WG surprised me in a positive way that atleast the 4 Kongo's and ARP Myoko is somehow free to get although the missions are not really light for a 2 week event.. WG did not surprise me that the 3 other Myoko's , who are imo more characterfull and also were more difficult to get 3 years ago (thus creating a larger market ) and Takao are only sold for hard cash. So you missed out Nachi earlier because of the 20 RU ships? Lucky you! WG offers you the chance to pay hard cash for her now! One could argue that Atago cost 38 euro so ARP Takao (that is now completely "equal") is worth the same amount but still...

Lucky for me that i got them all 3 years ago and kept them in port for these years to see them become full premiums. But nice that WG offers a 2nd chance for players to get them. For once WG makes it easy for me to give my wallet some breathing space after Santa crates and PR. Not interested in the new pan asian premiums or spending doubloons on UK CA’s. But still i hope there will be more then just a second release of the old ARP content. Although unlikely since Maya is a modified Atago ( one turret less with extra aa in place) and would require a new model.. But my weeb side would love “ carnaval dayo”... Musashi/ Yamato could be just camo+ captain but i fear the possible pricetag....

It’s better to die in the first few moments as a complete useless noob then to stay alive the entire game fighting to the last moment because someone will find fault in your actions.... Because the team loss is then your fault and not those braindead windowlickers who died in the first 5 mins... Edit: and when reported like you by a divisionmember the report came in triple?

Well seems there is no additional new content in addition to the extra Takao camo. Was silently hoping for a Maya or even Yamato/ Musashi. Well good news for players who missed out the first time and still want to complete their collection. I hope that WG won’t bleed your wallet completely dry though.

Well the info matches the end date of the former Arpeggio based mobile game that failed and stops this month. Since the owners of Arpeggio would like to monetize their property a 2nd affiliation with WG ( no longer blocked by the former mobile game) might be mutual beneficial. Since such cooperation is not done because they want to nice but for both companies to make a profit, I think that it will be a cash thing now. To sell the goods they had to upgrade the ships to real premiums. Well atleast I already have all ships and also the extra captains that came without a ship. The red Takao camo alone will not make me draw my wallet. Would pay for a standalone Maya (ship & captain) although she was from the first season while all the Myoko’s and Hiei are from the movies. On reddit it was claimed that the voicelines of the ARP captains have been updated to comply with the current voice options. Can’t check today but it fits the idea.

Only have Vladivostok. If I like this ship, will I like Soyuz? I mean is the tier 9 110% or so of the t8?

First of all: Good that you enjoy co-op, its the only thing that should matter to you! Yes I enjoy CO-OP too for different reasons: Missions that are more forgiving in co-op, snowflake win hunting, trying out the new CV play (really bad, dont want to bother my team in a random game yet), inital testing of a new ship, unlocking some modules etc.. Escaping the cv menace. Escaping the sometimes more salty random environment Escaping the frustration of working with even worse players them me that succeed in catching defeat out of the jaws of victory.. Although today it became clear that the better players went back tot PvP since i had some games with really incompetent tier 10 co op players that are so bad i cannot compensate in a mere tier 8. And they do get salty when you call them out for being really bad...

But WG (financial) spreadsheets says otherwise…. And I fear that the Financial bureau has more power then the PR department (if any exist)

Yes, free since the missions are so easy you finish them in the same way as if you finish the goal of getting 2 daily crates. Just by playing you get bundles ( whatever small the reward might be) as a bonus that without this event you just would not get. You even get something by loggin in each day... I call that free in the thought that you receive something extra for doing nothing more then you normaly play the game. In your way of thinking the 3 daily reward crates should be abolished too because you have limited control on the actual drops.. Well someone might if they feel they are entitled to get a premium crate a day and just receive some flags.. Well random means lottery and looking at the polls currently around 30% are lucky in having received a ship by tokens and we are not even halfway the event. Lack of patience and feelings of entitlement lead to dissapointment? Well seems some snowflakes need to find their safespace... I got the Hawkins in my last bundle (11th/12th). Indeed WG offers some low chance/ low value rewards for low effort action on our side. If you are rational enough to consider this you would take this mini event not that seriously. And I am happy with the low effort side here since I had my fill of heavy grinding. So no fanboy or sockpuppet but realizing in advance that this event is a “light version” both in reward and effort with a very remote chance to get something really interesting. So expectations are close to zero and no room is left to be dissapointed. The true problem is with the non- rational snowflakes that don’t get the “ chance” part in this event. There is no ship reward guaranteed, and certainly not at just 40% of the timeline of the event! The stupid chance of getting the ships through doubloons (65k, that more the the direct buy out of PR) should make everyone ignore this part of the event. Would be best that WG had omitted that part and made the permanent camo available through other direct means.

But would you be satisfied if you get the tier 5 or 6? Since these are a lot more common then the 7&8. Probably yes because winning something feels good. But in the end what is the value of f.e. the tier V. If you have unlocked the Danea you need 20 k xp and another 10 to unlock the modules? Probably even less, don’t know the xp cost of a T5. Silver value is around 1,5m? So actually the main reward is like the ordinary bundles: peanuts and yet we all get upset.. Sure you have permanent camo, but on a ship that is not that great in a not that usefull tier.. Fact is that T7 and t8 drop abysmal in the token bundles so this event is just a very petty sideshow in the WG circus.

True, I would prefer an introduction event without any money transfer possibilities. And in this case no one time special camo ( or these must be otherwise available)

Really? WG offers a free and almost effortless event where you, without spending money or without hard core grinding, you can have a CHANCE to get some early access to UK CA’s with permanent camo and port space. Otherwise you get some other small reward items... And you still think you are entitled to receive one or more ships in the first half of the event because??? Sure one gets lucky and get the tier8 the first bundle.. some will be stuck with only T5 or none at all.. So if you get frustrated because you cannot accept that you did not receive a ship yet.. well that is entirely your problem.. Every sane persoon should ignore the doubloon version though ( maybe exception if first doubloon bundle shows a ship) and just cash in the token bundles that you can buy after just playing the game.

Just got Hawkins in my last bundle after finishing 2nd mission. Maybe missed one bundle by not completing all dailies. So 11/12 opened? Happy with a free ship for no hard work with free port, fully researched and free camo. That WG is kind enough to give me and I have absolutely no entitlement to get. Maybe I will get even more lucky with the next 10+ bundles and get another ship. Or any small reward that I am happy to receive. Players really are ungrateful here, hope that next line WG will introduce, there will be no special event and they will just let us grind from the basic tier upwards. And for the doubloon version: I blame the players that gamble and whine afterwards more then WG for trying to profit from these ..

I dislike these trash ships, they always drop in crates instead of really valued ships. Atleast they are high tiers but no love for these fake ships.

The best introduction of a new line of ships was the UK BB’a. Set up was very easy. Three weeks of missions. Each completed target gave you one Flag. You could get 3 flags. One flag gave Bellepheron, the second added Orion. Having 3 also gave Iron Duke. These ships were stock and no permanent camo. low reward, low stress. No money involved and also no gambling! Dedicate some time for 3 weeks get a small headstart for the new line saving some FXP, credits and get 3 portslots as a bonus. Wonder who got more greedy, WG or some entitled players....

And the missions are that easy you do not even need the specific ships to unlock the directive. So a small delay in being available should not really hinder us.

Receiving those ships with ports and permanent camo is not a right! Some people feel really entitled here. The missions are so easy that you can get between 20 to 25 bundles easy without hard grinding. Thats 25 times a shot at some silver ships. Or 25 times other mediocre prizes. Having guarenteed prizes by having say max 25 bundles makes the grind trivial. Or the dificulty of the missions must go up...Which will leeds to more whine. be happy for receiving free gifts for almost no effort. If you are lucky you might get some ships, if not bad luck.

It seems that Japan managed both. At the cost of being overweight. My problem with UK CA is that they are neither good looking nor have a usefull contribution to the game. What is their function in the game since other nations simply do better. Basic: why would i pick an ( imo ugly) UK CA when the current existing cruisers are just better. No disrespect against the historical contribution by the Royal Navy but this line brings nothing extra to the game.

Yep, if you planned in advance and give PR some thoughts in advance you have 3 options. 1. Ignore the event, resign the idea to get PR. Optional try to get some easy rewards by just playing. 2. Set your mind to get PR, plan in advance and buy your needed boosters to balance effort and money. 3. Use your creditcard and spend up to 59k doubloons because you can. Fail to plan and you are stuck with money or/ and effort spend without receiving the PR. Blame yourself and don’t whine towards players who picked on of the 3 options above.

Well next week we will see the release of the 3 pan asian ships. In the next mission cycle of the UK heavy cruiser there is a specific mission to be fulfilled only with these 3 ships. i expect a separate mission only for the ARP Takao alternative Camo to be released soon. Not being part of UK CA event but really stand alone.

He stopped focusing on finishing directive 4. The extra tokens would have earned him another boostbuilding but instead of finishing at phase 4 (the free camo and after that 10 dragon flags) that would only earn him 2 or 3 extra rewards since it was late in the game. So 20 extra flags vs grinding your [edited]off in directive 4 was a no go. So he did not stop playing but simply concluded that the reward for finishing directive 4 was not worthwhile.
