  1. Obviously this nonsense wouldn't work in clan battles, many ways to stop it, your suggestiong being one. But what you're suggesting requires team play, in randoms. I want whatever you're smoking. CV players, like most players would much rather do 5K damage than save 90K HP on a teammate. Very few people play randoms for the win, people play it for the DaMaGu.

Ships that go from Hero to Zero.........

Nelson is not the problem - T7 is. T7 is in the same spot T8 was years ago, people were mostly playing T10, now most are playing T9 so thats where Nelson goes. Sinop is even more extreme, it can tank a bit more but it lacks the range to even shoot back when its bottom tier. T7 is just rough, you get sucked into T9 games, T7 DDs cant do much because they're at a 10% concealment disadvantage, BBs can't do much because they're covered in 26mm and everything else is covered in 32mm or more. Keep your favorite T7s for T7 ranked which, with the new system, will happen often enough. Don't play them in randoms unless you're willing to basically be a bottom feeder 2 out of 3 rounds.

    buff saipan, i am suffering

No please, CVs being played poorly is the only balancing factor.
  4. I like T10, mostly. For all the talk of Russian bias, Russian BBs are struggling more than most with this deadeye J-line snipe stuff

Is That Proper Angling For Scharnhorst?

You are angling more than enough to bounce with your nose but it does not matter against 406mm guns, 406 overmatches your nose except the ice breaker. If you get overmatched, angling less is often a solid tactic because if you show a little side, you bait the other guy into becoming greedy and going for citadels, then bounce those with your belt. Its a skill you pick up rather quickly in T7 because just about everything overmatches everything else

Step 1 - slow down before you pop smoke so you dont drift out. Step 2 - don't just slow down to a halt and stay there, if you do, good battleship players will know exactly where your ship came to a halt and blindfire you, reverse or drive around in your smoke Step 3 - Profit
  7. That's different, their lives don't matter, deadeye should be -90% dispersion when shooting carriers from 28km.

Ranked event as good as ever.

Fixed. Ranked is simple, too simple : Play DD, kill DD, get caps, ignore potatoes, they can't kill eachother fast enough to beat the clock, especially because everyone is blind. Your team is blind because you're not spotting for them on purpose, the enemy team is blind because you killed their DD. If they can't kill eachother because they can't see shlt and you got all the caps, you win.

Ranked event as good as ever.

I recommend British ones because wannabe-crafty's over here get bored waiting around to kill you after you smoked up for the 6th time. Wannabe-crafty's and their planes are the only thing denying my brilliant "big brain" strategy of getting all the caps all the time

Ranked event as good as ever.

There's actually a secret trick to ranked : Team with the least-bad destroyer wins. This rule applies even more to ranked than it does to randoms. Basically play a destroyer, kill the enemy destroyer, get the caps and stay alive. The rest of your team can have spare copies of their 21st chromosome, doesn't matter, you win. If your team has all the caps and all the vision, the enemy team can be twice as good, it doesn't matter. It's almost impossible for the enemy team to kill your team fast enough to beat the clock. And on the off chance this does happen, you killed the enemy DD and got 3 caps, you always save your star. This tactic works so well that you are happy there's a tirpitz on your team who started running away in the first minute, because you'll be so far ahead on points that useless idiot staying alive often results in a win.

Reward for singing up with phone number

500 doubloons is an inefficient way of getting phone numbers anyway. They should just post a phone number, lie, say it's Dasha's, everyone would text that number. Hell I even texted this number knowing it's fake because I just made it up.

    NoZoups easy deadeye skill counterplay!

He says he's sorry if you didn't understand that clearly, what he meant was "Planes don't negate the skill, but planes allow you to know where that battleship is, go to him and negate the skill" - That's not just moving the goalposts, goalposts might as well have wheels. If a battleship with 25km range is shooting, you don't need planes to tell you where it is. Oh sure, Thunderer pummeling you from 28,25km, let me just quickly go to him in my vladivostok, I'm sure Thunderer can't burn me to death six times before I get there. But he did at least at some point say he was wrong and some ships are now a lot more accurate than he is comfortable with. This is correct, deadeye makes some ships broken when played in specific ways and divisions. Zoup is a content creator and decent player sure, but half the people who responded in this topic are better at and thus have more knowledge of the game than him. Questioning Flamu's advice and opinions is a lot harder even if you don't like him, because he's actually abnormally good at the game, he plays a ship he's never played before casually because someone in stream says "play X" and accidentally sets a world record when he does it.

    How to enable "dazzle"???

Dazzle is not worth it because Dazzle can't be worth it. The way DDs die if they are actively dodging is they get spotted and everyone starts pummeling shells. -Potatoes will send shells on the DD's current path and miss (or, more likely, not even bother shooting it because they know they can't) -Good players will send shells on the DD's predicted path (this is a mix of good predictions and RNG) Because getting hit is a mix of predictions and RNG, Dazzle is just as likely to get you killed as it is to save your life. The only scenario in which a dispersion debuff could potentially save you is in a DD vs DD fight, but then 20% debuff obviously isn't enough. It's basically just throwing away 4 points. People shooting you are guessing, 20% dispersion debuff is just as likely to make a shell that would not have hit you hit you - as it is to make a shell that would have hit you not hit you. Meanwhile radio location is also 4 points and allows you to avoid the situation in which you're getting pummeled entirely, no RNG involved.

My Win Rate Skyrocketed since the Rework

Your own skill has some impact on your winrate but not a whole lot, because the vast majority of games are won by whichever team has competent DDs unless : A) You're decent in destroyers and you play one, this skyrockets your winrate because your team has at least one competent destroyer, you. B) You're so good in cruisers and battleships that you can offset incompetent destroyers on your team, because you're killing everyone so fast you're not giving bad DDs on your team the time they need to throw the game. Basically if you want your winrate to go up hard, there's two ways to do it : Become decent in DDs or become a god in CAs/BBs. Becoming a good CA/BB player will make your winrate go up, but not by a lot. The thing with warships is destroyers win the game, everyone else is there to help them win. OK, there's 3 ways, become good at CVs would be the 3rd way.
  16. The combination, very specifically : As you spawn, CV can drop fighter planes in front of you 7km out. If he's in division with deadeye rangemod thunderers, they can now pummel you to death with HE in your spawn. This leaves you with 2 options : A) Push forward to get the planes in your AA range, taking down the planes would take too long because your AA was already wrecked by Thunderer HE, by the time you do manage to get rid of the planes, you're enjoying your third permanent triple fire and surface ships spotting you would take over the plane spotting. B) Reverse/run for cover, this way you might get out alive without burning to death, but since the planes were dropped 7km in front of you, you would need to turn around and head for the J line for 4km while getting pummeled by Thunderer HE before you go unspotted, on the slim chance you survive, your ship is roasted. If executed properly, there is effectively no way to not burn to death in your spawn. It's especially painful in Russian battleships because pushing forward is pointless (you can't hit a thing over 16km, you're getting pummeled from 28,5km) - And you have limited damage con, you just spawned and used them all to maybe avoid death. It's very specific, a battleship (especially Russians) being focused by a carrier and two rangemod thunderers, i'm not losing my mind over it because it's so specific, but I can tell you, spawning and burning to death before you were even theoretically able to get into cover is cringe, hard cringe. You effectively spawn dead

    Noyal Ravy? What is NR
  18. I would but then other decent players will assume I'm at 39% winrate and let me die, as is tradition with hidden profiles.

Builds For 10-15 Skill Point Commanders

If you're playing for fun and/or damage. If you're playing to win, you need radio. Torpedo DD : Radio lets you devastate other DDs with torpedoes and avoid gunboat DDs hunting you. Gunboat DD : Radio lets you hunt and kill other DDs, among other things. Not having radio against another DD that does is a brutal handicap, you don't overcome it with 5% more damage or 10% more fires. Same applies to PT on cruisers and BBs, it's vital information, making your ship 5% tougher doesn't compensate for the lack of vital information. Obviously assuming the user knows how to get the most out of radio and pt, this takes awhile. Even in a gunboat dd vs gunboat dd fight, radio is a bigger help than 5% dpm, because your guns are pointed in the right direction when the engagement starts, you get 1-2 salvos off before the other guy turned his guns around, a 5% dpm buff doesn't offset that.

Builds For 10-15 Skill Point Commanders

First 10 on a DD : Preventive maintenance + last stand + survivability expert + concealment expert 13 = Add adrenaline rush 17 = Add radio location The last 4 points depends on the ship - MBAAE on russians, Pyro and heavy ap shells on british, fill the tubes and liquidator on torpedoboats etc.. First 10 on a cruiser : Grease/Consumables/Feeder depending on the ship + Priority target + Adrenaline rush/consumables depending on the ship + concealment. The rest varies greatly on what kind of cruiser it is First 10 on a BB : The least useless 1 point skill + priority target + Adrenaline rush + Concealment expert 14 points = add fire prevention (add emergency repair expert on russians) 18 points = add emergency repair expert (fire prevention on russians) 20 points = priority target 21 points = The second least useless 1 point skill Don't skip taking PT on cruisers and BBs because it's 2 points now, the skill remains mandatory. Don't skip radio on destroyers, it's mandatory, unless you don't care about fighting other DDs, in which case, you should stop playing DDs. You need 17 points for a decent DD captain, 20 for a decent BB captain, cruisers depends on the ship but cruisers are viable with 10pt captains, everything over 10 will make your ship better but it's going to be OK with 10 points, mostly.

    NoZoups easy deadeye skill counterplay!

The thing with Notser is, I understand being positive, but he's so desperate to be positive that he will just straight-up make up game mechanics in his head. Notser vs Flamu is like the nice guy that's wrong about everything vs the jerk that's correct about everything. I'll take the jerk with accurate information any day. What notser does is of no help to anyone, it's the world of warships sugarcoating channel, even if he has to make stuff up, worth it to coat that sugar. His ship "reviews" are useless too, every ship is "ok" - They're all OK. From the biggest pile of junk to the most overpowered ship in the game, they all get the same review "it's ok" "you can have fun with this" "you have to decide for yourself" Ok dude that's not useful stop wasting my time.
  23. Sure for now but how long until more people find out this is basically 100% guaranteed quarter million damage and a win without ever even being at risk of being shot back.

    NoZoups easy deadeye skill counterplay!

I'm not impressed with the deadeye sniping potatoes but yesterday I did face an MVR + 2X Thunderer deadeye division. I was in a sovietsky soyuz. My range is 18km, what the F was I supposed to do against being permanently spotted by planes and getting multiple triple fires stacked on myself in my spawn. I turned off the stupid NoZoup video at 2mins and 50 seconds "Just PUSH" PUUUUUUSSSSHHHH. Ok buddy I'm in my spawn, I just spawned and got a second set of triple permanent fires on me, the thunderers burning me to death are about 10km beyond the max range of my guns.
  25. A halland and a Daring guarding a crucial cap, we had no way of dealing with them. So I popped hydro in my hindenburg, sailed into them and killed them ... with torpedoes. I died to a yamato but I also died laughing, it won the round.
