    Unfair practice in ranked battles.

If you *really* insist on being terrible and going to silver, the only way is for 6 other people to carry you. The least you could do is make it easier for them by playing a T9 ship that is not a destroyer. By being terrible and playing a T10 ship and a destroyer you are making it impossible for 6 other people to carry you. Play a T9 cruiser instead, this way you are the least impactful ship on your team and it is easier for decent players to carry you. Even @DFens_666 and his buddies could not carry a potato T10 DD in a 7v7. How do you not understand this after sixteen thousand games? You're mathmatically the worst player on your team. By being useless in a T10 destroyer, the most important and most impactful ship on your team, your team is doomed to fail. Be a potato in T9 cruisers instead, you will rank out in one day despite being terrible, because unlike a T10 DD, it is possible to carry a potato T9 CA. You want to get carried and you are playing the one ship class that can't get carried. I should have probably not told you this because you'll make it to silver doing this and I dread to think how many people you'll make suffer in silver. Play a T9 cruiser, a low-impact one, a spammer, like play Roon or something and just spam HE from the back line. You'll rank out in one session because it will be easy for decent players to carry you and at least one ship on the enemy team -which, statistically, will be played by someone better than you, because everyone is better than you, because math- he will be in a T9 cruiser, because you're in one.
  2. Use the right ship obviously, I'd probably do this in Gadjah Mada + Q.Rong + Pyro + fire flags + 20% extra range : 11% fire chance on 72 shells per minute and you can sit in smoke for 420 seconds or 7 minutes and burn everything 14km around you. Also, unlike thunderer, it's actually fun.

    Unfair practice in ranked battles.

He wasted 4.860 people's time forcing them to qualify him for silver and now he's wasting more people's time after he already got what he wanted? Why would you do this? At least play random if you're terrible and playing for no reason, a little decency.

Again, "Worst player" award and thread

This is an unfortunate "tactic" to rank out. When I was ranking out there was a no-camo shima on my team that just spawned and straight line suicided into the cap, I checked later, he played almost 1.000 games in a few days AFK spamming DDs doing 0 damage. It's people so bad at they game they don't even try to win anymore, they just AFK spam games, hope they get lucky with teammates 15 times in a row between protected rank 5 bronze and silver league for the 400 doubloons you can earn there. They could buy 2500 doubloons with savings on their electricity bill not doing this but whatever.

    Legendary Pan EU Captain

Because it's an incentive to play objectives as they release, every game like this does it. I missed out on Lutjens and didn't finish my grind for Kuznetsov, cost me 350K coal to get them. I did get Swirsky, saved 175K coal there.

    Unfair practice in ranked battles.

There is no need for this as opposed to what? Lie? Nobody is served when you play into someone else's delusions to avoid giving them the hard truth, the only way to rank out with his horrid stats is get very lucky with 6 good teammates 30 times in a row, the odds of this happening are small, that's why he's at 810 attempts and counting. He needs to stop spamming games and after sixteen thousand matches watch some tutorials tips/tricks on how to improve. It's astounding to me someone would do something sixteen thousand times, be terrible at it and just keep doing it instead of taking a break to find out what he or she could improve to stop losing.

    Unfair practice in ranked battles.

    > There is no unfair practice. > You're at 45% winrate -& sixteen thousand matches, 42% if we exclude slaughtering bots in low tier. > You made 810 attempts at ranking out this season with 44 different ships, your performance was bottom 0.1% in all 44 of them. It's impossible to be worse than you without actively sabotaging your own team, the only unfair practice is you wasted 810x6 = 4.860 people's time, forcing them to carry you to silver where you clearly do not belong. Being the worst player on your team 810 times, well, actually, sixteen thousand times, and creating topics demanding more from your teammates is cringe. I really hope you don't make it to silver because there you will waste far more than 4.860 people's time - forcing them to carry you to gold.

    General CV related discussions.

Last ship on my team : Me in my "FCK CV Hindenburg" - With all AA skills, the AA module, DefAA instead of hydro, fighter instead of spotter. Last ship on enemy team : Lexington, T8 CV. My job for the win : Chase the lexington for about 10km and kill him for the win. Couldn't do it, he killed me before I got close enough. A T10 ship that's stacked for AA, stacked beyond reason for AA cannot beat a T8 CV in a 1v1 situation. I thought, surely in this situation AA will prove useful, nope. The "one strike guaranteed" policy truly makes it so that in a 1v1 situation, no ship in the entire game can beat a CV, except for, well, another CV. He just went from cover to cover slowly killing me with the "one strike guaranteed" policy. He never got two strikes, but that did not matter.
  9. Dear wargaming have you no heart? I was just in T4, minding my own business, you know, slaughtering noobs and bots in my Hosho, the most infamous sealclubbing ship since open beta. And while I was slaughtering noobs and bots who don't have a single AA gun on their ship to defend themselves, because I'm too incompetent to even consider playing a T5 game, in come these ... these monsters! They were, ... They were actual people! Real players! It was ... The things they did to me wargaming. Some of them actually fought back!! I was ... THEY SHOT ME! It was terrible! Please wargaming, won't you think of the children, won't anyone please think of the children, I shouldn't be shot by ships in my Hosho, I'm supposed to just farm everyone to death without ever being shot. Please wargaming, when I do literally nothing except sealclubbing in T4 carriers, this is fine, it's ok when I do it, but think of the children and make sure nobody can come down to T4 and shoot me.
  10. The only ships you play are Hosho and Langley, all you do is genocide bots and noobs in ships that don't even have rudimentary anti-air guns, when it comes to seal-clubbing, looks like you're not setting a great example "for your son" in this entirely fictional story you just made up. Langley and Hosho are the worst seal clubbers, it's like seal clubbing but the seals are drugged and your club is actually a machine gun. My spider senses tell me there is no son, you just faced some people who disturbed you slaughtering bots in T4 and you turned it into a melodramatic story about a fictional little boy crying about 21 point commanders. Admit it, you were in T4 slaughtering bots in your Hosho, a division of actual people showed up to play for the first time in days and you didn't know what to do because they weren't bots.

    Ranked Battle MIXED lvl!

This is your second "REEEEE DELETE CRUISERS, ONLY BATTLESHIPS ONLY BATTLESHIPS" topic. Mixed-tier is there so good players can challenge themselves and make it more likely to save their star if they carry a losing team while bottom-tier. It's a great feature
  12. Winning when your DDs explode early is extremely rare, this is amplified by how people respond to their DD exploding : "My DD exploded, this game that's been going on for 40 seconds is lost, I will now do a U-turn, kite away, give up map control and farm some damage in this inevitable loss" To win in this game you install monitor, you check which destroyers on your team are competent, if your team has any competent DDs, you do anything to help them win their cap and keep them alive. If there are no competent DDs on your team, you should kite away before he even dies, because he will die anyway. If you're in a radar cruiser and your DD suicides, you can still do something by pushing, taking a beating and taking out the enemy DD, likely trading with him, that way you're dead but your flank still has a chance to win. Very few people are willing to do this though because muh damage numbers. If you're in a BB and your DD dies, you're out of luck, but it was probably your fault anyway because you were 24km behind your DD.

    BRonze > Silver playoffs

When I was doing my playoffs there was a shimakaze on my team that spawned and straight line suicided into the cap, I checked later, he ranked out by spamming 92 games in which he did 0 damage, he used 37 different ships to do this, he had an average of 4 ships in battle at any given time. Some people rank out spamming the battle button, killing themselves and hoping their team carries them 6v7 five times in a row. After 92 zero damage games, he actually did rank out. He's going to do the same thing in silver in two weeks, but in silver it doesn't take 100 suicide games, it takes 1000. Last season plenty of people had 30% WR in gold with 1000-1500 ranked games played. Just spam until you get there
  14. Deadeye is actually a bad thing for players with bad aim, because the citadel hits they got were the shells that suffered from bad dispersion. For a bad player, good dispersion is a bad thing, bad dispersion is a good thing, unlucky shells become lucky shots.
  15. In "world of whichever team has a competent DD wins" - I do not understand why anyone would submit themselves to play anything else. Especially in Ranked, playing cruiser or battleship you winning is in the hands of RNGesus, if he gives you a competent DD, you win.
  16. COPlUM

This is how it is at lower tiers?

The game starts at T5, T4 is : -Bots wihout AA -CVs slaughtering bots without AA to pad stats -Drunk discord meme-divisions -You, if you're dumb enough to actually play T4, don't do that

    British Destroyer advice?

But as others have said, with your experience, don't play destroyers at all, yet, especially not the british, they're the least forgiving branch of the least forgiving class. You are by far the most crucial ship on your team, if you mess up, your team is all but doomed to lose. There's a reason people prioritize shooting DDs, there's a reason you spawn and random ships click you to say "protect that target" - Even cruiser and battleship mains know very well : Bad and/or dead destroyer = Lose. They might not say it or even like to admit it but they know, destroyers decide who wins, everything else is there to help them win. If you're in a radar cruiser and you have a competent DD in front of you, helping him win, even at the cost of half your healthpool, greatly increases your odds of winning, if you keep that guy alive, he will spot, cap and kill the enemy DDs to make the enemy team blind. Games spiral out of control in favor of your team if your DDs win, that's why a good cruiser protects their DD and a good battleship protects their cruisers.

    British Destroyer advice?

Hell no British DDs are for securing objectives and hunting other DDs, as these are my favorite things to do in warships, British DDs are my favorite ships in the game. You don't rack up extraordinary damage numbers, but they rack up XP, because you're clearing objectives and killing destroyers. They're designed for this : - Monstrous DPM at close range with terrible shell arcs at long range : Perfect for murdering DDs at close range, bad for farming other ships at longer ranges. - Short range long duration hydro : You don't eat torps from other DDs and you can push into their smoke - Short duration spam smoke : CV can't prevent you from playing objectives the same way it can prevent other DDs - Good conceal, the only DDs that outspot you are Japanese torpedo boats but the difference in conceal isn't that big, you rush them down and melt them Remember to use AP on the T9 and T10 for increased DPM, at T9/T10 they get British CL penetration values so they are almost like tiny minotaurs in that sense. It's devastating to other destroyers, even a Harugumo can't out-dpm you, and it certainly can't outmaneuver you. If you rush down a shima in a daring, he'll just roll over and die, your job is to clear objectives, kill destroyers and make enemy destroyers extremely hesitant to break through the lines and go after your battleships, you intercept them and you kill them. In British DDs, ignore your damage output, it's a non-factor, you play that ship with one thing in mind, what does the team need to win, I do that thing and nothing else. For someone playing the objective, there are no better ships. You can support fire on BBs with your 40 seconds smoke with hit -& run tactics but farming BBs is not what it does best. If you want to farm battleships, play literally any other DD line, all are better.
  20. Scientists of the Van Allen Institute of Brain Science (AIBC) studied the brains of a Thunderer player, a live specimen, while playing world of warships. Their findings were extraordinary to say the least. Apparently every single thought in their head is replaced with "start a fire on a battleship 23km away"

    General CV related discussions.

The guy El2 is arguing with, his argument is pretty much CVs are not OP because bad players play them too, wargaming cannot balance CVs around unicums, because if they did, normal players would hate them. While the first half of that argument is silly, the second part is true, but you can interpret that as wargaming had to make CVs OP for regular people to enjoy them, doing so made them the most busted ship class for people like El2. The argument seems to be, if carriers were not OP, the type of players who eat flak would not find them enjoyable, this is true, but it is also incredibly messed up. Thats like adding McLaren to a VW beetle race because stupid people want to win too, yes, but now what happens if an actual race-car driver gets into a McLaren and joins the race.
  22. Half my team got wiped almost instantly but we won 6v12 with losing only one ship. Me playing Jutland, two great Georgia players, an Alaska, a Seattle and a Z-44. We were not a division but we certainly played like one, we were coordinating better than most clan battle teams, calling out targets, DDs smoking up cruisers, the georgias timed their push perfectly. I really needed a match like this because there is nothing I hate more than knowing my side lost after 2 minutes, an example of turning things around. That Z-44 was actually a potato that left his flank early but we needed him and he did what we asked when it looked like we were turning things around, run away and grab 2 uncontested caps. Could not have done it without him, he bought us time.

    General CV related discussions.

Question : Are CVs OP? The top winrate for CVs is far higher than any other ship, this suggests they are OP Answer : No, that's just because the best DD/CA/BB players can only dominate one part of the map, the rest of their team can still get crushed on the other side. Meanwhile the best CV players can go wherever they are needed to win. El2azer : Yes, that's why they're op That video is 3 hours of someone knowing CVs are OP, knowing why they are OP and still saying they are ... not OP.

1 hour and 45 minutes into that video Ahskance : A well played surface ship is like a very skilled technician, they can fix machines, the CV is just a superviser, is that a good analogy? E2azer : No CV is a very skilled technician with a jet pack.

Video is not very interesting to anyone here, he's just saying what everyone already knows : - It is possible to mitigate a large chunk of CV damage (Just Dodge™) by turning in such a way that you get deleted by surface ships instead. So what people do is let the CV violate them, as it is the lesser of two evils. - The only way to not be in a position where you are offered the choice of "die by enemy ships or die by planes" - Is sit in the back of the map all clumped up to merge AA, this makes matches with CVs painfully boring for 22 people who aren't playing a CV. We all know this, why do you think this topic is 298 pages long
