Ok my efforts until now and the rewards: Finished first part of the tasks (6+ 2 crates), 3 bonus crates from twitch, 20 tokens from news: Total number of tokens 130. Average 10 tokens a crate. Bought Bagration resulting in extra mission tokens 210 this week. (And another 630 for the next weeks.) Total of tokens 340 --> bought Mikoyan , 40 tokens left Received weekly bonus for Mikoyan: 105 tokens extra tokens: in total 145 left towards 400 needed for Talinn perm camo. Spending 37 euro will grant me an additional Talinn (the ship) and Riga perma camo. In addition to a rather fine Sov cruiser.

Bought the Bagration. Cheapest version. Reasons: 1.Good ship( well it’s Russian so...) 2. Bonus tokens. 210 tokens a week. Times 4. That’s Mikoyan and Tallinn camo. 3. With the extra bonus tokens ( wg news, First week missions etc) I just got my Mikoyan. Now! So that’s an early 105 tokens in the first weeks.. In total 420. That’s Tallinn. 4. unlimited Powerrrr. Or better unlimited 300% win bonus on each game with Bagration until 11 of July. Not sure intended or mistake but the usual limitations of only 25 wins does not seem to apply. So for 37 euro for a good T7 I get a bonus T5 ( that I would have grinded so not really added value) but also 840 tokens from Bagration and atleast 210 tokens extra for early Mikoyan in port.So that’s Tallinn & Camo and a very good shot at Riga camo.

Well there is no mission visible with a countdown showing howmuch of the 25 missions you have spend... For now Bagration spamming to the max.

Got 60 out of the 6 containers ( did mass opening) for finishing the first set of missions. All other containers ( single mission reward) have all been 5. Edit: for the 3 containers for Twitch mission, 15, 10 & 15. So 40. Which is not that bad.

WG is smart. A Mikoyan only is almost a freebie. You get your doubloons back the moment you unlock her with the added bonus of the weekly extra token quests and slightly easier missions available for Mikoyan owners. So WG has cut off that obvious too good to be true offer....Can’t spoil us too much...

Wow, really inflated prizes for these ships. WG might bank on the idea that playing these ships daily will grant you between 5-15 tokens for the Russian event. And thus attracting players willing to buy them for this added bonus more then the “ pure” ship value of this package.

Well I really don’t see the need for all this fuss. If you did buy the permanent camo for the Moskwa you did it primarily for the cost reduction. Xp wise there are much better camo’s available then the 100% xp that the permanent camo gives. Seems that with the new special ( aka not premium) Moskwa you are even more lucky because the extra discount in costs. And the bonus of freely switching captains. But i spent 5 k doubloons.... Yes and you still have the benefit ( and more) for what you paid for..Did Moskwa changed to be a worse ship? Don’t think so. But other people get the same benefit for free! Yes, and I ( and many others) paid real money for premiums that were given for free or coal in the past by WG. Or have ships that I bought permanent camo for just to find out that WG gives away alternative free camo’s for the same silver ship. So you haven’t paid attention to WG earlier behavior or did not mind until it effects you as a Moskwa owner... Sometimes I miss out on WG “ gifts” because I already had the paid version sometimes I gain from it. I don’t complain when I gain, so I keep shut when I miss out since I don’t really lose anything because the things I paid for was judged “ worthwhile” when I pushed the transaction button. If there is anything “ sour” with the Moskwa ( and Kirov) conversion is the fact that you have to grind again their replacements.

Well I hope with scuttle you don’t mean that you plan to sell it? With the KOTS collection you will receive a free T7 premium. Would be sad if you receive Indi again.

Not sure how WG is going to implement this. Now we have 3 rewards for playing daily, 1.A maximum of 3 crates ( type chosen by player) for hitting certain xp levels. Also comes with 10 oil for clan. 2. Two daily missions of 3 goals each that give 3 times a different reward and 200 coal for completing each mission. 3. in combination with those daily missions you get an additional bonus after completing daily missions 3,9 and 20 times. For now flags and additional portspace. Seems that WG is offering a variable final reward for completing each of the 2 daily missions. So instead of the 200 coal you can get fe 10 steel ( 2x makes 20 daily max) which imo makes this a bad trade-off since normaly 1 steel trades for 10 coal. So steel would only be interesting if you have nothing relevant to buy for coal or just need a small amount to get that steel ship and don’t want to wait until next event/ CB/ranked.

Depending on the grindiness of the directive the free T5 Mikoyan and the extra camo for her will be achievable money free. The next step, the camo for the Tallinn is already more work ( daily 6 containers) and rng based. This is as far as my ambition goes. Have enough xp on Shorchs to get Tallinn and I can afford the modules with FXP. No longer interested to work hard for trinkets. And next patch after we have the Dockyard event and I enjoyed the event free period. ( disregarding polish captain campaign and victory perm camo missions)

I think you just missed out on the last Arpeggio event. It gave away free premium Kongo’s and one premium Myoko. They are completely the same as their silver line variants but with all the real premium bonussen. Permanent camo, premium income bonus, free captain placement, lower cost. Myoko is still to be regarded as a solid cruiser. No longer the best but still very ok. Kongo’s speed makes it a still playable ship when uptiered. Would have been a cheap solution for you. As for regular jpn premium ships shat are available and somehow competitive the good old Atago shines.in fact it’s the only viable cruiserchoice you have for a premium. Yoshino will cost you FXP you will not yet at your stage. Azuma is just very bad choice for your coal. The T5 light cruiser...nah. So once again sad you missed out on the ARP Myoko. As for DD’s I would normaly not advice Yuudachi But you stated that you like the silver T7 jpn DD’s So you might enjoy her. Furthermore a free jpn T6 can be earned by completing a campaign but that requires you to have T8 ships. Regarding BB’s. Well the available ships (T5+) are a bit underwhelming. The MutsuT6 ( wonky shells and torps that require you to show that punishable broadside) Ashitaka ( suffers heavy Dmg from counter BB fire due to bad armor and non existent aa will make you target nr one for any capable cv and BB player) Kii has lesser downfalls but is still not considered good. But before buying a high tier premium think about your current progress in tiers and remember that buying a high tier premium will get you involved in high tier gameplay meta. Something you did not yet progress into with your regular ships...

You are talking about the new sekret Russian tier x DD? Because it wil be able to do this, and more.....

Would any ship profit the most from that white type of camo ( forget name) that gives a 50% credit boost? You lose some money due to lack of a cost reduction but gain a lot on the extra credits. So a Missouri ditching its basic premium camo and getting this 50% + extra credits would be even more stellar?

Not interested at neither 2m FXP DD’s. First, I am not really a dd player. Second 2m FXP is stupidly expensive. You can level 2 complete silver lines and go far with a 3rd one for that amount. Regarding all the current and past FXP ships: Nelson:375k FXP . A no brainer, still available. Missouri: 750k FXP no longer available, but still a good price. Krohnstadt: 750 FXP: ok- ish in my book for this price ( worse then Alaska But 1/4 cheaper) no longer available. Musashu 750k FXP: ok, but it was also available for coal? No longer available. Alaska 1m FXP: Increase in price...ok cruiser but 1 m? I only bought it because I had the FXP refund from resetting my cv’s. Friesland: 1 m FXP: ok, guilty, only bought it because I am Dutch..Did appreciate the ship for enabling me to get the more easy goals in missions and current campaign since I lack other tier8+ EU DD’s. Azuma: 1 m FXP: would have bought the ship with much reluctance...in the end got it with a container during Xmas...wohoo saved FXP! Currently saved up to 820k FXP after spending 250k on boosting regrind lines. Intend to keep it around that amount to have FXP handy for a tier 9 FXP ship that might/ might not come.

Well I am quite happy that WG makes it so easy for me to decide to spend or not to spend 2m FXP on 2 mediocre DD’s. Just have around 900k FXP and absolutely no intentions to buy these ships. And I am quite a collector... Would have been much worse if an actual good ship was available for 2m FXP..... Then I would force myself to get that 2m soon... Now I am happy walking away with no feeling that I miss out on a good deal...

If you buy the containers only for the content ( and the 10 oil for clan) 1000 coal for some credits ( as compensation for the collection item) flags, camo etc..it might not be the best investment. But 1000 coal can be earned a day quite easily. So you just enjoy a bonus container each day ( you have to buy them in 5 though). I think all other coal rewards are better when you buy flags or camo directly. So only real purpose would be if your clan is interested in getting a specific clan upgrade and all are asked to buy 100 crates to increase the clan oil account.

Voted don’t care. I am so burned out on the constant grindfest whether it’s directives, campaigns that I can hardly motivate myself. Atleast with directives ( especially the last 2) you always made quite fast progress. Rewards were small, and the main reward a rng fest But you made progress. Now you have either Repeatable grindfest, rng based requirements or task hidden behind specific ships. Yes you had them too with directives but with lesser impact. And you can only grind 2/3 missions at the same time depending on premium account. Will progress slow but will not specially do things to complete tasks. Will do repeatable collect x amount of certain y. I am almost more interested in the 500 steel then the captain. Normaly I look forward to a new line..now I am already tired in advance for the Russian cruiser event..

My drops after receiving the first 4 containers were 30, 20,20 and 10 for a total of 80. Could have been worse, but at this rate Visby is going to be the only collectible ship.

True, missions are doable even without access to the specific ship missions. And the premium time given to us by WG recently also helps all of us with the types that require you to collect x amount of xp or silver. Did directive 3 in a morning in coop. Friesland for 15 planes, fires and hits. Smolensk for more hits and dots. Finally Bismark, Masa, Tirpitz and JB for the remains secondaries. The five kills came at 2nd Friesland game. If I did not have Friesland I would be 2/3 on credits and xp due to coop but still profiting from premium time. Aka missions are relaxed, it’s the rewards that are RNG. And to have a meaningful reward ( and in my book that’s T7 minimum) you need a fair amount of good luck that not many will have.. And then the main prize ( the permanent camo on that T7) would be a hard grind/race against the clock.

The current options you have now to spend your ( pan eu ) tokens on will remain. There will be no other choices in the future. Atleast not for those 720 tokens. First choice would be to take both the T5 and T6 ship. If you take them now, you have all the time for farming the permanent camo quests. But then is this kind of dd your type of ship? Intermediate option is to only take the T5 and find out if you enjoy the line. Alternative rewards are a bit meh this season. No option to get doubloons this time so limited to premium time, silver and some camo or flags. So depending on your interest in the new dd line, would buy the 2 destroyers, farm the permanent camo and spent the rest of the tokens on things you want most. In theory with still more containers coming you could get lucky and reach that treshold of 600 tokens again ( after buying T5 and T6) to get the T7. So wait with spending on other things then shipsuntil after you get your final tokens.

Third directive just completed. 40-30-20-140-10-20= 260 in total, the 140 drop ( my first) secured the T6. Now only at 150/ 600 towards the T7 with 7 crates.... That requires some solid 140’s.... extreme unlikely. Too bad there is no doubloon reward package to spend my remaining tokens on... In the end I got the T6 a week earlier then expected, so a bit more time to grind that 12500 base xp. All drops from now one will go into credits since I am still quite low in silver.

Izmail is my pick BB for scenario’s. Kept it after unlocking Sinop for farming the better T6 scenarios. Speed is good, fact that your accuracy is great at short ranges is perfect for scenarios. Only turn your guns in advance since that is a bit a downside.

Too bad the captain secondary skill punishes you for tiers below 7. But I thought that the Warspite got a special bonus since people used here as a secondary ship in the old times. Maybe same can be done for PEF?

Complete account? Sorry but did I miss something. You either have wows from the old WG start or the Wows from steam, is there another version like half steam? Like I have the old Wows and have been told I cannot migrate to Steam. My friend has the Steam version ( started wows in steam, no prior wow account). Are there more versions?
