    Developer Bulletin for Update 0.11.7

Good. Removed the inferior coal reward ( if you for some reason still prefer coal get the steel and convert 1-10) Also good to get the actual resource. Now you can spend the resource as you want. And even use it with discount coupons in mind.

Worthless camos in armory bundles, why?

More camo is now an inferior alternative for the more credits crate..since my camo's are now being sold immediatly. Since sell value of a camo is between 22.500 and 45.000 i rather take my chance with the credits... Or just pick the coal one :)
  3. Yes XP, beyond Base XP, does not longer effect your CXP. But you are compensated by way higher CXP bonus numbers. While no longer have to spend XP flags etc. So you can spend your bonus way more dedicated. Want to farm CXP, equip high CXP. Farm FXP, equip FXP bonus. Want all, just equip all. In the old system you had to equip all dragon flags and camos to max out without the option of focussing only one type. And permanent ship bonusses are changed to compensate for the change. Instead of 100% xp bonus, you now get a separate 100% for Xp, CXP and FXP. So there is no major nerf...
  4. I had so many T2 ( green ones) that I sold the fewer T1 ( grey ones) I had. Not yet touched the blue ( also quite numerous) nor the reds. I play most of my games with premiums or fully researched silver ships and hardly have need for xp bonusses ( if no xp farm missions are on). I find that a set of greens equal my old cheap setup of the non dragon flags and basic permanent or mediocre one use camo. For xp it also helps that the FXP gain has been doubled to counter that only base xp is now counted. Will wait for Narai ( which was always my FXP farm ) and see if my Weimar equipped with blue’s ( with the exception of the xp one, since no longer needed) and the premium bonus of a T7 compares with the old setup of a good camo ( not the mosaic ones, I consider them “ red level” but still the better ones) combined with a full set of dragon plus the basic economic flags. I expect to lose. Or, specifically, lose on whatever I focused on before considering my choice of the old camo bonus. ( old camo with either a strong FXP, CXP or silver focus) but gain on the others. Also my supply of blue flags will last way longer then the numbers of runs I could afford fully decked out with dragons.

Expendable cammos - what's the point in them?

T6-T8 are my preferred tiers for silver ships. And I just like them to be “ not naked “. Plus the basic camo looks way better ( most of the times) then event or one use camo. So better buy it now before WG “ gifts” me a free ugly permanent camo which results me no longer having access to the discounted prize. Its costs me some D now but also creates extra silver due to able to sell one use camo’s because not needed AND still be not naked. I am for example very upset for being forced to buy the imo ugly Hawke ( T8 UK BC) event camo first before actually being able to buy the bonus and the Hawke itself. Rather pass and buy the regular camo for 100D…

Expendable cammos - what's the point in them?

WG already profited. I equipped many T6-T8 that were still without permanent camo ( because I did not want to spend the 1000-3000 D earlier) with the cheap 100D cosmetics. Not that much of an amount since many are equipped with previously free event camo + occasional bought versions. But still 4K D ish. So now 80% of my T6+ has a fixed permanent camo. With the remaining ones being snowflake duty only. Any rond time use camo goes into credits immediately. My only dissatisfaction is that some event camo are so ugly…and I am not paying full prize to get a more pleasant camo.

Straight Shootin' Bots are Back! - PVE Update in 0.11.6

Already found out that in previous patches the bot cv’s have some aim ( atleast with rockets) against my dd. But did not yet notice better aiming of the main guns. Also more often I find the bots opposite of me go to another flank. And then have no problem showing broadside. The main change is the noticeable change is the coop credit earning. Not that coop is profitable but it’s less bad.

Cashing in your Camo, what did you get?

Only 8 M. Always sold off camo and flags when they surpassed a certain threshold or, specifically camo’s’ are inferior to other camo’s, in sufficient numbers, in stock. But with any newly received camo going into silver conversion automatically I think finances will improve. I have 3 T10 researched that need to be bought before wows anniversary.

Selling expendible camos now they do not give bonus

Only gained about 8Milion. And spent a few 1000 doubloons buying the permanent camo. Rather spend 100/ 200 D now then risk ending up with an event ugly camo and only have the option to buy a decent camo full prize… Having permanent camo also gets all camo rewards directly converted into silver. Yes and playing naked ( the ships!) is now perfectly fine although I am still too well conditioned to not have camo on a ship..

    MOOOOAAAAARRRRRR coal... yeah right.

Checked the coal drop chances and while the first 400 coal is clear 100% guarantee the second is only 5% with the 3rd is either 20%/25%. With now also a chance to drop CXP instead of only FXP. Is this inline with coal drops before?
  11. Well RB can be farmed most effectively by using the double bonus so keeping up the farm in a regular 3 month rotation is the most effective. Especially if you don’t actually buy the ships but do dry resets. And again be the first to outright buy new lines. French heavy cruisers on Thursday, British BC next time etc.. Collecting FXP beyond a certain threshold is meaningless anyway. Converting it into RB is a smart conversion.
  12. FXP is now used as RB currency. Research Bureau ships are the new FXP ships. Instead of 1M FXP for a T9 or 2 M for a T10. If you pick the cheapest line for the 3 month reset ( for the double RB) you convert a bit more then 20k RB for less then 700k FXP. This way a RB T10 is comparable with a T10 with FXP. So continue to build up RB and await the next RB ship. So that when a new ship is released you have both FXP and RB ready, edit: also you can unlock the entire French CA line next Thursday. Plus get all ships a 21 pointer from the start.
  13. You might get a honorable mention on the wall of suckers fame “ whale of the month” award at WG HQ. Thats worth something…
  14. Not true. The future max FXP bonus is based upon you currently stacking both XP and FXP signals to the max. Now you just focus on the single FXP bonus ( together with the double FXP coefficient) while reserving your highest XP bonus on ships you want to level. Way more efficient usage of your older signals since you no longer have to spend your XP signals for FXP farm.
  15. Since I am always credit starved I will wait for the “ disconnect” between visual camo and the actual economic recalculation into new economic consumables. Seems the sell value of camo’s on the ptr are ok and in line with what we get now for selling the current camo including the economic value they have. The moment we are live, i will sell all visual camo’s. Current and newly received ones. Would buy the 200D permanent camo on ships that I enjoy to play. Even if playing “ naked” no longer influences the game. As for regular bonusses. Depending on the amount I have and their usage and supply I might sell the tier 1 ones if tier 2 has a stable enough supply. Might actually use less economic flags since their usage is now way more dedicated. Like no need for xp bonus on a premium ship since it no longer influences FXP, credit and CXP farming.

    Ishizuchi worth it?

Ishizuchi received some nice upgrades after first released like a nice and needed range upgrade. ( and a reload buff?) She is on old stable and fun T4 BB. The best ship you can get from the base T2-T4 premium container. On Steam she is available in a ( sometimes) very discounted bundle. In her current form she is a fun boat to have. Yes CV can ruin the game but that’s not really Ishi’s fault.

    Flag-o-Rama 2022

I think this is a fair event. I just play regular, equipping as many flags as I do normally. With this week the scenario being” one of the better farmable” maybe even a bit more on dragon flags. Too bad there is no counter of the flags used, I might play one more time if that gives a an extra ticket. As for the upcoming changes. I always use basic economy flags, the combat flags are not even changing and Dragon flags are mostly reserved for good scenarios. So I doubt this is an event to scam us to spend flags..

    Iwami in shop

Might be better then Hizen due to more reliant accuracy but JPN BB’s ( exception being Amagi that has some turtleback) don’t take well broadsides. So a semi secondary ship without the resilience to brawl and main guns that scream “ we are good at a distance, no need to get close, makes this a ship with specifically added capabilities that you actually don’t want to use. For coal she is ok. For me with only Forest, Tulsa and Black as remaining competitors she might just be promoted to second in place in priority. With Forest only winning because T10 and thus better snowflake value. But with Kii, Musashi and Hizen in port there is not that much need.
  19. I am struggling whether I will pass or grind. Missions are ok ish with some stinkers but it’s a 10 week commitment. And yes with PR in port either steel or doubloons are a nice reward. ( coal and RB? Lol) Have doubloons laying around to buy the small package or the bigger one. Or even both. Remaining grind would be much more comfortable while still making a Doubloon net gain plus the T7 premium plus the rewards from the other 38 phases. If I go with Steel ( even if without clan modifier) it will give more steel then I make in 1,5 year. If coupons are usable this means 2 new steel BB between now and Xmas with another 3rd BB when the next coupon arrives in Mai 2023. Otherwise it’s going to be a steel ship in December and maybe maybe again early 2024. But with a doubloon loss and way more grinding..
  20. @YabbaCoe Thanks for you clarification. But if I read the text in the news there might be some more misunderstandings.. that really need to be clarified to prevent “ upset” players.. As it says here : exchange PR certificate for either doubloons, steel, RB or coal. And then you can use that picked currency to purchase any T10 ship. ( or anything else what is purchasable with the currency). Especially if you advertise 35k doubloons. Then I want 35k added to my account to be spend as I see fit at a time of my liking. If it is a T10 ship ( a doubloon T10?) the offer is way less enticing. Same with steel /coal / RB. That is way different then a certificate that is in fact “ WG owns you a T10” regardless if this is a coal, steel or Doubloon ship..and is then a trade: 1 certificate <-> 1 T10 ship. WG, Be clear about this..
  21. The most expensive T10 coal ship. Thus not the more expensive T9 coal Neustrashimy and Black then? 2 Questions regarding the amounts coal/ steel. * Do you receive port bonuses over the amount? Like 33k steel plus up to 10% extra if you have the relevant upgrade in your clan harbor? * Do you receive an amount of coal/ steel and can you still use the 25% resource coupon. Or wait spending the amount until another coupon comes available next half year?
  22. Missions seem doable but again very grindy. With no actual grind requirements now I realize how burned out I am with wow ( currently 2-3 coop games max) and do not actually look forward to be committed to an 10 week grind. I do have PR in port. While 33k steel ( plus clan harbor bonus?) is huge I might just settle for a hefty buy in for phases for doubloons ( limited by amount I currently have) added with some relaxed level of grinding and get the doubloons to earn some small profit. Plus the mid tier ship and the other phase rewards.
  23. @YabbaCoe That is not the point. Purely from a visual pov I prefer my ships to have a “ realistic” camo. And that means preferring the basic camo that each T6 or higher silver ship has as an option to buy. So the economic perma bonuses are not relevant here. It’s just wanting to have nice pixels. So for 200D I will buy the basic camo for the good looks. But… since some ships already have a free ( ugly or fantasy special camo I received free during events ) I can only buy the base permanent camo at a much higher prize. I know that now it’s the same. If you want a second camo ( even the basic one) you pay the whole prize even if you have another permanent camo. But now with the split off between camo and bonus there is no need to keep those 2 things combined in the prize tag since camo used no longer is connected to the bonus of the ship. I understand that thematic camo’s that have been sourced from a third party etc.. must have a higher prize. But I am focusing on the most basic permanent camo here. But also from a economic pov for WG. I am willing to pay 200D to replace an ugly camo with a more normal one. I am never going to pay a few 1000D for it. So again it’s not about the prize of specific thematic camo’s but only about the standard permanent camo of each ship. Keep these cheap. Or allow a one time chance of earlier event camos to be traded in for the base camo.

    RP Missions

But you did not notice receiving the rewards after way less completed dailies? You only need 24 missions completed instead of 75 for the final reward. And the time to finish the mission is also much shorter. So it will actually take you less days/ completed dailies to get that 300 RB even if it’s divided into 3 separate RB rewards of 180…

    Why keeping ships?

Never ever sell a premium. The silver compensation is just meh and not in line with its value and port spots can be earned on a steady base. Furthermore deleting a Premium ship just increase the chance you get an unwanted ship again when a SC or Satan crate favors you. Instead any low tier/ bad premium in your port helps in eliminating mediocre ships from the SC/ Santa pool. This can be done even more effective by preventive buying ships for coal ( some nice numbers of Tier 5&6 can be easily bought for coal) and keeping them in port helps you to slowly root out the bad ships and increases your chances for better and higher tier ships. Smart use of your CT also helps.
