I always failed to understand why early AFK seemed to affect DDs mostly. Seriously, this is the most mental thing I've heard since I started playing.

PvE has it's place, for me at least. When I go to work I take my crappy laptop (due to risk of transit damage) and the network is usually very poor. So for a couple of weeks at a time I play PvE as I don't really care if I get punted from a battle, something I don't want to inflict on a PvP game. The PvE earnings are fine as they are, no way they should compare to PvP.

For me, I'd like to see the commander sent for retraining (without the benefit of being able to do it on a premium). Having to spend many matches grinding XP with half you skills disabled should focus the mind.

No, only taking from a regular ship to premium. Go the other way (if specialised for a premium) and you have to retrain.

I was doing ok since the patch then, on Friday lunchtime, I went for the prem camo on my Fletcher, instant 14 match losing streak. All ship types affected, couldn't hit a thing with torps or guns, all teams melted in 5 minutes. Coincidence? I think so.

Go smash cruisers, that's one of your main roles. If you lurk around the home cap in a BB, chances are you'll never see a DD there anyhow, just the torps as they slam into you.

Twice I've had a different minimap to the main map. Both after loading problems (I take my old laptop to work and the network ain't great) Both times the problem didn't appear after I killed the game and restarted.

Lost a valuable karma point today for pointing out to a Tirpitz skipper that sitting 15km behind me, while I (in my Missouri) was getting pummeled by 2 BBs and a DD in a cap zone, was not really the best use of his ship. I'll add this was late game and very close so I had no choice but to contest the cap. I think I got the negative point for pointing out that 7k average damage in a T8 BB might be overcome by getting within range of the enemy.

And when we get Swordfish torpedo bombers.............

Just to add another thought. The best thing I think they could do is remove it all together. Winning/XP/credits is enough reward for playing well. Still leave the reporting abusive chat but get rid of karma as it means nothing anyhow.
