Not facedesking through my keyboard when I took a look at my minimap only to see ALL our 5 BBs trying to huddle behind the same island on the B line because they were too scared of the enemy CV. They even complaing about poor air cover from me because apparently 5 BBs all huddled within 5km from each other still isn't enough AA despite the fact the enemy CV hardly tried to drop into that blob and instead went for allies who actually tried to contest other mapgrids. I swear, as if the CV rework wasn't enough of a mess already but no~ ... a majority of the playerbase also completely loses their f*cking minds whenever they see a CV now. URGH!!!

I saw that response and immediately went on to search for the John Cena meme: Sadly the thread got locked before I could post, but good thing it reopened with the correction: So I get to post it anyway after I took my time to search for a halfway decent version of the meme.

How about we don't introduce a new CV line into the game until the current rework balancing phase is over?

Only thing I've read about the flooding rework so far is that ships now have two compartments that can be flooded simultanously. Can't say I've seen anything about different flooding chances.

Aside from making sure it is the wisdom tooth (pain is pretty much gone now after chugging paracetamol and ibuprofen for a couple days, only a slight sense of pressure left, nothing discomforting at this point luckily), I'll have to ask my dentist if he can recommend one since I haven't visited one on a bloody long time and certainly not where I currently live.

When detonating someone is as likely as getting a flooding. Seriously, even specifically aiming for bow/aft hits, the flooding chance nerf was so overblown that it's basically impossible to stack DoT on something with the IJN CVs. 15 torphits between the Musashi and Montana (the latter detonated for 44k HP, poor sod ... though considering he was stationary, completely isolated and I still had 8 healthy TBs in my squadron he was going to take that damage inevitably), but only a single flooding and I was specifically aiming for nose hits to bypass the torpedo belt and maximize flooding chance. Am also flying the Juliet Whiskey Unaone signal flag for the additional flooding chance but fat lot that helps after WG nerfed the base flooding chance into the ground with their hotfix. No wonder most people stick to the US CVs which have a reliable source of setting fires with their HE DBs, nevermind their aircraft being healthier so they survive a bit longer under AA. Obviously I keep collecting reports when playing CVs Also yes, we had a very speshul Gearing on our team that managed to kill itself on reflected damage in the first minute of the match.

That would require manual observation and moderation of chatlogs however, as the purpose of bypassing the filter is to avoid getting flagged by an automated system. As such you'd have to manually file a complaint about someone having bypassed the filter to get someone to look at it. Where would be the difference to what we have now where you can open a ticket with WG support if you encounter something particularily nasty?

No profanity filter has ever worked. People who want to be douchecanoes simply come up with ways to bypass the filter.

Better at hitting one fireboat and ensuring a kill. But those things typically don't come alone and with the shotgun spread on the US 152mm triples you can catch multiple fireboats in one shot.

Use the US 152 triple guns as secondaries if you want to stop fireboats. Spread basically assures hits and they have great range too.

I'd note that this part has been debunked and rewards for shooting down aircraft us currently suspended until they figure out how to implement it in the reward economy.

I somehow doubt that. People would be arguably more pissed having spend real money for the Wichita if things don't turn out nice than spending free XP on the Alaska. Also with how WG is planning once more to introduce loot containers with chances to drop the RN CVs up to tier VIII I don't think WG has much interest in trying to coax people to spend free XP on the RN CVs rather than just dump real money at them for starting to grind the RN CVs straight at tier VIII. Either way I look it at I don't see how withholding the Alaska would make any sense for WG.

So, XP/credit rewards for aircraft have indeed been disabled. Why did I even watch the balancing Q&A and asked questions when the devs can't even get their informations straight and then react to my question about aircraft kill economy as if I had no bloody clue and telling me to read the news? Nevermind my other question which was initially brushed aside as "the answer wouldn't give players much informations" with one streamer staff person having to paraphrase the question (kudos for effort there) to get any kind of answer from the Sir_Excel ... Got to say: real smooth.

You only got free XP for refunding CVs you had prior to the rework. The purpose of getting compensated with free XP was to make up for the effort people put into grinding CVs up until the research so they have something they can use even if they don't like the reworked CVs. It wasn't so you can research the new CVs, try them out and ditch them again all for free if you don't like them.
