Sink the wows-stats (XVM for warships)

Everyone nowadays wants to have their safe space, well knock knock, who is there? Reality. Its a game, enjoy it for what it is, and when things go wrong, blame and insult everything and everyone, hell blame it on Putin, then realize you just vented your own frustration, realize how shitty you are and move on to the next battle. That's what I do, and guess what, now I'm not that shitty at this game, I'm becoming each day better, because I actually challenged myself to learn from those who were better than myself. Just grow up and deal with it, you will be good at something and bad at something else. Challenge yourself to become better, not others to not remind you how bad you are.

Sink the wows-stats (XVM for warships)

Oh noes I'm so afraid! Attempting to silence others is indicative of lack of arguments, loss of debate and general weakness in character.

Sink the wows-stats (XVM for warships)

I don't understand it, is this just a question of chat toxicity? I can handle criticism and toxicity because I'm not a f***** ****y. And I will be toxic no matter XVM, because I like to vent frustration, stop being damsels in distress "Oh my god I can't handle the internet bullying!" and grow the **** up.

    Tashkent tips?

Tashkent is one of the most difficult ships I played with so far, but if played well and with a little bit of RNG luck you can get very nice performance out of it. The biggest dangers are highly accurate cruisers at distances inferior to 11-12km, battleships because of the high speed ammo and because often you don't see them firing at you, and of course torpedo spam. Most destroyers won't stand a chance against the Tashkent, specially at distances superior to 8km, and often I defeated superior cruisers when engaging them between 11-14km. Having the extra range skill for the commander is a must. Its hard to avoid hits with the Tashkent specially when you are spammed with enemy fire, which for some reason everyone truly hates it, its like a magnet for enemy fire, so you have to minimize engaging big enemy fleets, you should pick your fights against isolated ships or small packs. When firing at battleships avoid Americans because for some reason it rarely does damage, and also never aim HE shells at the hull, aim instead at the guns, bridge and engine exhausts area. I rarely use AP because I often aim at causing fires, but it doesn't look particularly sucessful at doing it, so I guess I will start using AP more often against low armor ships. Never chase down enemies when they are heading into an enemy fleet, the slow turn radius will make you die. Never chase down enemies at close distances, for the previous reason and because they will hit your guns and destroy them quite easily, then you are mostly useless, that is if you survive the attempt to turn back. Never attempt to spearhead, let the recon destroyers do it. Also don't go for torpedo runs on open waters, most often than not will result in your death and barely any damage to the enemy, because when they see you they will turn their back and your torpedoes don't like that. In general avoid torpedo runs unless its a good ambush using islands or smoke. To avoid enemy fire you should use both speed changes and turning, going often to 1/2 speed then full and keep doing that, also you should rarely turn your bow to the enemy to avoid hits, the higher profile of this ship will counter that move and hits will happen, not to mention that the low turn radius means now you will have to show your broadside again to turn back. I enjoy this ship, but its very strategic, good luck.

RNG....what is the mechanic behind it ?

Last match with New York killed 5, next killed 0, randomness is more prevalent in low rate of fire ships, that's all, accuracy of weapons is an integral part of engineering, and that is translated into a broad number in WoW called accuracy, there's really no debate to have since without RNG it would be quite the dumb game, and there's really not much to learn about it, shot is fired, random number is generated, shot may hit or may not, that's it.
  6. "MM should balance teams by player skill" Absolutely not, for many reasons which are quite obvious.

You want to know how this game will die? Like this:

The issue is Japanese Destroyers having ridiculously OP torpedoes, and cruiser players being stupid and showing continuously their broadsides to anyone and everyone, I mean, when I kill cruisers at 10km ranges with torpedoes, there's certainly an issue with the player on that cruiser, not with the destroyer. Cruisers are the natural predators of destroyers, but late game they are all dead, hence destroyers rule the ocean.

    My review of the game

So far I'm enjoying a lot the game, but not all is perfect. I have pretty much all ship lines at tier 5, plus a couple on 6 and one on 8, hence I don't have much experience with high tier battles. Matchmaking looks solid, other than rare discrepancies in team strength, nothing negative to point out here. Difference in quality between stock and elite is sometimes excessive, it looks worse the higher the tier, stock ships are sometimes worse than the previous tier, this makes it painful and grindy to play this ships. Difference in quality between tiers when ships are elite looks goods, lower tier ships can be quite useful on high tier battles, this might not apply to all ships but so far I don't feel the pain I felt in WoT. Spotting system is ok, compared to WoT is a pearl (The whole single reason why I stopped playing WoT). Smoke display is awful, you don't know clearly when you are in the smoke or not, you don't know where it starts and where it ends unless you are km's away, the spotting mechanics become completely ridiculous with all kind of oddities happening. The balance between the different types of ships is arguably solid, it depends a lot in the amount of ships in the engagement, the type of map, the teamwork and individual skill. Destroyers - This are at the moment the most prolific ships, usually on the top 5 of any game there's at least 3 destroyers. In 12v12 Cruisers go down quite easily due to lack of teamwork and lack of individual skill (players continuously showing their broadside to battleships...) This leads to matches with low count of cruisers and cruisers dying quickly, therefore destroyers can operate and sink easily carriers and battleships. Japanese Destroyers are clearly OP, not sure what the devs are thinking with the new patch changes, making them even more OP? I for one love my minekaze and my mutsuki, can't wait for higher tiers, and their 100 torpedo barrage........ Soviet and American destroyers look balanced. Cruisers - In ranked cruisers are very dangerous, in 12v12 cruisers are usually the most irrelevant ships for the reasons above, the issue is for the most part, lack of player skill and lack of teamwork. Battleships - They look extremely dependent on the so called RNG factor, other than that, they look ok. Carriers - Atm imo carriers most important job is recon, finding and keeping enemy destroyers spotted. Fighters are extremely strong, the strafe ability is ridiculously amazing. Dive Bombers are usually completely useless. Torpedo Bombers are great but they are always dependent on the enemy team not having super AA ships, which at higher tiers is pretty much all ships. Carriers definitely need a buff, either in the form of decreasing AA efficiency of certain ships, or a direct buff to the airplanes health/speed/whatever. EDIT: The "paytowin" features look well balanced, but a little expensive which is the reason why I still didn't commit money to the game, this isn't clearly a so-called triple-A game, so with 40 euros I should be able to finance a lot of gameplay which I feel I won't. Oh and the FPS is just awful bad, almost impossible to play some matches, my computer should allow this game to be run on medium to maximum settings, not even at minimum setting runs good. All in all, great game, having a lot of fun!
  9. Definitely there's underwater shells penetration and/or damage, I had a lot of matches with destroyer where people hit the water near me and I get Heavy Damage, and since Kiev is a glass cannon, two of this wreck it. Not only that I remember one of the shells hitting the water on a paralel line to me and do Heavy Damage, so not sure if this is just general game [edited]or HE shells exploding underwater.
