    Event Calendar for April

Repeatable (daily) missions this weekend on the WG-EU server. And we even kept our weekend doubles. There is another step in the right direction. Now you just need to start to make those missions more accesible instead of only allowing the highest tier players, with specific ships on top, a chance to play them. On another note... on a weekend with japanese focus, why are two out of three missions limited to american ships?

Not to sound impatient but... It is Thursday now. Do you want to clarify which Monday you meant?

Was haltet ihr vom Skill Basiert MM?

    Premium ships nerfs and refunds.

Why exactly would that be the case? Unless one expects premium ships to be pay to win objects there is no reason I could think of not to adjust them to current game mechanisms and balance. Do I miss something here?

    Event Calendar for April

Big improvement in telling us final rewards and general idea of the weekly mission chains. Could still be better but it is a good step in the right direction. Now we need that same for the weekend specials in regards to the rewards. Unless the different XP boosts is all there is to them. Then a question comes to mind in hindsight of last months weekends. - Will we have double XP on all those weekends and/or will it be the sole reward for some of them?

    Premium ships nerfs and refunds.

Balance changes to multiplayer games are the most normal things that can happen. In every single one of those game you spend money in the knowledge that it can hit the content you just bought in posiitve and negative ways. If you are not aware of such completly normal things, you might want to look for someone who explains those things to you before you spend money on games again. No one ever declared that premium ships would be immune to those changes. Even the policy to not nerf premium ships is only an unofficial one which is not written down anywhere. There is no leg to stand on to make a refund claim.

Is there a transcript available somewhere?

    Community Team Q&A - 30/03 17:00 CEST

Mr. Conway already promised to write up a reply to my post(s). And I told you in my PM reply that I would like it to not become MrFingers spokesperson on the forums. We may share a similar goal but he has his ways to do things and I have mine. His ways got him exiled to reddit. I don't have contact to him and I would like to keep it this way. As far as Facebook is concerned: Creating fake accounts is not the solution to the problems most users have with that company. Allowing their scripts, which are running nearly anywhere where a FB share button is implemented, are the ones most of us are reacting allergic to. As there is no way to get around those scripts to use the FB websites and services, it would remain unusable even with a fake, as those scripts will remain blocked. I welcome it that you are looking into ways to put those streams onto twitch in the future.

Some interesting info around the world

I'd like to remind you again. This is not the discussion thread. Here your will only find informations. Please put your questions and discussions here: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/56433-discussion-thread-for-some-interesting-info-from-ru/ And while I am at it: A "Thank you" to the content providers of this thread.

    Questions of the Community

The very first part was aimed at you. I never thought that you accused me of of being insulting. So thank you for your clarification but it was a non-issue. In terms of more equal treatment between the servers I am with you. It is as much my concern as the improvement of communication. That's why I added the part about WG-EU being way behind the US server in terms of events and their rewards. As I don't see WG-US slowing down anytime soon, whatever WG-EU intends to keep their past statements, that those things equal out over time, true, they need to come up with something reeeeeaaaaally big. So Mr. Conway... We really have been patient with WG-EU, could we now please get an honest and informative attempt to address those questions and concerns for once? No excuses, no evasive actions, no "one word has to say all" replies? Would that be possible?

    Questions of the Community

You hit the nail on the head. I didn't go so far as to insult WG-EU or any of their employees. I never would and I repeatedly stated that I am gratefull for the work the Community Coordinators are doing. But if we ask questions nicely and don't really get answers, if we repeat the questions and the questions simply vanish and be ignored, it should come at no surprise that at one point our goodwill towards WG-EU will come to an end. My question might have been constructed in a hostile way. But this is at least the fifth time that I have put up questions that are similar in content without getting a response from WG-EU. I plead for better communication and get ignored. I ask for better information streams and get ignored. I ask questions in relation to the companies ethos towards their players and get either evasive replies or non at all. Even the answers I recieved this time are in two cases barely worth to be called that, and in the other it is just plain confusing. So with all due respect Mr. Conway. Respect is a two way street and so far you, as your company, have not shown me or my questions anything like that. So please tell my why I should keep showing it to you (aka the company)? Why should I not become irritated and angry if I am treated like this? I really appreciate it that you took all the time today to answer all the questions you did ,and that you even added a video Q&A including a transcript. There still seems to be a habit to ridicule, ignore, or otherwise evade any questions critical to WG-EUs behavior. We care about this game. A lot. We want it to strive. And I am sure that this is also in the best interest of your company. We care so much that we stand up on our little soapbox and tell you what you are doing wrong. We question you because we want you to improve. We are doing so again and again and again, and despite all your promises to change for the better, it gets worse. If WG-EU actually cares about user feedback there should be processes to incorporate the things you told us you learned from your failures in the past into current and future behavior. Yet we can not see them. Instead we see how you cut down on ingame content for causuals. Despite all your promises of the past to better inform us about such things, and our constant questioning of behavior where players feel belittled, not understood, or just plain abused, we heard nothing from you except excuses. How long are we supposed to wait to see you improve? We do not want to see another debacle like the christmas convoy. We don't want to constantly see the goodies the other servers are treated with (has there been a week or month without something special on the US server since the start of this year?) while we are getting less and less and the few things we do get are hidden behind constantly increasing pay-, skill-, and/or luckwalls. In the past you told us that those things would equal out over time, but right now you are way way back in comparison. When do you plan to start catching up? When will the time for the EU server come to get soem goodies without them being hidden behind tier 8+ mission, stupidly high skillwalls, or incredible luck streaks? When will we get something that the whole community can truly benefit from? I'm not asking for myself. If I would only be interested in myself I would long be gone. So please don't even start to think that this is about me. I'm asking these questions, that you barely seem to notice, to improve the situation for everyone on the EU server. Something that would benefit WG-EU as well because happy players are more likely to become paying players then those who 'only play the game'. A game, if it becomes to much of a struggle, to repetitive, will at some point be a game ignored. You do realize that, don't you? Nah, of course you do, or else you wouldn't be as successfull as you are. Yet you appear to be content with what you achieved in the past with this game and show no strive to improve from where it got you then. So let me ask on more time. Are there any plans to improve the situation for the WoWs-EU experience? Will you someday start to inform us about changes, maybe even including the reasoning behind them, in your policy towards the WoWs community before they happen? And now I am even adding a new question: Would WG-EU be open to the suggestion to include a group of player representitives into future event plannings to improve the current situation and to prevent future mistakes? We might spot things you are blind to because we look at them from a different perspective. As you are often caught by surprise by your mistakes and the communities backlash that you recieve in return, it might not be the worst thing you could do. How this player group is to be formed and included would be up for discussion at another time and place. How many failures could have been evaded in the past if you would just have communicated with us before they happened, with a willingness to actually listen? And with all that I now hope that this was polite enough, that you start to understand why I am becoming increasingly aggitated, and that you will not evade me and my questions for once.

    Questions of the Community

Ok... how do you want me to rephrase it so that it will recieve one? You can't deny that the weekend specials on the EU-Server have been cut down on rewards. You can't deny that the weekly missions are not much liked by the community and that they are often purely luck based. You can't deny that, from the looks of it, WG-EU does everything in their power to reduce the incentives for random and casual players and that this is an ongoing process. A simple comparison between the past and the present makes this very obvious. It is an observable fact. What we players do not know is the reason why you do this. WG-EU repeatedly promised us better communication, so please tell us the reason why you are doing this. We might understand it. Sorry, I'm sometime not seeing messages in red on my default browser (not sure why yet, as all other colors work fine). Tried a different one and so saw your very short answer. A more elaborate one would still be very welcome. And answering a question with an "or" in it for several options with a simple "yes" isn't exactly an answer.

    Event Calendar for March

It's up now. It's a "2x XP for first victory" weekend with added options to spend money/doubloons. So absolutly nothing special about it. Certainly not worth being called fever or getting the subline "Speed up your advance to new ships - and to collect containers - in this weekend special". WG-EU is certainly hitting it off big time this month with showing their active playerbase the middlefinger. If this continue like it did since November, we will not need any form of event calender by August. Because by then we will not recieve anything anymore. There will be no more incentives besides simply having fun to play the game or to invite new players to it. And we can do that on the other servers too, while still getting decent rewards, you know?

    About ranked games.

I did. Do you know about a better balanced tier?

How many people are planning on leaving Warships

Voted both. Why? Because I could. Will it matter? Not at all. Do I mean anything by voting here? You are free to guess. Will this thread survive the night? Highly unlikely. In the meantime I'll continue enjoying fighting my battle in WoWs. Be it in a DD, BB, or CA/CL. Only thing I don't like about the patch is the removal of manual drops from low tier carriers. Hopefully I'm done with the Bogue in time before the patch hits.
  16. Egoleter

    Please explain !

I'll add my voice to the crowd that is telling you that citadel hits don't get an additional hit ribbon. Citadel hits are rewarded with a single ribbon only.
  17. Just met cro_pwr in his Furutaka. We won and had fun in the chat. Here is the sealclubber ship outfit I've been "accused" to use

Fixxed that for you. It is only the captain. You do not get the ship. As your questions are void I normally wouldn't answer them. I'll make an exception as you seriously don't seem to know. If you earn a duplicate ship (premium or normal) ingame through special events you will be compensated in silver. If you get a duplicate premium ship from a container you'll be compensated in gold.
  19. I have already been detonated without even being actually hit. The screenshot is floating around on this forum somewhere. Detonations happen. To everyone (unless you spend a lot of money on anti-detonation signals). Please edit your post. As you claim that the one killing you is a bot (which I highly doubt, due to his clan tag) with that user being identifiable by your screenshot, this is a case of name and shame which is against the forum rules.
  20. Stock Amagi ruling the seas in this tier X match (I even gained a point of Karma with this battle).

    What about a concede vote?

I have won a 3 vs 9 battle, so my reply is ...
  22. Take a break. Play something else, read a good book, watch some TV, or spend time with your loved ones. Come back when you have calmed down and are no longer bothered by your previous performance. If you continue playing while you are upset about your own abilities, you will only stress out and start playing even worse, causing you more and more stress. It is a downward spiral.

I can already tell you St. Patricks day - Mission (once per account) Win 5 battles (random or ranked) Tier IV+ Reward: Lá Fhéile Pádraig 2017 flag + 5 Lá Fhéile Pádraig 2017 camos Commander Boost - Challenge (repeatable) Win a battle (random or ranked) Tier IV+ Reward: +50 % Commander XP Both are running till the 21. Edit: Announcement now on the front page as well. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/special/novelty-leprechaun-hat-with-every-purchase/ Additional notes now that the announcement is up. Would have been nice if the repeatable mission / challenge would have been for additional St. Patricks day camos. Wargaming instead decided it is better to sell them to us. It would have been more in line with the special event. Now it is essentially a 5 win mission (way better then the last two weekends) and the special is over. The +50 % commander XP is just to generic. It has nothing in common with St. Patricks day (like the color green, kobolds, ireland, pots of gold, luck, and so on). Not even the name. I could come up with a nice mission for everything I associate with St. Patricks day. Examples (mission name - needed to achieve = reward): - Green ocean - win a battle = additonal camo(s) - Kobolds at work - damage modules = consumable(s) - A pot of gold - earn X amount of silver in a single battle = random standard container or small amount of doubloons (10 or 20) - That's some luck - sink a ship = double XP
  24. Sorry, for only noticing your post just now. Of course I lost Karma in that match. I'll not post a screenshot of the teamscore tab. I don't want to shame those other players. It's probably tough enough for them that I had almost three times the base XP of the second place.
