  1. To be honest. RTS genre is one of the most played and most people like/played it. The problem isn't the RTS style. It is the laggy UI and missing teaching of ingame mechanics. And then what I really hate is that WG didn't learn anything from the incidents with the Chrysler tank in WoT and the GZ in WoWS. You still lie to us, you want that kind of rework for the Console controls. I honestly think you won't manage the balancing. As an exmaple. You gave USN CV's 1 setup, but left the IJN CV's 2. So you tried to balance 1 setup around 2 ones and failed completly. I just hope you don't just shift the problems, like I belive. Instead of really fixing it. But I still look forward to it, because I hope the best for the rework and would really like to test the new gameplay. Since I own and played most carriers in the game except for GZ. And I am one of the better players. Good Luck WG, balancing the new CV's and submarines. P.S. What I would like are camos for the planes. Because we will end up seeing those a lot. Like having blue planes on my IJN CV that uses the alternative blue perma camo.

    1. Description Game crashing when starting the client and playing the first battle. 2. Reproduction steps Starting the game client using WG Game Center Going into a battle. Loads into battle and I can see the battle for some seoncds, like with ships and map and so on. 3. Result Game gives a crash report and I need to start the game and hope it won't crash again. 4. Expected result Battle would start and I can play the game, join the fight without restarfing. Sometimes even multiple crashes. 5. Technical details For this I made a screenshot of the crash report. (with Discord in the background, sorry for that)
  3. If you need a second CV Main I would be intrested. I have to say that CV's were my first played ship class so my stats are quite low though. I would be intrested to get into the CV competetive, I would try to learn from your cv main. Get into the whole competetive cv gameplay. I learned auto drops with IJN line and fightercontrol with USN ones. But I think you already know that I am kind of special. I would also promise to not cause any trouble, I will follows the commands and stay calm. I think you are aware of my let's say questionable history. But who knows, mabye I have learned something or I haven't. Only time can tell. :( And sorry if this post was inadequate.

    Bug Reports

    I had an issue were enemy ships didn't render for quite a long time into the battle for apparently no reason. Please fix that because this random bug had way to many impact on my game expierence. 1. I just started a game and went into the cap. But no enemy ships were rendered 2. Maybe same happened to other people? 3. Not being able to see enemies that you should see. 4.To actually see the enemy when I should spot them. 5. Around 21:55 CET today

    I really like the alternative blue perma camouflages for IJN ships that you unlock with the Yamamoto collection. Great that you added it. I apreciate your work, espacially because blue is my favorite color. But I need to pint out 2 problems I have noticed with IJN. I discovered something I would consider a bug or mistake when it comes to the Ryujo and it's perma camouflage and the diffrent hull versions of the ship, avaible as upgrades. The flight deck of the ship is only painted on the A hull and not on the B hull and C hull. So you don't get the really nice visuals on your ship with the expensive perma camo. Due to that I didn't bought it yet. I looked into the files and realized that the file for a painted flight deck on the B and C hull exists but isn't working as intended. So please look into this and see if you can fix it. Maybe check also the Hiryu, Shokaku and Taiho with their perma camouflages and diffrent hull versions. (The diffrent stats should be enough to prove that diffrent hull versions were used when looking at the perma camo) I also am disapointed that there isn't a painted flight deck for the perma camouflage of the T10 IJN CV Hakuryu. Could you please add a painted flight deck? Maybe use the painted flight deck of the Taiho perma camo as an inspiration, because the Hakuryu is a larger Taiho (when you look into the design). I know that you maybe don't want to improve the Hakuryu's perma camo right now due to the sale of the space camo, but it would be nice for all people who bought the quite expensive T10 perma camo and supported you. The next design thing I would like to adress is that we can have blue carriers now, but the planes are still green. Could you give us the option to also change the color of our aircraft to green, when we have unlocked the alternative blue perma camouflage for IJN carriers? I will give you an example of a real plane, but you could also make your own fantasy blue plane camouflage. Maybe a graphic designer who wants to be creativ could do it. Yamamoto Isoroku can provide unique abilities and turn the tide of a battle, if you can activate his skills. But he isn't any special in Operation or Clan Battles. Maybe copy his abilites and let those be activated in Operation also by certain achievements. Consider if you would like Yamamoto's unqiue skills in Clan Battles, it could make Yamato more viable in Clan Battles. But it could be to strong so maybe make unquie achivements for Clan Wars too. I would appreciate if you could make a tutorial series for customizing the game. So you could make the first episode for all the mods that are allowed and which ones aren't. Then show people how they can change the basic looks of their ships. How they can change the camouflage pattern and change the colors for certain parts of the pattern (by changing the values in the xml file). So you could make a contest for the best playermade, customized skin of a ship and add it later to the basic game files.

    1. If you ram the USN CV Raptor in Operation ''Raptor Rescue'', before the carrier itself started moving, he won't start moving at all and you can't complete the Operation. 2. Start the operation and ram the Raptor, before it started moving by itself. ( I didn't tried it, but it should work) 3. The Raptor will never arrive at the ending point of the operation and due to that the Operation will fail. So you loose and can't do anything to prevent this loss, after the Carrier is bugged. 4. The Raptor should still be able to move to the end of the Operation, even if it has been moved. Because this makes the Operation literlally impossible to win, when the bug occures. 5 . No bug or crash report will occure, because you just failed the Operation, due to this bug. But i think the problem could be that Raptor isn't at the starting point of it's pretederminted course. In this pictures you can see that the Carrier didn't move, even at this point of the operation. We tried to push him, but it was to late.

  9. Hello OMNI-Community, I am a german 17 year old boy. I play WoWS for nearly 2 years. I am not the best player but I think that I am better than avergae Players in CV's. I have a Chapayev and Akizuki, also a Grozovoi, Midway and Hakruyu. My stats aren't the best, but I try to improve. I am really intrested in competetive games. I watched many tournaments and enjoyed them. With the addition of Clan Battles I hope to find a good, active community that will take part in Clan Wars. As a CV-Main I only would have the Grozovoi and free 10 ships.     I forgott to meantion the Udaloi. The Buff to the Ognevoi and Grozovoi was really needed. Now the Ognevoi has good 10km Torpedos and a good concealment, you can reach 6,1km detection range by sea. It is a good Hybrid with focus on it's torpedos. The Grozovoi also has a good concealment, you can reach 6km. The Grozovoi has good 10km Torpedos and great guns. The focus is more on the guns. Grozovoi and Ognevoi can contest a cap because of their Concealment. An Udaloi is a complete other Typ of Destroyer and doesn't fit well between these two ships. Why is the Udaloi still like the ship before the Khabarovsk? Please can you buff the Concealment, of the Udaloi to the Stats on the Ognevoi? So you can reach 6.1km detection range and contest caps. Please give this ship also 10km Torpedos. Please buff at least the Concealment, if you don't want to buff the Torpedos. The Udaloi would still fit perfectly between the Kiev and Khabarovsk, instead it should play more like the Grozovoi.

    Greetings WG Crew, I play mainly Carrier and have a big problem with Dive Bombers and the american CV Line. How many Torpedos hit with Torpedo Bombers is skill based, you can master the drop and let around 80% of the torpedos hit. Dive Bombers are RNG based and can completly miss the target even when your aim is perfect, especially the american Dive Bombers with their huge drop radius. So the american CV's have the Problem to rely heavily on RNG based Dive Bombers. The japanese carriers are way better because they are Torpedo Bomber focused and you deal more consistent damage with Torpedobombers compared to Dive Bombers. The japanese CV's can fight very well against battleship's and destroyer's while american CV's are only good at fighting battleships. I use Striker-Taiho and Striker-Essex as an example. A Taiho can make a 12 torpedo drop against a battleship and deal a lot of damage and normally cause a flooding, around 10 Torpedos will normally hit. The battleship is forced to use his damage control, because of the flooding and when his damage control is over he can easily set on fire with the good drop radius of japanese Dive Bombers, which will cause 2 or even 3 fires. The battleship will die to damage over time. The Taiho can make a cross drop with 3 Torpedo Bomber Squadrons at a destroyer or cruiser (without defensiv AA) and normally the destroyer or cruiser is deletd by a good cross drop. And you can set the Cruiser easily on fire if he survives with your japanese Dive Bombers. And you can launch an torpedo attack into smoke to kill hiding ships or force them to leave the smoke. Essex would attack a battleship with 1 Dive Bomber and 1 Torpedo Bomber Squadron and force him to use his damage control party. Then he does a second attack with 2 Dive Bomber Squadrons and set him on fire. Dropping at battleships with american Dive Bombers works really good because the pattern is battleship sized. He will also die to the damage over time. But trying to kill a destroyer or even a cruiser can be a very frustrating experience. A good destroyer player can easily dodge the Torpedo droped by the Torpedo Bombers. And you can't cross drop him. Normally your Dive Bombers will miss the destroyer or even cruiser, because of the drop pattern size. I think like 90 of 100 Bombs droped on a destroyer will miss or deal only small damage. Then you have 1 drop where all bombs hit and delete him completly, but this happens every 80 games. The Squad Setup of japanese CV's is much better compared to the american ones. A japanese Striker-Setup CV is way better than an american Striker-Setup CV. Because the Japanse have Fighters and more Torpedo Bombers. The japanese Carrier can easily shred enemy planes and block the american CV. You have to get to the Essex, to get a Fighter Squad with the Striker-Setup. And a Striker Taiho still has more Fighters. The japanese Fighter-Setup CV has way more striking potential compared to an american Fighter-Setup CV. The japanse Fighter-Setup has 1 Fighter more (with Air Supremacy) than the american onse up to T9 where things change. A Fighter-Midway has 1 Fighter more (in the air with Air Supremacy) than the Fighter-Hakuryu. but the Hakuryu can deal more damage with 2 Torpedo Bomber Squadrons and 2 Dive Bomber Squadrons compares to Midways 2 Dive Bomber Squadrons. So the japanese carriers are superior compared to the american carriers. Could you please adress the problem with american CV's? Why can't there have a team 2 T8-T10 Carrier's? When a Team has 2 T7 Carrier's why can't a Team have 2 T10/T9/T8 Carrier's? 2 Saipans in a Team are very strong and can be a game changer and 2 Kagas have also a big influence on the game. 2 Carriers per Team make a game very special. 2 T7 Carriers per team in a game with many T5 ships are very good. So why not 2 T10 Carrier per team? Where is the CV-Rework and what changes do you plan? Will these changes for Carriers make american and japanese Carriers competetive? Are there any planes for british CV Line in the future? Premium Carrier Problems. I know you don't nerf premium ships or don't change much of them like with premium tanks in World of Tanks. But some of these changes would improve their performance and help the games balancing. Some of the Premium ships have big issues and these changes would make them more competetive and versatile. 1. Kaga: The Kaga has 2 diffrent Striker Setups. The first is Dive Bomber focused and the second is Torpedo Bomber focused. Their is no use for the first Setup. The Dive Bombers deal a very small a mount of damage even when all bombs hit and you loose Fighter Squad. I really want to see a Fighter-Setup for Kaga. It could be 3/1/1, so you have a chance to fight other Carriers who use a Fighter-Setup. Could you please add a Fighter-Setup to the Kaga? Or even remove the old Dive Bomber Striker-Setup for it? 2. Saipan: The Saipan has very strong Dive Bombers. The drop pattern is very small, espacilly when you know that you have 9 Dive Bombers in the Squad who can all deal up to 10800 maximum HE damage. I would like it when the auto drop pattern is bigger than the manual drop pattern, because this makes the Dive Bombers to easy to use. The pattern is bigger than the japanese Dive Bomber Drop Pattern and as big as the american Dive Bomber Drop Pattern for manual drops, this is fine for the manual drop in my opinion. But a good drop should always be a manual and not an auto drop. So please change the auto Drop Pattern to the normal american auto Drop Pattern. 3. Enterprise: The AP-Bombs work with Ap-Shell mechanics and that is a huge problem for me. The AP-Bombs can completly delete a Gneisenau, Scharnhorst, Bismarck, Tirpitz and Friederich der Große. But against other ships they deal an a very small amount of damage. The damage is inconsistent compared to HE. As an example how it should be (dropped at any battleship, same amount of bombs hit) : If an HE Drop would deal 10k damage while setting the target on fire an AP Drop should deal 15k damage and doesn't set the target on fire. This would make the AP-Bombs way better and game experience for geman battleships would be increased. The german battleships have a weak torpedo protection for a battleship and a big superstructure that can easily be set on fire, so they already have a big problem with carriers. But the german battleships have a good AA. And the AP-Bombs make these ships worse to play. The Torpedo Bombers and AP-Bombs of the Enterprise are to much for these ships. 4. Graf Zeppelin: The Fighters of the Graf Zeppelin have the second worst HP of all (completly upgraded) T8 carriers and also the worst Damage per Second of all (completly upgraded) T8 carriers if the Enterprise uses Dogfighting Expert. You also have a very low resere of them. I would like it to see the Fightes buffed. So they have 2k HP and a Damage per Second as good as the Damage per Second of T8 Lexington Fighters. it would be also nice if the squad size for Graf Zeppelin Fighters is without skills 5. So the Graf Zeppelin can be a good Carrier. I'm really excited to see the final setup or setups. I would like to see a 3/1/2 or 2/2/1. It would be nice if you put in both Setups. when the Graf Zeppelin sell is launched. The secondary range of 7.5km is also very nice, I like the idear that it is riskier for DD's to get very near for torping the Carrier. (Could the Taiho/Hakuryu get 7km secondary range? And the Essex/Midway get 6km secondary range? So the Carriers have the same Secondary Range like the nations battleships of this tier?) It would be nice if the Ju 87 C Dive Bombers get the Jericho Trumpete while dropping. It would be a very cool feature of the carrier. I hope the drop pattern of the Dive Bomber is very good. Like the japanese Dro Pattern on all Tech Tree Carriers. So the Bomber could be used effectivly. Problems with battleships like the Hood. I am really happy that you removed the defensiv aa and radar from the british high tier battleships. Thank you really much for that response to the community. And will the Carrier UI be changed. A the moment the UI reacts very slowly nad often you have big lags. It is very easy to activate some bugs with the UI. Strafing out of a dogfight locks the enemies Fighters, so your Fighters can escape. But I can use another Fighter Squad to delete the locked enemy Fighters with a Strafe. Is this intended?     Fehler&Probleme

    Ich habe festgestellt das die Hakuryu mit dem Fighterloadout (Flightcontrolmodule: Type10 mod.3) ein relativ schweren Bug hat. Das Schiffsauswahlsymbol überlagert das erste Fightersquadsymbol. Das heißt ich kann mit der Maus nur sehr schwer dieses Squad schnell anwählen. Könnte das bitte behoben werden. Dankeschön

    Night battles & severe weather

    1.)Please WG can you delete the Cyclone completly from the game. 2.)(If Option 1 is impossible) Change the cyclone and balance it. You have big problems spotting planes. You can't do something with 8km spotting range. All your entire game content is unbalenced in a cyclone. If a ship is bigger it get's easier detected, even in a cyclone. Please fix this big issue in your game Thanks Wehr_Wolff

    Public Test 0.6.0 - Changes for Test 2

    1) I get lots of credits with my CV's. 2) I only loose 1-3 planes by an attack with my Taiho on the mainserver. Or in an Hakuryu on the testserver. And you have enough to replace this planes. If you attack with 1 squadron you loose many planes. But if you coordinate your 3 torpedo bomber squads in an Taiho you loose less planes. After the Repairteam is used attack with your Dive bombers and set him on fire. 3)Didn't played Alpha. Sorry 4) The most played class is Battleship. It is verly logic that most of these players hate CV's, because were the most dangerous class for them.
