Quaitty Issue: bug : all your screen controls dissapear during battle
Egoleter replied to OxyMoronic's topic in Off-Topic
From the description this is a known bug. It is not related to mods (happens to me too sometimes and I am mod-free). Only way out is to restart the client. -
I don't compare weekly or weekend missions with the other servers. We know that weekly and weekend missions are handled differently between all of them. Global special events are another case, but that is not what we are talking about here. This double XP weekend is simply not a special.
-
Double XP for the first win is something we get every weekend. I seriously expected something more then this for a SPECIAL. Like double XP on all victories. This is not special at all. It feels like the same old paper wrapping we get for every present, only this time there is no present in it.

Der OP hätte vieleicht den Text unter dem Video bei Youtube lesen sollen. Selbst ohne diesen habe ich Interstellar und Into Darkness eindeutig identifizieren können.

Wargaming are you f*cking kidding me with the supercontainer?
Egoleter replied to maestrod's topic in General Discussion
I would rather have the old 250 flags back. Those upgrades are not worthy supercontainer content. Their value is far below anything else you can get in those. The better way to distribute them would have been to treat them with a similar rarity as reserve and port slots in standard containers.- 29 replies

You could simply refer them to Wargaming instead of asking them to break rules themself. One post, one sentence, and you could move on and not be bothered anymore. But you do not do it. You want evidence yourself. So you want to be in the middle and judge this behavior yourself, even though you are just an uninvolved third party. And with that I am out of here. I said what I wanted to say. Don't provoke others into breaking the rules.
-
You are not the one they need to prove their claims to. No matter how much you would like to be in that seat, you are not. You can take their claims at face value or dismiss it but in the end they only need to prove their accusations to Wargaming and no one else.
-
Nope, you are still asking them to break the forum rules. Right now they are blaming all clans. That's not fine either, but you asking for specific evidence, blaming specific players, is a step above that.
-
Why do you request them to potentially name & shame other players? We do not need that evidence. Only Wargaming does.
-
Smoke blocks visibility. For you and your enemies. If you are hidden in smoke you'll need someone outside the smoke to spot the enemies for you. Only exception are ships that are closer then 2 km (3 kms with proper captain skill) which will always see each other.

I understand that you want to create missions that are a challenge. I totally do and I agree with the idea behind it. But you are not creating challenges, you are creating frustration by setting missions goals that require lucky rolls on matchmaking and player skillsets in your opponents and your own team. Way to many aspects your players have no influence over. A challenge should be achievable by your own skills, not by the lack of skills of other players and with support of some random numbers. Most of your latest top mission requirements for the weekly missions required tier VIII+ ships to even have a remote chance to fullfill them. If you are lucky with your teammates, the opposing teams ability for self defense, and the RNG. If you want only players in those top tiers to be able to succeed in those missions, then please be so honest and set the mission requirements accordingly instead of providing goals that can't realistically be achieved with tier VI or VII. I'd like to propose a different way to adress these weekly missions. I suspect it would need some help in coding. Seperate them by tier completly. Provide a weekly mission for tiers IV to VI only (exclude all others) with realistic goals for those tiers. Some missions for tiers VII and VIII and then some for tier IX and X. All of them have the same rewards and if you started with one (reaching the first goal) you will no longer be able to play the others. That way the players can play at their prefered tiers, with challenges fitting for those tiers instead of being almost impossible all the time. And you are running those missions for two months now. You should already havos some numbers available that you can share with us. How many players of tier VI (so far the lowest tier necessary for reaching the top goal) have managed to complete those missions? And sorry, but Wargaming EU doesn't have a good track record in listening to its community. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 a 10 with 10 being the best you would be somewhere between a 1 and a 2. Every time you tell us that you listen, nothing changes. Any attempt by the community to get a more enjoyable server situation is addressed with excuses and cover ups. The promised changes in structure or your repeated statement that you are doing it for your community are an utter lie so far. Your community wants you to change for the better but you refuse again and again and again. Edit: By the way... I don't expect any further updates on this issue except further excuses. There will no change happen in the WG-EU offices. Happy players is not their companies prime objective. Some employees might have that goal but the company as a whole doesn't.

I like it. Tier V is my prefered tier. If I should get to rank 1 this season (big IF), I can see me playing quite a number of matches in the superleague. Even more so with containers as rewards for each match played.
-
All matches in all ranks will be tier VII this season. Superleague, after reaching rank 1, will be tier V.
-
If you did receive compensation since the change a few months ago, which I doubt, then it has been a lucky bug in your favor. If you have evidence, please report that bug.
-
Since the repair costs have been made the same independent of the state of your ship after the battle, compensation has been removed, as it could otherwise be expoited as an additional source of income. If you deal damage to your team you still pay but the server is the only one collecting.
-
Fact? How can it be fact? So you have evidence beyond your own personal observation and your own stats? The weekend thing is a myth. At best it is a self fulfilling prophecy. You expect to have worse matches, so you act accordingly. Any way... creating new threads complaining about how bad weekend players are, every week, just to get them closed by a moderator, every week, is not helping to create an enjoyable gaming experience anyway. If you feel weekends are unbearable for you, then just don't play but spare us the drama.

Teamkill und die Sinnlosigkeit der Zerstörer
Egoleter replied to Plattnix's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Exakte Beschreibung deines Verhaltens hier. Schonmal drüber nachgedacht, dass die anderen Teammitglieder genug damit zu tun haben gegen den Gegner zu kämpfen und eigentlich nicht damit rechnen sollten aus den eigenen Reihen behindert / beschossen zu werden? -
Teamkill und die Sinnlosigkeit der Zerstörer
Egoleter replied to Plattnix's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen

As no one answered that yet: https://eu.wargaming.net/support/?utm_content=cm-top&utm_source=global-nav&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=wows-forum Through this link you'll be able to report to support. When asked to accept that support will not act upon chat violations, just click the checkbox and ignore it otherwise. In severe cases they'll still handle this stuff. With all that said: Please remove the screenshot. With the name of the aggressor visible, this is a case of name and shame, which is forbidden on this forum. The forum and the players are no judges and jury and killing even an innocents players reputation is very easy that way.

Mikasa/Pre-Dreadnought Appreciation Fleet
Egoleter replied to Close_Quarters_Expert's topic in Other
I'm up for any event you come up with. If my weekends were not stacked with offline events all the time, I'd try to think about something myself. I'm not much of a chatting guy, so I'm usually stearing clear of all the chat channels.- 102 replies

Maybe, I know weird thought but stay with me for a moment, maybe because it is an arcade like game and not a simulation of a realistic fleet operation?

Get your wallets ready - the next Ranked season will be T7 again
Egoleter replied to Tyrendian89's topic in General Discussion
And just when I moved on to the Amagi on the IJN BB line. I would have loved to bring my Nagato to ranked battles. Maybe Gneisenau, Hiryu, or I use it to train up a new USN DD captain? Mmmmh... No idea yet. -
