  5. You could ask el2azer or lordcrafty, doubt they will make time to show you something everyone knows though. Bad CV will eat all your flak, good CV will eat very little flak, unicum CVs eat no flak.
  6. That means you're facing carriers that can't dodge flak, it doesn't mean nobody can dodge flak, there's people on this forum that only play CVs and haven't been hit by a flak puff in months.

  9. Bottom tier yourself and focus shooting T10 DDs, you either win or keep your star because you get way more expee doing this. If you're under 50% winrate you'e looking at a thousand games to rank out in silver though, similar to how 45% players need a thousand games to rank out bronze.

    Actually nevermind, it's correct, there really is an overwhelming amount of destroyers in ranked. Step 1) Battleships cry for more buffs, rework buffs battleships and screws cruisers even harder Step 2) Cruisers stop playing because they get devastated in their spawn Step 3) People realize ranked is full of battleships so they start playing destroyers Step 4) Battleships are now effectively drowning in torpedo soup because their ships were buffed too much

    1v1 brawls coming up, what will happen to this topic? Will it explode because it's not even theoretically possible for a CV to lose 1v1? Will it calm down because there will be less CVs in random battles and nobody but CVs will touch brawls?

    That's how it works with or without deadeye. This suggestion would make Russian ships actually overpowered because they have a gimmick where accuracy is through the roof if they get close. If the deadeye were reversed, the same potatoes humping the edge of the map regardless of how the match plays out, would push in regardless of how the match plays out. The suggestion would just change thunderer spam to kremlin spam If powerful skills work only when your ship is in a specific location, bad players will do dumb things to be in that location.
  14. German tech tree is all about crutches, they're designed so that new players can perform reasonably well in them but they don't provide good players the tools to carry a match. You put a bad player in a minotaur, he'll think it's garbage, you put a good player in a GK, he'll think it's garbage.

    This please, nerf it and remove the condition so people position their ship according to what is going on in the match, not according to where they need to be to make the stupid skill work.

    Obviously not going to happen, BBs outnumber every other class hard. Image posted by OP is super rare and a result of too many overmatch BBs and deadeye making cruiser life harder than ever before. Cruisers didn't get anything with the rework, some options to boost AA a little. Meanwhile battleships became 19% more accurate (10% better dispersion is 19% more accuracy) and they heal for 10% more. Cruisers got rekt with the rework, there's no shame in admitting this, a certain individual that's no longer a CC said this would happen, it was pretty obvious to people paying attention. Cruiser life was already sketchy with the never ending supply of 457mm BBs, making them 19% more accurate just killed cruisers. Except for a few very niche smoke-cruisers I'm not interested in playing them anymore, I don't play this game so someone else can farm devastating strikes and laugh. You can't even fight back against a battleship from behind an island anymore because you need 27km range to shoot back.

    The way to fix a problem is not do the exact opposite of what you were doing. That would results in complaints of people rushing in and dying. Also Russian bias would stop being a meme and become real for the first time. Everyone trying to get as close as possible? Do you know how Russian accuracy works? Just nerf it and make it work regardless of where your ship is located, so people can stop humping the border and please don't give them a reason to yolo every game. If you have skills that only work if you're in a certain position, people do dumb things to stay in that position. How many times have you seen BBs reverse until there's no map left to make deadeye work? You want to see BBs push into certain death constantly to make deadeye work? Having skills linked to positioning at all makes people "chase the skill" instead of positioning properly.

    I hope they keep deadeye in some (nerfed) form - but change it so that it is no longer an excuse for people to hump the border.

    The reason concealment expert is mandatory on DDs is because everyone else does it, you don't want the other DD to be able to just keep you spotted while his friends spam you to death. Theoretically, if everyone stopped using concealment expert tomorrow, every DD player could save 4 skillpoints and not notice any difference. If we get a 4 point skill that amplifies concealment expert to provide -15% instead of -10%, you now have 4 extra mandatory DD skillpoints. I don't like this idea because a DD captain already has 17 mandatory skillpoints, your idea would make that 21 mandatory skillpoints, leaving exactly 0 skillpoints to play with for diversity
