Another solution is not playing any more WOWS on the same day after you detonate. The ten Juliet Charlies as a compensation for detonation should be per detonation, without an arbitrary once per day limitation. Detonations are rare and random, which means that you cannot effectively farm Juliet Charlies. Thus, the effect mainly would be that you people who have to put up with the detonation BS twice on the same day get at least properly compensated for the each detonation. Personally, I don't view detonations as that common that I'd give up the added module protection for it. That said, I fully support OP's suggestion of removing the time limit from getting Juliet Charlie flags from detonations. Each detonation, ten flags. It should be that simple.

You need to be very useless and playing very poorly if you manage to lose credits in a Nagato. I just finished a 14k damage to BBs Schors game and still made 4k credits in it. It should be still fine to learn to play with that Nagato, there's no real need to go back to lower tier BBs to learn with them. In T8, you can already start losing money. Learn to play better before you go to T8.

A captain that isn't specialized for Amagi cannot drive Amagi. Therefore there is no need to show the specialization: it is always Amagi (or retraining to specialize in Amagi). All Japanese captains can drive Ishizuchi, without changing specialization. Therefore you need to know what ship that captain is trained for, so that you can put him back there. Note that specialization is also shown for captains that are in the reserve. In short - only captains specialized for that ship can drive silver ships, while all captains of the nation can drive premium ships. So, the captain of Furutaka can freely drive Furutaka and all Japanese premium ships. If a captain in retraining drives a premium ship, he can drive the premium ship without the usual 50% penalty to captain skills while in retraining. Thus, you can complete the captains retraining using a premium ship to avoid the penalty. The captain will be retrained normally for the silver ship you started the retraining in, even if he does the retraining in the premium ship.

fighting autowin rocks.. i mean cruisers

BBs and cruisers camp because flanked position means death to them. Same goes for getting heavily focused. If you push into a mess, you need to bring a bigger mess with you. -
ARP ships - are they identical with different skins
Agantas replied to Shagulon's topic in General Discussion
WoWS did a collaboration with an anime called Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova, last year. There are nine anime-themed ships that were given as quest rewards to players as a part of this collaboration: 4 Kongo-class BBs, 4 Myoko-class cruisers and 1 Takao-class cruiser (essentially an Atago without camo and premium ship benefits). These ships work like normal silver ships, except that you have to use ARP-specific captains on them. However, every ARP captain can drive every ARP ship without retraining, so you could drive all nine with just one captain if you wanted to. They are also unable to use camouflages. -
Wider selection. I play that wider selection with a smaller group of ships being played more actively, but what those ships are tend to chance. Mogami and IJN DDs are sort of favourites, though.

WG breaks its own rules, admits this cheat, and support trolls offer no support
Agantas replied to SamuraiShakaViking's topic in General Discussion
You can still get a free Bismarck the usual way, playing German BBs. The only unique thing was the camo, which was easier to get than Bismarck. I completed this campaign during first few days of it. Time of the day is a bit of a vague thing in international games with the World having multiple time zones in it. There are also maintenances, server crashes, horrible lag and other such factors which can influence playability, so leaving things to the last few hours is not vice. Earlies and lates may happen, and you should be prepared for those. But really, 99 bucks for Hood in order to get a free BB? Why not just buy the premium sister ship Tirpitz instead if you want to put some money into it? I hope you enjoy your Hood, assuming that you have time to play her, with all this sales stuff and such keeping you so busy that you couldn't play enough to complete this campaign in time. It wasn't a particularly grindy campaign, even. That said, I personally lost the chance to get a guaranteed Kamikaze R due to last minute myself (didn't gather enough pearls from first week weeklies), a bit over year ago. Tungstonid, on 11 June 2017 - 08:31 PM, said: Regarding your poll: Yes, WG should stick to advertized times for campaigns and mission. Just like they did for this one. You would have lost 2 hours anyway. Maybe not on the last day but on another one. Would you complain then, too? Yes, WG's customer support should provide support for players. Just like they usually do unless the request is totally bollocks and is not justified. So what do you suppose WG should do to solve the "problem" (note the quotation marks). Give every participant the collectibles and prizes they are still missing? Not gonna happen. Ask players to message the support if they feel treated unfairly about the campaign? Probably not a good idea because A) it is not justified and B) every tomatoe and his dog will message the support just so they get something for free so it would take ages. They did give us all a premium day due to some heavy patch/maintenance hassle. -
Is Triple Shiratsuyu Divisions Enough to Made BBabies Cry?

Or two Kutuzovs and a DD that spots for them. You can set only four fires. -
Is Triple Shiratsuyu Divisions Enough to Made BBabies Cry?

Only if the Shiratsuyus play well. -
Higher tier, higher arcs.

The eye icon hides the camo and makes the anime girlies look like IJN captains, with IJN captain names. It probably hides the anime voices too, when you play the ships.

Ammunition is already limited by the reload times. Shimakaze 12 km torps take 117 seconds to reload, assuming that the captain has the torpedo reload skill and that the torpedo reload module is installed. This means that if you launch those 150 torps in one game, you're spending 19 minutes 30 seconds reloading those torps (plus the time you might win). You have a reload timer and you have a finite match clock. That means that the amount of torps you can launch in one game is already limited. The nearly two minute reload time for Shima torps is already quite long. You should already be thinking on how to use your torps more effectively. A system where the ship is effectively defanged after they've shot X torps does not create fun gameplay in my opinion.

Since there are often many BBs in a match, it is more likely that some of them are top tier ships. However, the claim that there is always a top tier BB is false. I've been in games where there has been only top tier CAs or DDs, but not a single top tier BB. A top tier BB is pretty common, though.

Ye quick beginners guide to World of Warships
Agantas replied to Adwaenyth's topic in Newcomers' Section
SHIFT also remembers your last used zoom and shifts to that instead of max if you prefer to use some other zoom. This is useful with high-arcing shell lobbers with long shell flight time. -
Are you driving a fat DD? Perhaps you should put the ship on a diet? Edit: I just checked your stats and fat DDs(ships like Gearing and Khabarovsk) tend to be on the top of the list. Japanese DDs are slimmer than American and thus survive AP better than they do. When you think of something like Khabarovsk that is so well armored that it can shatter CA HE on the side plating and is difficult to hit on top of that, I think that BB AP doing good damage to such ship is pretty balanced.

1 19 point captain, currently trained for Yuugumo. The captain was recruited for T6 Mutsuki and has served aboard T7 Hatsuharu, T8 Fubuki and T9 Kagero before the current assignment to Yuugumo (also drives Shinonome/Tachibana when I play them). Other than that, I'm too spread out to have 19 point captains. With the amount of bought and won port slots that I have, I've been able to keep the ships I like.

After a long and hard struggle to get a good game with 2 BB kills in a BB, Mikasa has finally arrived to my port. I took her out for a spin couple of times. Here's the latter of the two games: https://wowreplays.com/Replay/38127 That said, proud Mikasa owner here, feel free to add me to the list.

If you manage to end the match without crashing, the problem continues to the next game if you don't quit the game and restart after the match. Did you try the suggested Alt+Enter and did it work?
-
Making ignore work on F commands or having an option of full ignore that extends to them would solve the problem better than adding more reports.
-
The point here is letting the devs know what we'd like to have from supercontainers. I, for one, would prefer that they dropped more of the stuff that isn't the new upgrades.

How Long Does It Take To Reach The Carolina?
Agantas replied to Lotara_Sarrin's topic in General Discussion
To answer the question, US cruiser are pretty fun. Just play them and you'll unlock South Carolina pretty naturally. US cruisers are also easier to play than the ultra-squishy Brits. The US T3 cruiser, St. Louis is particularly powerful. As for British cruisers, it starts to get easier at tier 6. British low tiers are pretty rough. -
How Long Does It Take To Reach The Carolina?
Agantas replied to Lotara_Sarrin's topic in General Discussion
Battleships are slow, their guns take half a minute to load and the salvos are much more inaccurate than those of cruisers. But yes, when you get a good salvo you can delete cruisers with 1-3 salvos. Hit for full alpha damage needs you to hit the citadel, though. South Carolina isn't generally a well-liked ship, but personally I enjoyed her when I was at that stage of the game. I played Japanese BBs to tier 5 before starting US line, though, so I wasn't completely new to BBs with South Carolina, which is part of the reason that I did better with her than the early Japanese BBs. -
Only games that you haven't played, in which you still have a chance to get that high-fire game affect your chance of getting a high-fire game. When it comes to past games, those have no affect on your chance of getting that high-fire game in future games. They have already been played and therefore don't count towards future odds. Statistically, with a large amount of games, you get closer to the true fire chance not because later games have a higher chance of getting that fire that would be "bound to compensate" the loss, but because those 800 fires you didn't get are peanuts in the big picture. You'd still be at 10.0% of shells hit setting fires, even if you're 800 or 8000 fires short of the expected amount.
-
This claim is rubbish. The low fire games you have now have no effect on what happens in later games. If you played a game and got only 3 fires out of 100 hits, despite a 19% hit fire chance, the chance for that happening is 100%, since it already happened.
