IJN DBs drop pattern is pretty random within the spread ellipse. From my own (still limited) experience with the Haku's DBs it's pretty rare to get a triple citadel. At best I can somewhat reliably get double citadels on what I'd consider to be as perfect as it gets drops. Still 17k+ damage, but the Midway HE bombs raw alpha isn't much behind plus they set fires. And compared to the Midway DBs, the Haku one's are squishy as hell. Where a Midway might press all three attack runs on target as long as you don't go for an AA porcupine, the Haku DBs will struggle to get more than two attack runs into a ship if it has half decent AA. At least with the new DB drop mechanic it's much harder to get a good drop on a cruiser so they no longer lolnuke CAs left and right.

Still, when I compare the XP expectations (XPectations, hue hue hue) from a 30+ plane kill game pre-rework and now it's not quite adding up. If I look at a game like this: I don't see how I got rewarded for the 45 aircraft kills. 2,3k base XP is pretty much flat in the ballpark for what I'd expect for having two solo caps, almost an entire cap's worth of base defense, 3/4 kill on a DD (toptier, same as me), full kill on Ranger and a bit more damage sprinkled around. I would've expected more base XP with that number of plane kills. -

So, according to the live stream Q&A shooting down aircraft still gives XP and credits, i.e.: not bugged. Somehow however that doesn't exactly match my experience ingame where I really don't see any more XP/credits rewards than what I'd expect from just my damage and cap numbers. Had a couple games with 30+ aircraft shotdown when testing AA builds/ships and expected a whole lot more XP than I actually ended up with. If aircraft kill economy is working as intended, then holy moly did they turn down the rewards for it drastically. -

Best thing is you get players, even supposedly good ones, completely flipping their sh*t because CVs don't protect them from the rocket airplanes. Newsflash: CVs can't protect you any longer. Best we've got is on summon fighter patrols that only cover a very small spot of the map and have such unreliably aggro that you can just fly into the patrol zone, do an attack run and fly out without the patrol fighters actually engaging, or if they by some miracle to engage, you just boost away until they stop chasing and by that point the DD will have left the patrol zone anyway so it's free lunch again. It's hilarious to get reported by Hurricane clan members because of that. I'm really sorry your bottom tier DD got raped, but I literally can't do much about it. -
Funny thing is, a proper Kreme sealclubbing captain comes with BFT and AFT ... so max AA build, bruh!

Less "next one will be better" as much as "only the tier X works better". Sure, most ship lines have their stinkers and some of those just reek of being designed to frustrate players into throwing free XP at it and be done, but the entire line?

Hard carry. And no match is complete without some BB complaining about you because you didn't babysit them and shoo away the mean, mean Shimakaze. Guess I'm a douche and no teamplayer because I was busy killing everything on the other half of the map and securing the victory for the team. Hell, I even capped B in my Midway ... even though it was contested at the time. But hey, a lone Conqueror is obviously more important, right? -
The thing is, what WG wants and what's actually balanced are two entirely different things sometimes. And right now the AA is absolutely brutal against uptiered CVs. The only CVs comfortable to play are the tier Xs because they are by default balanced against tier X AA. But you play a tier VIII CV and face tier X AA, you're screwed. You play a tier VI CV and face tier VIII AA, you're screwed.

Actually they did say that continuous dps values are going to be decreased slightly. Now, techncially a 1% decrease is still a decrease alright, but understandably people expected a bit more.

I gotta say that really pisses me off by now. Since a couple patches now after basically every game is concluded rather than give me the battle report as is due I instead get sent straight to port and then have to wait up to half a bloody minute until the bloody servers deign to send me my bloody battle report so I can actually look at the detailed rewards, etc. pp. and it's really, REALLY annoying by now. And I know I'm not the only one because I've been ranting over TS with clanmates about it and they also get the same crap with annoying regularity. What happened to getting the battle reports straight after the game concluded? Why is the game throwing me back to port and making me wait so long for it?

Can't recall if that has ever been disclosed tbh. If it was, then quite a while ago because I can't remember and there's no mention of it in the forum DevBlog entries about the N-DD. Normal tier IX techtree RU DDs come with two base charges on the normal heal, so presumably that will have been the same deal for the N-DD back when it also had the same standard heal. Even so, that wouldn't explain why there's no mention of an increased cooldown as all other super heals have compared to a regular heal. Edit: Nevermind, apparently it's only the RN BBs that had the heal nerfed. RN CLs have the same heal cooldown and charges as standard. -

I plead the fifth. Noteworthy however is the lack of mention about increased cooldown or decreased number of charges. So presumably the N-DD gets all the advantages of the RN super heal, but none of the counterbalancing compromises. -

Uh, I wasn't talking about operations as I'm well aware that's a balancing issue. I was talking about campaigns like "Hit Hard! Hit Fast! Hit Often!" that contain missions that are limited to tier IX and X CVs, which after the removal of odd tier CVs de facto limits the mission requirement to tier X only. And as someone else had mentioned, same thing also applies to the Carrier Commander I emblem.

Not the damage numbers you typically see post-Rework, but damn was that a hard carry. Team was down 200-700'ish with enemy holding all three caps by the time I had a measly 20k damage accumulated (a couple big ship blobs, not something I wanted to drop into after the AA hotfix ...). Had to try and annoy the DDs a bit more over B instead. Apologies to @OTECa1 btw, I was testing how decent the Midway TBs are against DDs ... they said you can't crossdrop with one squadrons anymore, hue hue hue. The damage on those Midway torps is blergh though ... hit you with 3 torps for only 9k alpha (plus flooding). Enemy Akizuki also wasn't quite enjoying my DB experiments. In the end just barely missed the Kraken, instead the Musashi that somehow thought it had to hug my Midway all game long sniped it, grmml. Then there was this neat game: I got to say, that looks like awfully little in the way of credits for a 2,6k base XP game in a Missouri (w/ premium and Zulu flag). Most memorable part of the game was one bloke on my team going all chat how their Missouri (me) was apparently AFK most of the game at the end of the match. No idea what he was looking at to come to that conclusion but if my apparently mostly AFK arse can topscore with 2,6k base XP, then I'd ask what that says about the guy whom I outscored -

The existence of patents isn't evidence of them being used. There's a myriad of patents floating around worldwide that aren't used for various reasons, some more hilarious than others. If you claim MM is rigged, you'd still have to prove that, not point at something that could be used to manipulate it and then call it quits with that. He doesn't have to. You made the assertion that the MM is manipulated, that means you've got the burden of proof to supplement your claim. You have to prove it's manipulated. Pointing at the patent as evidence isn't proof, it's just another claim. You'd still have to prove it's actually implemented in the game, THEN you'd have evidence. No it's not. Holding a patent is just having a patent. Doesn't mean whatever is described in the patent is actually being used, or even halfway realistic enough to exist outside of some blokes wishful dreams. All you need to do in order to get a patent is fill out the necessary paperwork and make sure you don't infringe on existing patents. Violá, you have your own patent now. Can be anything, like this "AI that's so smart it gains psychic abilities and can cure cancer in less than a second (among other amazing feats that would be possible)". -

Funny thing is it's always the ~50% players that claim MM is rigged to have everyone go 50%. It's almost like a chronic inability to reflect that oneself may simply not be good enough to get above 50% and instead trying to find another scapegoat to rage against the supposed unfairness of the game holding one back from what they feel they ought to deserve instead. I swear, I'm a super-unicum, but MM ALWAYS manipulates the teams to give me all the potatoes dragging down my winrate. There can't possibly be another reason why I'm not getting above 50% after 11k+ battles, no no no ... -
