Good, you saw the Flamu video, so did everyone else. Try to keep an open mind when consuming content though, I hate CVs, I watch Flamu and even I was sensing some willful ignorance on Flamu's part. The weegee employee with the thicc French accent did give a nuanced answer to the question why do CVs consistently do the most damage : CVs sit behind an island and farm meaningless damage for a few minutes after the match is technically already lost. I don't like CVs, I don't like anything about them, I think they're terrible for the game but asking a question, getting a proper answer and ignoring the answer is on you. There's a logical explanation for at least some of the extraordinary numbers CVs put out compared to other ships.

In all the battles you posted the enemy team had CVs played by bois from Enuf and A7. If the DDs on your team lived longer than 3 minutes they weren't letting you down, they were sweaty tryhards and overachieving. If you run into this guy are you going to blame your DDs?

Brits are good at it but pan asians are the god kings of smoke. Your next smoke is up as soon as your smoke is gone and it lasts 2X as long, pan asians get the crappy deep water torps and the ships themselves aren't impressive, people tend to ignore them but they can spend 4-5 minutes in smoke pretty much uninterrupted. About CVs in 1v1, I figured it would be 2019 all over again where CVs are the supreme ruler and everything else is vermin, I was wrong, most maps are unsuited for CVs to take a dump on everything. Fair is fair, weegee got the maps right, some maps well played CV can't lose, some maps well played CV can't win. Kudos for allowing CVs to play and somehow finding a way to not make it a CV vs CV only mode.

You could use these ships for the first weeks of CB and you'll almost certainly be able to use them for the following weeks, patchnotes said they will ban ships for short periods of time to shake up the meta. There wasn't some general assembly saying these ships can never be used in anything but random battles anymore. Lets also not throw sand in people's eyes with the title "most fun ships" they are not banned for a week because they're the most fun, they are banned for a week because they are the best and you can play all night without seeing anything else. Spreadsheets can't measure fun, spreadsheets can measure what ships are in 95% of team line-ups. Musashi is the biggest offender, when you're in Georgia and you face musashi, you're playing a bullshlt ship and you ran into into an even more bullshlt ship. Musashi with deadeye is a yamato, it's more accurate than yamato was 3 weeks ago. It's supposedly "balanced" by having bad AA, but there's no CV at T9. You're effectively playing a yamato in T9. Musashi had 2 weaknesses, one was removed years ago when T9 carriers were removed, the other was removed with the rework. It is now by far the most busted T9 BB. And it always will be because it's premium.

If yammy doesn't get LU shiki has 10% better dispersion? Didn't know that. How does it compare to something like Georgia dispersion? Because getting hits in Georgia is comfy despite her also having 6 barrels. Is it comfy enough in Shiki?

If you get bad dispersion with a 6 barrel ship, you're going to be a lot more sad than getting bad disperion on a 9 barrel ship and why compare one ship with modules VS another without? Yammy can slot reload mod too, if it isn't, it's running unique mod, better traverse and accuracy. The way I see shikishima is yamato with less impressive main battery and better AA. I'm not hating on the ship, it's a cool ship, I almost always see it being played by very good players but I just assume they play the ship for fun -& because they don't need the best to perform. Might even get one myself because I got yamamoto in kitakaze for fun, he kinda belongs in a BB.

50% less guns is not offset by 10% quicker reload and 20% more damage per shell, bad salvos screw you a lot harder on a 6 barrel ship vs a 9 barrel ship. Yammy just hits more stuff because it has 9 barrels. Also less overpen. I'm pretty sure people playing shikishima play her for fun and for the sound. You're skipping over the 6 vs 9 barrels thing.

Don't ban these ships for a month or whatever though, a week here and there is enough to shake up the meta so it does not become stale. There really are people that got these ships for RB and CB. So like, if Georgia and Alaska are no longer allowed in competitive modes, I would have gotten Pommern and ägir instead because they're probably more fun in randoms.

FDR : It's OP because it's a carrier but every CV main will tell you hakuryu and midway are better. Somers : Want to spam torps? Do you enjoy getting violated by planes and getting your teeth kicked in by other DDs if they come near you? Get somers, or just get shima, same thing. Stalingrad : Do you like eating torps? Do you like being on fire? Do you like smacking things really hard if they are not paying attention? Get Stalingrad. Bourgogne : Actually good T10 BB, not easy to play though. Plymouth : How much do you hate DDs on a scale from 1-10? If you said 12, get Plymouth. Note that 1K steel is 10K coal, nothing stops you getting coal stuff with that steel if there's coal stuff you want more.

Going to see a lot of kronstadt now or some other T9 supercruiser, and missouris. Possible regular T9 cruisers will be decent if they have 30mm plating because there will be no more 457/460 punching straight through.

If there's a "clash" over who gets to play alaska, doesn't sound like a team I'd want to be a part of. Just look at who plays it best and what other ships other people have available. Why should you care what ship you play, the goal is winning.

If I got a penny for evey time a kid says they will sue wargaming, I would have a lot of pennies. I'm a fan of temporarily banning ships from CB so we don't see the exact same meta ships all the time. And just to prove how consistent I am when I say this : I have a small fleet doctrine, one DD, one CA and one BB for every tier. My T9 ships are : Kitakaze + Alaska + Georgia. Wargaming just banned two thirds of my T9 ships for a week and I'm still in favor of this temporary rule because every battle is one or two DDs, a bunch of alaskas and musashi/georgia. I thought it was a good rule before, I just got two thirds of my T9 ships banned and I still think it's a good rule. Just don't ban ships for more than a week or something because people did get those ships to play them.
