Yes, Sea Lord is on Flamu's level for competence/being informative and entertainment. Ichase is possibly even better in terms of being informative, but he doesn't make a lot of content. Aerroon is an official CC and interesting/fun to watch. The other official CCs, can't think of any I enjoy watching, I haven't checked all their stuff, I know zoup and gibbins are cringe. Zoup will just sit there discussing imaginary game mechanics he just made up in his head and talking about his kids, I mean fine, you have kids, so do I, that's not why people watch your videos though. Tell me things about the video game that are not made up please.

I actually didn't know the new kots will not have CVs until mrconway pointed it out just now, I just assumed the memes about kots getting CVs were true. That is great news, although apparently it's not really news. Many people watch king of the sea because it's so tactical, you can debate carriers until the sun goes down, tactics are out the window with CVs ingame, that's not even up for debate.

It's true, the real problem is Flamu dedicated all his time to discussing a country that does not exist and has not existed for 35 years. Every time he uploads a video I hope he's going to play world of warships but he's actually just talking about perestroika and glasnost reforms.

Am Flamu fan and convinced you kicked out your best content creator but I do want to highlight this part. He should not have said the "deadeye changes - empty your wallets boys" thing. Patchnotes specifically said if further changes are needed, people will get free respecs again. Fair is fair, that tweet was trashy.

Insufferable, in this particular clip he's sitting there being a boomer, blaming "border glitching" because he can't shoot a stalingrad 1,4km in front of his yamato. Then he just says screw it and plays raft. Guys like Flamu and Flambass pull people in, they pulled me in, this guy? Come on.

As we're talking, Flamu does a video where he casually plays rangemod deadeye slava - 315K damage 3100 base xp without moving his ship and/or leaving the spot where he spawned, just to prove a point. If the most negative content creator is also by far the most popular one, perhaps considering some of the grievances is not the worst idea. He said cruisers would get butchered this patch, he said DDs will have 4 skillpoints to spend after the 17 mandatory ones, he said BBs would hump the border like never before, he said deadeye will cause a chain reaction where everyone is almost forced to use it, he said nobody will use the skill where you burn 30% more, he said both dazzle and outnumbered are basically 4 skillpoints down the toilet because one doesn't work and the other is impossible to trigger. He was wrong about exactly 0 of these claims. Everyone here uses deadeye, nobody here uses the skill to burn 30% more, or outnumbered, or dazzle, it's all junk. I was looking forward to the skill rework, I was a fan of rework, expected more diversity, what did we get? You spend your 17 mandatory points on a DD build, you got 4 points left, all the 4 point skills are trash so you hesistantly pick up a nerfed version of BFT for 3 points and leave your captain at level 20 because other than PM there's no 1 point skills even worth clicking on. What did we get for battleships, get deadeye or get rekt. I hate to say it but the dude is right

idk about flambass but flamu did walks around his house, guy is actually well off, there's no way doing warships videos with 120K subs is paying his bills. Besides, not being a CC does not strip him of his ability to make warships content.

This led me to conclude that for him, the best and the most fun is the same thing, he just does not realize it. So I just said kitakaze because its fun and one of the best

I'm a huge Flamu fan but this tweet was nonsense, the patchnotes literally said there will be corrections after the rework and there will be more free respecs with those corrections. He shouldn't have said that because there was no indication wargaming was going to do this. They're not evil or stupid, hordes of people would just stop playing this game if they did that. I'd quit in one second. He didn't expose some dark secret with that tweet, get your panties back on, he was being a douche.

You see why if someone has one spare epoch camo, it's probably a safer bet to slap it on kitakaze or jutland, they compete with even the best T9 premiums. It's ok, we told him there's some ok T9 tech tree battleships, but would you really play it if you have georgia or musashi? If the reason for getting it is "well, I can't get georgia or musashi" - Not a great reason to invest heavily into a ship with perma camo and dedicated captain. Totally different story at T8 where some tech tree ships give even the best premiums a run for their money. I'm not afraid of any T8 premiums in N.Carolina, Baltimore or Lightning, my ship is different, not objectively worse. Meanwhile I'm terrified of musashis in an iowa, my ship is just objectively worse.

Some of the stuff he said that was supposedly very naughty was just true though, not even vaguely interested in watching the next KOTS anymore with CVs, why would I, tactics and strategy is out the window, might as well watch my own replays in random battles. Are you going to watch KOTS when it's two blobs of ships desperately trying to not get bombed by planes? You can see that on your screen right now if you play the game, there's no need for KOTS to see that. Or the recent thing about destroyer skill rework not being diverse, is he wrong? You can invest 4 skillpoints on a DD captain, because if you didn't invest these 17 skillpoints, you're doing it wrong. If pointing out flaws makes him a jerk, then so be it, I don't think he minds.

I like the guy because I do not want my information sugarcoated, if something is crap, tell me, I want to know, if something is OP, tell me, I want to know. That's why I watch Flamu and not zoup or notser with their feel-good-be-happy-fun-times content, they will say literally anything to be positive, even if it's complete nonsense. But sometimes Flamu was being negative for the sake of being negative, like that last tweet where he said wargaming will replace deadeye with something else and force everyone to waste doubloons on reskill, there is no indication of this being true, the patchnotes for the rework literally said "If we make corrections, there will be more free respec" You can be a fan of someone's work and still be like "dude, come on" sometimes.

Good choice. You'll love both. Loving north carolina will take awhile though, all her positives are offset greatly by painfully slow shells. But you can practice that. No amount of practice can give other T8 BBs north carolina's sigma, AA, concealment, agility, small profile, hard hitting guns etc. It's a ship that's not easy to do well in but very rewarding once you git gud in it. You'll struggle to hit stuff at first but be patient, she's incredible. Kitakaze is, well, just be very agressive when you play her, that's all it takes to do well in kitakaze. And don't go for the IFHE build to farm BB bow/stern. Hunt DDs and melt cruisers in it, much better.

they're noob ships, i don't mean that derogative, game needs ships that are new-player friendly. About musashi : It's a T10 yamato at T9 with decreased accuracy, it was always OP for T9, add in the fact that only veterans have it and the fact that deadeye makes musashi more accurate than yamato was 3 weeks ago, it's now literally a T10 in T9 played exclusively by veterans. So obviously it's going to do well

weegee decides who is and isn't a CC, their game, they don't even need a reason. Likewise, flamu doesn't need a CC account to make warships content. this is going to change zero things

You shouldn't, no concealment, no torpedoes, they used to have speed as a gimmick but the French are way faster, ships with insane shell velocity were implemented to counter French DD speed, made Russians obsolete because they are fast but not fast enough to dodge 1000m/s guns. Russians have one DD worth getting, Grozovoi. Getting it is a struggle, many turds on the way to T10, but I'd say it's worth it, wonderful ship.
