Our windowlicker division ran across Hateshinaku taking the Mutsu for a testing joyride. Unfortunately MM got confused and put Hate on the Red team so naturally he lost. Did get a nice up close look at the Mutsu though -

100% winrate for today and division carrying potential off the damn charts! And then there's my ongoing Benson fetish: God I love this ship to bits and then some. Almost done with the grind towards the Fletcher too, just a measly 17k XP left (+22k for the C hull to elite the Benson) and I enjoyed every second sailing this gem. I'd be sad to leave the ship if the Fletcher wasn't essentially a Benson 2.0! -
Utterly random thought that crossed my mind as I was eating a bowl of nice hot and spicy soup (it's bloody cold here!) as I was watching some WoWs videos on Youtube and had my thoughts drift around ... what if the german cruisers, whose thing is supposed to be potent AP, had similar AP shell characteristics compared with the RN CLs? I can only guess that 203mm AP shells with those superb angle normalization and bounce-angles would be like to play with. Naturally I don't think they should get quite the same low fuse delay (for one, those poor DDs if that were the case, also getting no overpens on superstructure volleys with that kind of damage potential on german AP might just be a tad OP) and obviously it would mean no more HE for german cruisers, duh. But basically having the german cruisers turn into a heavy cruiser variant of the RN CL gameplay design sounds pretty alluring me in my soup induced haze of warmth. Anyone in here that would agree, disgree or discuss? What's your favourite soup? If this turned out feasible for gameplay balance, would you guys accept if the german cruisers were retroactively changed that much?

OP is one of those kiddies that took a look at a history book and suddenly think they're entitled to rightous indignity whenever they see something that wasn't in that book. The Gneisenau 3x2 380mm configuration was a planned refit for her and her sistership in real life and was chosen by Wargaming as the ingame representation for balancing reasons. If you want the 283mm 3x3 configuration, you got to pay and buy the Scharnhorst. And what you can do with your attitude is something I'll leave up to your own imagination, but it involves places the sun doesn't shine.

Get it everyone now and then. More often in midtiers (which also means it's on the better map, Trident). In exchange I haven't seen the Ocean map in several months, though occasionally people do post screenshots from games on this map so it HAS to be in the game still.

To be entirely fair here, getting banned without displaying bannable misbehaviour is unwarranted, even if a user has a long history (and I know how much mtm can rage when he's proper frustrated so I think I know pretty well what you're referring to). To punish an infraction, even with a zero tolerance policy due to previous strikes, an infraction has to occur in the first place, period. You can't ban someone for something when he didn't do it, regardless of how well documented his/her/its propensity for chatrage is. And in that sense, I absolutely agree with mtm78's complaint: an automated system that can't differentiate actual infractions from reporting people out of spite is a faulty design!

You mean the people who read the rant filled with rigging accusations before you edited it. The same people that can read the comments of you incessantly sticking to your assessment that that clan is obviously mission rigging? If those people you speak of are supposed to be illiterate, then only in the make-believe language of FaceFisted which whilst bearing remarkable similarities with the common English apparently means something entirely different. Also: I I V Hypocrisy thou hath a face and it doth fisted!

Today's theme for me was Iowa's giving broadside. I thought it would be impolite not to shoot at them in my Izumo. OMG my browser just completely crapped out when I tried to remove that video. When will that bloody Adobe Flashplayer finally die in a hole as it derserves? *grmbl* Anyhow: aye, NC and Iowa are amazing ambush predators. Get yourself a nice position to shoot from, smack some unsuspecting ship in the buttocks, get undetected again, then repeat the process until no more buttocks to smack. Too many people get a tanking hard-on about those 32mm bow armour profiles. Just image how soulcrushing their first encounter with a Yamato must be. One moment bow-tanking like a boss, next moment they catch 20k+ volleys straight through the nose ...

That's odd, since I could swear the fat torpedo bulge on the Warspite is what makes her eat so much damage even angled. Because surely its belt armour is supposed to bounce 356mm AP shells at an angle in the excess of 70° or block if they got a lucky non-bounce RNG roll, right? I always thought the AP shells penetrated the torpedo bulge, then bounced off the belt yet the game would register that as a normal penetration with the accompanied damage. Warspite, y u so flimsy? -
You may find there was little wrong with our reactions and plenty wrong with how you went about to present your issue, if you bothered to reflect your communication procedure ... Whelp, so much about reflection ...

Clearly Seagull needs to get back into the kitchen to cook up a good smacking to deal with the issue. Maybe division up with Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren if he needs more smacking power to squash them evildoers. Besides the credits would be mighty hard to fit to an epic soundtrack if there was only Seagulls name on it. The Aristocrats.

This is where you're wrong. random match has no such rules that forbid teamplay to such an extent. In fact it's encouraged. This is an extreme example, true enough, but any such rules that you may think about right now aren't in the game, they're just your personal expectations of how randoms should work. Feel free to adress the point of MM exploits like click-divisioning or the overall quality of how MM handles divisions. By all means I could say my fair share in favour for that point. But don't drag your own agenda through the mud with nonsensical baggage like rigging accusations.

Eh, a bit of trashtalk is nothing unusual in any form of competitive environment, be that videogames, sports or whatever. Most of the time it's nothing more than teasing or banter. I do watch Flamu's Youtube videos and I've yet to hear anything out-of-line. He just rages about bad players just as most other people do. As to people saying he's arrogant, I don't take his comments of "I'm sooo gud" at face value. He also points out where he made mistakes after all, so he's not above admitting that he isn't perfect. So unless he's an entirely different persona during his livestreams, I don't get the comments about him. Flamu can be described as highly opinionated, but that's the worst I'd say, especially considering most of his opinions are well backed up with competence. That said and back to my original point: If people can't handle a bit of smack, they shouldn't play multiplayer games, or use the internet at all. -
Don't count on secondaries for anything. They won't hit anything unless you spec for the tier IV skill and even then most don't have the range and ballistics to actually be effective, with really only a very few ships actually being capable of running a somewhat effective secondary build. As for dying too fast, battleships can withstand an extreme amount of punishment but that doesn't help much if you put yourself in a position where you recieve extreme amounts of damage in short order, such as showing broadside, getting isolated and focused or allowing yourself to get nuked by a torpedo spread.

He's just stomping his feet at the injustice of having been on the recieving end of click-divisioning too often. If that clan really tries to abuse the MM regularily it's something, then this shouldn't be a point swallowed up by baseless accusations and knee-jerk reactions. And if he suspects the clan really did something shady to rig the outcomes of matches like giving away the position of random teammates over voicecomms, then he should forward that to support like I already said.
