Please provide that math in detail. Mine can be found in one of those threads with actual numbers.
-
FreeXP is 5 % of your earned XP without flags or some premium ships. Do the math again. You apologists throw around big numbers without the slightest idea what is an actual reality for this game.
-
Did you do the math for a F2P player or did you just post this without even thinking about it? 4-5 month without spending money is nothing but a wet dream.
-
Can you be any more dishonest please. This ship is as free as the carrot in front of the mule that is pulling your cart. Unreachable till the very end for almost everyone.

Pearl harbor mission , so how to make things even more retarded
Egoleter replied to Draconobilis's topic in General Discussion
I would laugh, yet I fear that WG will manage to trump your idea with even worse tasks. -

Here is my feedback on this new type of missions. I won't bother. I didn't even try the one of last week. I'll not try the one this week. They are not a challenge, they are an insult. Your skill in antagonizing the player base and to create endless levels of frustration within the game has reached new heights.

Pearl harbor mission , so how to make things even more retarded
Egoleter replied to Draconobilis's topic in General Discussion
With that attitude and without other users fighting for a more enjoyable gaming environment, you'd by now probably see missions where you have to shoot down 100 planes, kill 12 enemy ships, of which 6 have to be DDs, 3 BBs, 2 Cruisers, and 1 CV, while you destroy or incapacitate 25 modules and deal 400000 points of damage. All in a single battle. Hey... you can achieve that by playing normally, don't you? Where do you draw the line?- 224 replies

Pearl harbor mission , so how to make things even more retarded
Egoleter replied to Draconobilis's topic in General Discussion
I wish you would understand that this is giving feedback on poor mission design in the hope that someday (probably not before next century) WG-EUs mission designer will understand what is good and what is not. Your whining about whining is about as unconstructive as it gets. -
New Missouri premium not world endingly expensive with proper promotions....
Egoleter replied to g1g5's topic in General Discussion
I wouldn't have a problem with "lots of games". I do have a problem with "a mountain of games that will take years to complete". No sane F2P user is going to ever earn it. Most of them will have moved on to other games by the time they might have played enough games to have the necessary amount. I already did an example post in another thread earlier but I'll repeat the math for this one. A normal player earn 5 % of his ship XP as FreeXP. To earn even 100 FreeXP a normal (non-premium, no flags, no premium ship, no nothing) will need to earn an average of 2000 base XP in every battle, so this number is already very gracious. 750000 necessary FreeXP devided by 100 is 7500 games that need to be played. If one game take on average 12 minutes, those 7500 games will take a total of 90000 minutes of time playing this game. 90000 minutes are 1500 hours. 1500 hours are 62.5 days. That is nonstop gaming time, with a clearly above average performance, to even have a chance to earn this ship. Without sleep, without eating, without time for other necessary bodily functions. If you only play 2 hours per day, equaling in 10 games per day, it will take such a player 750 days to complete the mission. More then two whole years. Each game played less per day, each point less average FreeXP earned per battle, or even every minute added to the average game time will increase this time massivly. In that time no free XP can be spend on anything else. That is one epic grind. I haven't seen anything comparable anywhere yet. No... Wargaming has no intention that any free player will ever have access to that ship. They want to sell it one way or another. By selling flags, premium ships, premium time and XP conversion. The FreeXP price is nothing but a masquerade. -

Egoleter replied to g1g5's topic in General Discussion
Exactly my point. But why do they camouflage the actual intend? They could have just put an actual price tag on it and be done with it. -
They can't be sold. You can simply keep them until the day you want to use them.

And now calculate the time it needs, to get this ship that we are supposed not needing to pay for, and which is supposedly simple to get, without spending money. They are hiding a price behind the real money XP conversion mechanism.- 76 replies

That is actually not true. Even if you insist. Here is the announcement: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/66108-arpeggio-compensation-and-more/

ARP Takao? nah, prepare for the ARP Nachi pain
Egoleter replied to Jvd2000's topic in General Discussion
Don't expect any community representetive from Wargaming to pay attention to it. We are trying for a month now and we get completly ignored. -
Which isn't exactly free. It is a money shortcut for what otherwise would take your average gamer years of playing. Saying that it is available to everyone is just as much true as it is for any other premium ship. If you pay for it, you can have it.
-
Doesn't really matter that there is no such limit. A little math shows how insanly high this price is. Link

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"
Egoleter replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
750k freeXP is still way to much. Without any special modifiers, like premium time, flags, or camos, we can assume 100 free XP per battle (which is already a respectable number considering that only 5 % of your normal XP earnings are freeXP). That is the small amount of 7500 battles for your average Joe to ever get this ship. Assuming an average battle time of 12 minutes this is only the short time of 90000 minutes (or 1500 hours, or 62.5 days or somewhat above two months) of pure playing. Without sleeping, eating, or other bodily needs. Calling this "free" and "simple" (quote: "Is that it? Yes, it is! We told you it's simple, didn't we?") is a joke. -

"We are sorry for the inconvenience." What inconvenience are they talking about? The one where you are able to earn more credits and XP without extra costs? While I did get some of those camos, I don't care about them. I'd still prefer it if they would adress the skillsets of the captains that no longer fit the ships they are driving because WG had to exchange the ship. So far I haven't played a single match with my T-VIII replacement. -
You need to switch to the Yokosuka port.

At your service.

Which isn't all to surprising. They still follow the same basic concept just with more steps toward the final goal.

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Egoleter replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
I've been accused of cheating because I sank an Omaha with double citadel hits. Cost me three Karma and the player wants to send in proof to Wargaming. I wish him good luck in his endeavour. -
Wargaming: Is it too much to ask to get rid of the bots and AFK'ers?
Egoleter replied to G01ngToxicCommand0's topic in Archive
If bots are identified like this, there is something wrong with the people claiming to see them.- 11 replies
