Maybe I'll buy Parallels 11 for a lower price, but I would of course prefer to solve it free. But thanks anyway Shaka_D -
WoWs on Mac - externe Festplatte / exernal harddrive

First: sorry for my bad english A few days ago, I did tried to install WoWs on my Mac. But because of my MacBook Pro's (13" early 2015) very limited memory of 80 gb (I had also a Windows Partition) I want to put WoWs on an external hard drive. Moving Applications in OS X to an external hard drive is in the most cases no problem but in this case, WoWs does not start any more. I did know some basics of programming so if I had to use Xcode to fix my issue it shouldn't be a problem. PS: I don't want to play WoWs on my Windows Partition ;) -

If I could solve my problem this way, I would not ask for it The problem is, I think, that I have to use the wrapper to be able to execute the classic Windows ".exe" file. The wrapper will download WoWs folder at a specific point (Documents) and can find it there only. If I could change this, that the wrapper finds the path to the folder on the hard drive, then my problem would be solved. I've already tried an Alias file, but the game just don't start. If I start it, then the game is new again downloaded. Perhaps still have more people solutions or someone else had the same problem. But thanks anyway -

I don't know how it works at your Mac. But if I started the download, the file is placed at my Documents Folder. Or did it work that I move the file to my external hard drive after I download it? For example World of Tanks doesn't start anymore after I placed the files on my external hard drive.. -

It is an great idea, but you know that it costs 80€. So I think that it is the better way, to install it on an external hard drive and keep my money with me ;) But thanks anyway for your help
