years for T-X owners. I sure hope so, as I increased my T-X by quite a few since then, but we do not know.

Friends. Share with them, play with them, laugh with them. Since thursday I had mostly defeats in random battles, yet I keep playing because it doesn't bother me. There is more to the game then winning. Edit 4 hours later: And right after this post my losing streak ended. Now I'm mostly winning again.

Learn to use the F-key quick commands. Hover over the enemy DD and click F3 and you'll send a chat command to focus this ship. It's still up to your teammates to follow that advice and you'll get disappointed more often then not. If you sit in your smoke, don't sit broadside to the enemy. Instead direct your DD towards or away from the most likely direction of incomming enemy torps. Better yet. Learn to lay your smoke as a decoy, then sit next to it or move somewhere else. You select the ship you want the captain to be on. Click on the empty captain window, select "from other ship" and chose the captain you want. That captain will need retraining for the new ship or some of his skill will work in a reduced state or even not at all. Retraining can be done in two ways. 1. You pay for it with doubloons. This immediatly retrains the captain completly for the new ship. 2. You retrain the captain by gaining XP for him. You can accelerate this by 50 % if you pay 200.000 credits. The XP can come from experience in battles, free XP, or elite captain XP. Please note that a captain will lose his spezialisation for his previous ship the moment you start retraining him. Premium ships are a good way to retrain captains, as you can apply any captain of the same nation the premium ship without retraining him. He will always work at 100 % on a premium ship. For that you do the following: 1. Place the captain on the new ship, where you later want him to be. The captain will start to get retrained. 2. Now move the captain to a premium ship. The captain is still in retraining for the ship you placed him on in step 1 but his skills will be at 100 % effectivness. 3. Once the captain is fully retrained, you move him back to the target ship. No further retraining is necessary unless you move him again to a different silver ship. Simple mathematics. You should have been tought that during your school days. Mostly, yes. They deal less damage. That's for several reasons. They are squishy and die fast. Their guns have a lower caliber (and therefore less damage). Enemies can spot your torps in various ways and avoid them. Average damage over all ships is therefore kinda meaningless. Average damage in comparison to the same ship class and tier, or even better with the exact same ship of the rest of the playerbase is a better way to look at it. And even then it doesn't tell a good story. It doesn't matter if you killed a 15k hitpoints DD or a 80k hitpoints BB, they are worth the same and the kill of the DD might contribute more to the win of your team the one of the BB depending on the match. Stats are there to improve yourself. To look for your weaknesses and work to improve on them. They always only tell half the story, as demonstrated by my damage example above.

This. And nothing else. Ships have always been accelerated in the game. I mean in real life you don't travel 50 miles in 20 minutes with a battleship but in the game you do. We had this since the very beginning, as far as I am told. We certainly had it for the past 3.5 years. So either your observation changed or your memory is fooling you. Either way: You are wrong.

No mission so far. In my whole clan there is no one that I know of who recieved one yet.

Of course it is my opinion. Never said otherwise. I have the choice to not like abuse, no matter if it is hurled at me or someone else. As decent human being I am able to transmit my messages in a proper way. Someone who forgets their manners the moment they are hidden behind an anonymous callsign has no right to tell me anything. What those people don't know... that anonymity is very much limited and hurling abuse at someone through the internet is just as much forbidden as it it would be on the streets in most nations. Anyone telling others to grow a thicker skin has no clue whatsoever either. It's not something about millenials or someone being weak or whatever. It is about being decent. It's not the victim that is at fault. Victim blaming is pretty stupid. If we and Wargaming and all the other gaming companies would actually do what they are lawfully entitled to do, that is pressing charges against the abusive ones, our courts would get flooded and the abusive ones would get punished in real life. Lucky for all those wannabe internet strong people that we and Wargaming and all the other gaming companies are not pressing those charges. As I pointed out earlier that is just plain wrong. It has nothing to do with skill. Even if it had, it is still no excuse for being abusive. You can not demand skill from others. You can not command others to do your bidding in the game either. Everyone has the same right to play the game however the hell they wish as long as they follow Wargamings rules. Not yours, not mine, or that of any other player. Then complain to Wargaming. Still no excuse to insult other players.

Sure... so it has to be their servers. It can't be the routing done by your ISP. It can't be a bad data package that kills the connection. It can't be that your PC, maybe due to some updates, might have issues with certain function calls that other games don't use. All completly impossible. It has to be the servers because you say so.

Any good point presented by verbal abuse is automatically invalidated due to the chosen way of transmitting the point. I certainly don't want to go searching for deeper meaning between insults hurled at me. I'm pretty sure you would prefer critizism in a constructive manner as well. Critizism is no excuse for verbal abuse.

If you are orange it happens regularly to you. I don't experience regular disconnects. Neither do any of my clan mates. My guess: The issue is on your end. Maybe contact your ISP or ask someone with proper knowledge to give your PC a proper inspection. Or you could start with a polite ticket to support and ask for technical help. Your choice of coming in here flaming is the worst option you could have chosen as it will solve nothing.

Could someone please translate that screenshot? Is he pink for 10 games, or limited to co-op already? Anyways... If you want to complain about or contest a sanction (being pink is a warning not a sanction) then open a support ticket. The forum community can't help you.

Wrong! There is always someone who "knows better". Be it a low or a high winrate player doesn't matter. You can play like a god and someone will still find a reason to complain and insult. The fault is not with the player who those words are aimed at but the lack of manners of the one who wrote them.

Then I at least hope that they don't troll us again and do not again wait for more then an hour before they release the code.

@Crysantos Is the compensation for recieving the epic drop really credits, if you already own the ship? Today I received the Aigle, a twitch mission, and a twitch container while watching. The Aigle, as I already have it in the harbor, was compensated with ~7 million credits. While still nice it is not exactly epic anymore. Maybe that should be mentioned in the event details.

As I don't have them, I can tell you that it does not affect everyone.

Not happening to me but a clanmate is fighting with it quite heavily. Exactly as described above. I hope the fix will not wait until the next major patch because it results in really bad gameplay situations for those affected.

Because during the time between July 15th and 22nd it was possible to complete the last directive for the Benham / savage battles event. All of them are listed, so you can look up your past achievments. The hall of fame events in June, a month before the July one (you should really start to properly read things), where daily for the duration of the victory competition. As all your confusion seem to come from forgetting things or not reading them properly I'll step out of this thread now. There is no problem with the game. No bug.
