I like the idea. I just have my doubts that we might see this implemented before the event is over. While I don't have the Kamikaze yet, I also do not see me reaching enough coins to get it. So I would offer my coins as well for new players or those who entered late. There is just one downside to it. Some players will start selling their coins on ebay and other online venues, if you give them such an ability. -
Looking at the current development, that would need a small miracle, worthy to be included in the holy writings of the various religions. You can't switch teams between the rounds. So you'll have the same players and the same large numerical difference in player numbers in all three rounds. Unless several thousend players come out of nowhere in those weeks, to play a substantial number of games, and all going for team blue, nothing will be different.

That may be displayed, and you have to mark a checkbox that you took notice of it, but they do take action against it if it is reported to them. I know from my own personal experience with creating such reports and one CS member being a little bit to communicative in his reply giving away the type of punishment that was handed down. It was a ban.

Like I said, I posted from memory. How can I post something as fact If I can't quote the source? My memory could be deciving me. Now that I know remember the source I would have worded it differently and most likely provided a link to the quoted statement. -

Supposedly because I didn't look them up and posted from memory. Supposedly because I do not have direct access to the complete server statistics. I'll not post something like this as factual if I can't in some way support it. -
So will I, as I had no choice other then to join team blue because team red is almost constantly filled. Just waiting until it becomes available means 1) another poor player might have been forced into the smaller team instead of me, 2) waiting costs time which is already rather short if you want to aim for the top price. With your response you expressed your hope. Now what if your hope fails? I would really like to know if WG will do anything if their chosen format of the event is causing avalanche like victories for the same team again and again. Will WG react before the event is over? Will they compensate the team that in that case never had a chance by at least granting them the same bonuses? Or will WG promise once again to learn from their mistakes, not actually correcting anything, just to make new, equally bad, mistakes the next time? Sorry for being so blunt but if you don't consider a fallback plan now in case your event format backfires, while it is still early to address potential mistakes, you will deserve all the flack you'll get for it.

All ships are supposed to be equally relevant, so a perfect match (excluding carriers) would have 4 BBs, CAs/CLs, and DDs per side. Why make the limit even harder by connecting it to carriers present? I'm all for reducing the amount total BBs played (which is suppesedly at ~40 % right now) to more normal numbers but your suggestion will just hurt them hard. Balance changes should not come by halfing their currently played numbers in game. They need to come by addressing a few other things. First of them is BBs being to easy to be played in comparison to all other classes. -
Will you take that statement back if the weekend doesn't change a thing? I will if I'm proven wrong but for now the animation is showing that the gap is constantly growing.

So what are you telling the players who are actually forced into the losing team that they will not get a chance to the special flag for winning a round, that they will not get the special achievement, and that they will not be getting the extra camos for simply being unable to chose the winning team? Those total numbers matter. There are plenty of collectors in this game and you are once again giving them something to be frustrated about. I strongly suggest to adjust the allowed difference in team size to a much lower percentage ASAP.

Yes and yes. Capping is providing a nice XP boost. XP for damage is calculated on the ship you are hitting and the percentage of their total hitpoints of damage you have done. So you'll get more XP for dealing 8000 points of damage to a 10000 hitpoints destroyer then you would get for doing the same damage to a 50000 hitpoints battleship. Getting the killshot in isn't really that important. Still... congratulations on your Kraken achievement.

For every four players joining team blue, five players are allowed to join team red. But before team red gets those extras, others are forced into the smaller, automatically losing, team. There is no way to excuse such a blunder at the planning stage.

GNB was good except for two things: 1) The surprise at the end was a total let down. WG-EUs excuse that they didn't expect us to get that far made it even worse. 2) Premium time being added to base XP rewards, together with goals only reachable with active premium time and lots of luck. There wasn't anything wrong with the concept of GNB as such. This time there is a big imbalance in the whole thing right from the start. Knowing WGs reaction times it will not be addressed before the event is over and the smaller teams on their respective servers got screwed. Players might have been able to compensate for 5 % team size differences, allowing 25 % is just plain stupid. On top of that the only worthwhile rewards are hidden behind a grind so massive it is beyond believe.

That's my biggest issue with this event. I don't care much about the grind, I'll play as usual just not watching matches till the end if I'm dead. But who in his right mind would want to chose a side knowing that the other side has a 25 % advantage and plenty of players will let themself be forced into the blue team, so you just have to wait. I'm pretty sure that team red will keep their numbers advantage and WG will not notice the problem until it is to late.

I hope they considered that the bigger team might automatically become the winner due to their numbers advantage. For those forced into the smaller team this is kinda awkward. To calculate the winner for the week the total numbers need to be averaged by the number of team members. Even the supposedly 'evenly matched difference' of 25 % is still a huge advantage.

It might be possible that it will start at the same time for all servers, as to not spoiler for the others. In that case we will need to wait a few more hours. No one said that it will start early in the morning for us.

I'm not killing for WG. I thought that would be known by now. I can't be so sure about all the other STs though. I'm killing in the name of bug free software. And this specific bug is as elusive as Schroedingers cats health status.

We would kill for a replay that catches this bug. There should be zero chance to detonate as long as you have the Juliet Charlie signal mounted.

I always only get this after a clear victory. How am I supposed to rate the match if my side steamrolled the other?
