-I like almost everything about the rework, even deadeye is fine, although I'm not using it on anything. -I like the new UI. -I like how captains can have builds for different classes, smart move weegee, I avoided buying premiums before the rework because I couldn't be bothered training up new captains for premiums, I actually buy premium ships now, not just premium time. -I like how AA cruisers are a thing again, sort of, some of them anyway. -I love how AR now buffs AA, something I suggested many times before there was any rework. What I don't like -The new expert marksman makes no sense, it does less on ships that really need it. Like DDs with bad turret traverse, you would think EM helps, it doesn't, not anymore. -The way below-average players respond to having deadeye, sitting in the back, but that's their fault, not wargamings. The only thing I would change quick, like in the next patch, is bring back the old expert marksman, the new one makes no sense. Like on DDs with bad turret traverse, you're spending a skillpoint to shave off 2 seconds from your 180° traverse, you don't even notice this.

I will never understand the secondary meme, if I played Germans, I would use the same classic tank build I use on Russians, Americans, American premiums and everything else. I played GK on test servers a few times, I loved playing it like a montana that can get away with showing broadside for some reason, it's basically a montana that can't get deleted. Germans are like Americans except you can derp and not die.

Playing mid tier cruisers, especially the open water long range HE spammy kind, is just RNG. A single shell will randomly hit, overpenetrate citadel you and you are out. Just finished grinding through the Russian CL line, overall I did well in all of them but it's basically RNG. You dodge and spam until a BB gets lucky with one shell. I dislike RNG in a PVP game so I got rid of all my mid tier cruisers unless they have smoke and/or are good island huggers. The decision to get rid of boats like this was made easier for me because I don't like the long range HE spam playstyle. Like if you get blapped in a Fiji or a Baltimore, it's your fault, your positioning was bad, you didn't read the minimap, you could have done something to avoid it. If you get blapped in a Hipper, a Schors or a Chapayev, it's just RNG.

A bunch of activists wrote an open letter to wizards of the coast demanding more tolerance and inclusivity from the company, in fact, both words were in the title of the open letter. You see, in the mind of an actual insane person "creature" in this context could be referring to a person of color. Stuff like this is why people go "God please not again, you already ruined everything" when they see a demand for more tolerance and inclusivity.

This is one of +- 120 magic the gathering cards that was recently banned from the game, unless you are a crazy person, you would have no idea what's wrong with this card. Here's why : "Does not match the color of one of the creatures under your control" - Crazy people decided that this could be interpreted as people of a different color being under someone else's control. Now, anyone who is not completely insane will agree this is bat-sht crazy. Guess what's on the new version of these cards "We're very sorry our previous version of this card lacked inclusivity and tolerance" - Recognize the words? I you don't, you need to go back 8 pages. The fringe left uses words, these particular words, to get companies to do what they want, a world in which fun is very much not allowed, verboten.

It's very simple. Female captains is a reasonable request, the words chosen to ask for it were the same ones that gave us innumerable get-woke-go-broke books, movies and video games. The response is not "haha, women, pathetic" - The response is "Oh god not again, don't ruin this too please" Because we've all seen this ride countless times.

If the question was "Can we have female captains?" Nobody would have even responded, in fact, I think it's a good idea. Pretty much, if someone is actually determined enough to sit at his/her computer just to make others miserable, they're determined enough to make a new account and keep doing it. I don't think wargaming can realistically do much about this, just be happy this is rare.

Of course yes, you would learn a lot, by not going straight to T9/T10. And you would enjoy yourself way more because mistakes are not pushished nearly as hard in lower tiers, torpedoes are slower, shells are less accurate, the people you're fighting are less good, mostly. Nobody here said shooting you was ok, people are saying that you're doing pretty much everything wrong so someone having a bad day might blow a fuse seeing it. Drop back down and git gud with a good lower tier ship, then slowly but surely go up. My first 1000 games in this game was being completely clueless in T10, I didn't have fun and annoyed everyone, I dropped back down, started from scratch, started to enjoy the game, took me another 3000 games to become a decent T9/T10 player. The tiers are designed to be less forgiving the higher you go, you're saying "I am new" and "Do I have a chance to learn" in one sentence. The answer to your question speaks for itself

Many north african nations, algeria and tunesia to name a few, were colonized in the early 1900s precisely because they refused to end slavery. We effectively invaded north africa to end slavery. We literally went there, invaded them, passed laws granting emancipation to slaves and we left. Those are your evil dirty yucky icky white people.

Yes - they - did. There was a european slave trade going on in africa during the north american african slave trade. The Ottoman empire held millions of white european people in captivity as late as the early 1900s. Half a century after slavery was abolished in america. Everyone did horrible things to eachother through history, this is not unique to you and your ancestors, stop hating yourself.

There's never been less atrocities than in the last 70 years. When kids learn about colonization and slavery, they should also learn that the British empire effectively bankrupted itself going around the world to end slavery.
