I farmed a little over 150 of Juliet Charlie signals since the last ranked season. I'm now sitting on a stash of more then 250 of them. Only about half of them came from actual detonations the rest were rewards from various sources. I'm always glad about a detonation, because that means I have ten more signals for the next season of ranked battles, or other times where I definatly don't want to detonate by a stray bullet. I can understand how it is frustrating for some if their (near) full health ship goes up in flames by a single hit. But in all seriousness: - That is something almost all cruiser and DD players should be used to, simply because other ships can and will annihilate them with one salvo anyway. (That's what the OP is talking about I guess) - Not nearly all detonation happen at (near) full health. Those are just the most noticable. - They are not even happening very often. I had a streak of nearly thousend battles without a single detonation. I had days where I detonated in every second battle. The experience of other might vary but the average should be rather low. Making farming of JC signals possible like the OP proposes, it would be easy to hoist one of them in every single battle. You would get them for something that is unrelated to the actual detonation, so you can farm them while not suffering from detonations. An easily achievable reward, that would let you disable a mechanism of the game that you dislike, isn't a good solution. I could imagine other ways to reward more signals, that are not passive and exploitable. Some of them are already in the game (signal reward containers), others might reward community work within the game, or maybe a small reward everytime a recruited player makes a purchase above a certain treshold. I'm sure other users could come up with even more and better ideas.

I think it is rather easy. Even a carrier can be mighty usefull, taking the far south map boarder route to sink the Hosho, the forts should be dead by the time your planes return, and then prepare to sink the two reinforcement CVs and their escorts by sending your planes to the west. That way you can reduce those troublesome carriers by two thirds before they even have a chance to become a notable nuisance. You can keep those DDs spotted, or torp them once the carriers are dealt with, so they can't enter the harbor unseen. So far I only lost it once, one three star game, and five stars for all other attempts. And the lost game was some really bad luck with the RNG and teammates to focused on killing onshore installations and freighters to notice that their ships are under attack by cruisers and BBs.

And everyone knows that DDs always sail alone. As stated before. The team that supports its DDs properly is the one with an advantage. I'm out of here. You clearly show a complete lack of interest in an actual discussion. You want to promote your idea and nothing else. Even facts don't matter and I'm pretty sure you will start changing the situation every time we conter it in some way.
-
You split your team in three parts while the other side only splits for two caps. Each of your seperate teams is weaker then the force they engage at their cap point. You might be at an advantage early on but this will soon evaporate the monent one of your teams is annihilated. From that point onward it will be an uphill battle for your side and your early cap advantage will be gone once the other team starts to push against you.

Yes, it does. If you remove evidence from the equation all that is left to your post is feelings, created by an observational bias, and an uninformed rant.

I like your enthusiasm CCC but I do not believe that advertisement for other games should be a part of this thread. We are here for WoWs and other games belong in the offtopic section of the forum in a seperate thread.- 102 replies

As it has been made known, there is no statisitical evidence that the team with less DDs is at a disadvantage. There was a developer statement (Sub_Octavian if I remember correctly) in that regard. In fact all evidence points at the teams with less DDs to be more successfull (including the domination game mode). So you see that there is no reason for equal DD matchmaking. It would be kinda hard to do anyway. DDs are way to different and range from stealthy torp boats to easily detectable superlight cruisers in how they need to be played. A stealth DD is no match for a gunboat. It all comes down to the team supporting their DDs better. Be there at the front line when your DDs need you.

Nagato needs getting used to. You had the Fuso shotgun before, where the amount of shells almost always guaranteed a hit in some way. The guns of the Nagato behave differently and to be cut short a third of your previous barrels needs some adjustment. When I first started playing the Nagato I had a 19 game loosing streak. Now she is one of my all time favorites with a 63 % solo winrate, an average damage of 68k, and a survival rate of 58 % despite often being the leading ship of a charge. Not hitting at 6 km or below is some bad luck with her. At such close distances her guns are usually devestating for everyone who dare to brawl with her. While the germans might be better brawlers due to their secondaries and torps, the Nagato is more maneuvarable and her main guns are hitting harder then even those of the Bismark or Tirpitz. Even her secondaries are not as bad as some people might be telling you. They are only bad in comparison to the all HE long range german ones. Other then that she has more and harder hitting secondaries, with still some good range if skilled and equiped for their usage. I remember a lot of battles with 100+ secondary hits and several tens of thousends of damage accounted to those guns. There are quite a number of sunken ships accounted to those 140 mm AP guns. DDs, Cruiser, BBs and even several carriers. Where Nagato is lacking is her armor. That she has a few more hitpoints then her german and american sisters should not be something you are comfortable about. Don't show broadsides if you can avoid it in any way. She can angle very well though and with her maneuverability you should soon learn to quickly switch between being optimally angled and able to fire all your guns at your selected target. Her quick rudder shift will also help a lot in avoiding incoming torpedos. Don't get decieved by the range of her guns. Your optimal fighting distance is somewhere between 10 and 14 km. Getting closer then that is welcome if you can do so safely, or if the rest of your team is charging with you. Don't be a sniper. You might have the longest range and the best precision of all BBs on your tier but you become more deadly the closer you get. If you also learn to use your spotter plane, you will soon be able to make surgical strikes against smoke camping cruisers. There are some very good Youtube tutorials on how to do that. Upgrade to the B hull as soon as possible. Last but not least: Some players love the Nagato. I am obviously one of them. Others hate her with a passion. I guess it is because of her not being a ship of averages. She isn't average in anything. She has strong parts and weak parts and your playstyle decides if you can make good use of her strong points or if you succumb to her weaknesses.

Sorry if I might sound blunt but... Troll go home! This thread isn't helping newcomers. This thread is spreading FUD. I have no idea what this user is angry about but I am absolutly certain that putting him in charge would be the worst possible solution. The OP can't present the problem properly. The OP can't present any form of constructive feedback about what he is angry about. The OP is creating a thread that has the potential to drive new players away. So the OP is clearly part of the problem, and you don't turn the problem into a solution by renaming it.

Good is being in the right position at the right time. Good is being able to read the enemy intentions and being able to spoil them. Good is supporting the teammates that profit the most from it. Good is ... you know what? There are so many thigns that might define what good might be and none of them work on their own. Winrate? Could be carried. Damage? Could be farmed. Kills? Could come down to luck. I'll define good as: "Constantly willing to improve your abilities."

As I am seeing it regularly used by some as their sole choice of ammo, I'd say way to many.

Well... I have just been called a subhuman and other similar niceties, for not supporting a ranting BB but instead playing to actually win the match by capping zones and actually killing enemy ships. Apparently such things are selfish as well now. I guess I should learn to be a good dog destroyer, that will come running as soon as his master any BB is calling. Nope... not going to happen. I'm playing to the best of my abilites and that means to be where I am actually needed the most, not to be where the most whiny BB is calling for help and insulting his teammates. Sidenote: That BB announced that I've been reported. Still my karma went up. Guess not everyone agreed with that player. So there is a glimmer of hope that some people actually understand how the game works and how matches are won.

Dragon signals were not removed. They already had a special chance to happen. What we lost are all the other 250 standard signal containers.

Also fangen wir mal am Anfang an. Die Fuso ist Tier VI. Dann kommen wir zu Sichtweiten in World of Warships. Jedes Schiff hat diverse Werte in Bezug auf Sichtweite. 1.

Glad you like it. Though I can't really believe no one else used it before. And now, because it hasn't been mentioned for a while: I thank you, in the name of all our members, as well as our original founder HMS_Worcester, far taking good care of us in our little pre-Dreadnought society.- 102 replies

https://eu.wargaming.net/support/tickets/create Send them a screenshot if you have one. The time and timezone when the battle happened, so they could check the logs. Death threats are no jocking matter and a serious offense. Even if they are thrown around in an anonymous online game. They are not a harmless thing, even if the threat is an empty one. They are directly mentioned in the rules for WoWs as a prohibited action (2.16). Almost all bigger gaming companies are sanctioning this type of offense very strictly and, like mentioned above, in some cases are even acted upon by police forces if brought to their attention (usually ending with the payment of a small fee to avoid trial - haven't heard of an actual trial and sentencing of such a case yet).

Question: Will the content of the old forum still be available, or does the new software mean that it is a fresh start? Should be save old content if we want to restore it after the switch, or will that not be necessary? Edit: Question answered by Sehales on the german forum. All content should still be intact after the transfer and they'll have a backup in case it doesn't go as smoothly. Edit2: Another info from Sehales. The forum update is delayed till Friday.

The only thing astonishing here, is that you try to blame other for your failure. I am as critical as they get if it concerns Wargaming. Some of my questions seem to be so critical that they outright refuse to give proper answers to them. This time, Wargaming did nothing wrong. They communicated everything properly. You just didn't take notice of it, despite that info being in bold letters on the frontpage of the website. Not to mention that you should always account for unforseen events, like server crashes, internet downtimes, power outages, armageddon, and similar things.
