If by "unplayable" you mean stupidly overpowered instead of hilariously overpowered, then yes, Massa is unplayable.

@Estaca_de_Bares In a shima, my opponent in a uniquely boring T10 game, cyclone, my DD died instantly, blind as a bat, 15 mins of blindfire in my hinden. Prime example of the scoreboard being a joke sometimes, he came in last with 800xp but him spotting and being patient was the N°1 reason his team won ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Match without DDs or CV Smashed my hindenburg into a rock to keep the cap contested. Half their team was on the other side of the rock, my support was half our team, including a GK division sitting in J10, humping the edge of the map. Also, people with 200 ships probably have a ton of premiums, that means you can scrap a bunch of captains anyway. Do the math on that, how many millions of XP are you recovering this way?

Oh, yeah, didn't think of that, then sure keep crappy tech tree ships but just scrap the captains on the ones you play 1X/year for coal/steel

I can see why this update would seem daunting if you insist on 200-400 ships with high level captains but, why exactly do you need 200-400 ships with high level captains? Just sell crappy tech tree ships and scrap the extra captains with silver for elite xp. When's the last time you played your hipper & colorado? 2015? It's a good opportunity to get rid of some bloat.

Where is the option for "Yes! I sold my youngest child into slavery and set aside a budget of €12.450,00 for patch 0.10.0" People are responding as if a 19pt captain is a huge handicap tomorrow, it's not.

You're going up a few lines that are forgiving to play but you won't play them when you're experienced. To make the most of what you're currently doing : Keep going up the US BB line but stop at north carolina, she's a keeper. Stop the US light cruiser line, it's all junk. Go up the US heavy cruiser line instead for Baltimore and Des Moines. Stop the German BB line at T8 at Bismarck, it too is junk but at least it's fun. German cruisers go all the way, T10 hindenburg, forget everything else. Play Yorck and Hipper while intoxicated so you don't remember any of it. And don't skip playing destroyers, understanding all 3 classes is important, play real destroyers, guns first, torpedoes second. Gadjah Mada, Jervis, akizuki and Lightning are some solid picks at T7/T8. Torpedo spammers can be strong but if people use WASD keys, you're useless, you want to have torpedoes but you don't want to rely on them because often you can't.

There's no answer to this, 34% is terrible in a zao but really good in a low tier battleship. Depends entirely on what you play so the average over all ships is meaningless. It's going to be higher for a DD main, lower for a BB main etc.

I took a 1 year break from the game and noticed I had time to finish them because they extended the grace period to get them done by a year. You got an extra year ffs.

The entire line up to and including colorado is trash so hang in there, I would get and keep NC with your hopefully high level captain and stop there as NC is the queen of this line, the only better T8 battleship is €35. But there's better options at T9 and T10. If you want a good T7 and T10, go up the Russian line and keep Sinop + Kremlin.

North Carolina is a wonderful battleship at T8, remains the most accurate battleship at T8, it's pretty small and nimble for a ship with that kind of firepower, best AA at its tier, hits like a truck. Massachusetts is objectively better in every way (except if you're shooting from 17km for some reason) But Massa is a busted ship, don't compare ships to Massa. Iowa is meh, very squishy, it's much larger and less agile than NC, it gains nothing in firepower. It's "OK" but not great. Montana is still the king of deleting broadside cruisers because 12 accurate hard hitting guns. It's still great in randoms where you actually get broadsides to shoot, in ranked and clan battles it's kinda bad now because you need 457mm to punish angled cruisers. It's also still the king of deleting light cruisers, from any angle. NC is great, Iowa is meh, Montana is good. All 3 suffer from slow shell velocity, extremely slow for NC.

Learn game mechanics, this is a nerf, not a buff, 51mm wont stop anything, what it will do is make more AP and bombs arm. In much thesame way smolensk had its armor thickened to nerf it.

There's many of us that look forward to the update and are anything but negative, this game has kept me entertained through pretty much the entire pandemic and I'm happy to support them every month with some cash. There's 10 people enjoying the game for every person complaining. As with any business, U rarely hear those who are happy. The amount of players is going up, not down, logic would indicate they're doing more right than wrong. There's stuff I hate too, I roll my eyes when I spawn bottom tier as the only DD in a CV game, it's peak-nonsense, but overall the game is giving me way more laughs than eyerolls.

I did get reported yesterday for a 2600 base XP carry, not sure if it was someone salty on the enemy team or someone on my team for "killstealing" - But it happens very rarely, to me anyway, can't remember the last time. It's obviously retarded, just ignore it. Being reported by the enemy team for beating them are the best compliments

Both powerful but I say Georgia because : -It's not boring, Thunderer is. -It's not being spammed as hard. -It can actually print credits as a true T9 premium. -It's tied with Musashi as the best T9 BB, there aren't any really good T9 Tech tree BBs that compete. -Doing 40kt in a battleship is hilarious. Thunderer won't make you money, you'll be bored sitting in the back and there's tech tree T10 BBs that are as good if not better. Also Ohio exists, it's a bit less effective than Thunderer at long range but at mid-close range it's twice the ship Thunderer will ever be.

MM monitor shows stats and karma, you typically see unicum players have lots of karma, presumably people thanking them for carry. Sure you can report someone for beating you but I don't think that happens often.

If he really insists on playing Smaland as a new player and wants to know how to not be useless : Division with another potato in a smoke DD. Impossible to fail, well, ok, they'll eat torpedoes in the smoke, division up with a potato DD that has smoke and hydro.

Well, excellent and excellent. It's excellent against DDs, if the DDs you're trying to kill are not gunboats played by someone smart enough to just rush you. It's kinda crap in CV games and useless against cruisers and battleships.
