So I'd like to voice my opinion as well.
To get the Takao you need a T9 or T10 ship which creates several problems for me.
- I got a Yamato and a Taiho to clean the mission, both of which I'm utterly bad in.
- I don't enjoy playing either of those. a) because I'm bad in those and b) because I don't want to drag my teammates down.
- I enjoy playing T5 to T8 with an average Tier of 6.15 with over 1,4k matches. - I think I'm pretty okish on T5-8 with a winrate of 55% overall.
- I'd like to get the Takao because I think the Atago (which I also own) is a cool ship and has a good handling. Plus free stuff is always welcome. What that mission does to me is:
- Dragging me out of my comfort zone.
- Destroying enjoyable matches not only for me, but above that for all the teammates I get matched with.
- Getting me flamed all game long, because I'm not doing incredibly well on T9 and T10.
- Being sorry all day, for all the bad gameplay I cause for my teammates. It's not like I won't be able to get her. It's perfectly doable in 2 month time. It's just that I'll hate me and everyone else in my team for the whole durration. Which leads to not having fun for everyone. And that is what I initially came for. Cause this is a game and it's supposed to be fun. What was the problem with having T8 as requirement? I mean I'd always prefer a fully equpped Takao over any T8 stock ship. So it's not like having a T9 requirement is helping at all. You could queue with a T8 stock ship for ranked all day and it'd be worse. tl:dr I have to destroy the game for 11 other guys, just so I can get the mission done.
