I'm not insulting you. I'm just calling it how it is. You play bad and you advised others not to care about anyone but themselves, which is simply egotistical ... that's what the word means! It absolutely gives a remarkable (and remarkably sad) insight of exactly what standard you can expect from randoms.

But if you buy 10 apples and get 214% percent apples for free on top of that, you end up with 31.4 apples, which is 314% of 10 apples. And I swear to Pythagoras, if you don't agree with that I will find you and beat you over with a math book!

Geezus ... there's NOTHING confusing in the news article. It says you get 314% the normal amount of XP. Normal amount of XP is 100%. Thus you get +214% extra XP and that amounts to a 314% total. There is a + sign. That means the math is an addition. How frickin' hard is it to understand that!? 100% + 214% = 314% That is first grade elementary school math.

Nowhere in your preliminary stats overview does it say "Damage Repair Party". And just to make sure you didn#t just copy&paste it incorrectly I looked up the provided link. Again, nowhere does it say anything about the repair party.

And yet you still didn't understand how the simple math regarding this event goes. So take your diploma, get a pencil, scrabble the numbers on it and do a simple addition equation. Maybe writing it down will help you understand the problem.

I'd actually say the captain training potential is equal. Scharnhorst doesn't only do great with BB captains but synergizes surprisingly well with cruiser captains (same way Kutuzov also works for RU DD captains). And damage potential is rather in favour for the Scharnhorst imho. The AP is absolutely nasty against cruisers (fewer overpens due to the lower caliber, but still plenty enough punch not to bounce/shatter), pretty good secondaries and torpedoes for brawls (plus the armour and HP to survive going into a brawl) and you might be surprised how much HE and firedamage you can rack up on angled BBs if you put a CA captain with the DE skill on that ship. And any BB that gives you a juicy flat side to shoot, easily 8-10k AP volleys every 20 seconds (or faster with AR perk after a bit of battering).

Welp, I genuinely offered to help. If you insist in stomping your feet like a spoiled child because people aren't praising you, so be it. I can only hope you're never on my team, I've seen bots with better average performance.

If you are genuinely interested in constructive feedback and willing to improve upon that, you could always share match replays. Enable them ingame with an easy .ini tweak (or just use Aslain's Modpack that has an easy checkbox to do it for you if you don't feel like editing the .ini file yourself), upload them to wowreplays.com for example and then share the link to the replay. That way people can watch exactly how you play, note what you do right and wrong and give feedback on how to approach different situations better if possible and how to improve in general.

A Scharnhorst game with over 9000 damage. Truly I am in awe. I'd say you probably missed a zero in that number but frankly at this point I think chances are good you're genuinely impressed with that result as it stands in your comment. And statistics aren't misleading. If you were oh so helpful to your team with laying smoke screens etc. pp., then it would show in your average winrate. It doesn't however. The only traditional problem with statistics as a mathematical discipline is ambiguity in interpreting the numbers. But really, there's no ambiguity about someone who's consistenty and significantly below the server averages. You're bad. There's no arguing that fact. All in all I have only one more thing to say to you: The irony in this sentence is so thick, you need a diamond blade to cut it.

Both are incredibly performant ships and very good captain trainers for their nations. I also think they cost roughly about the same ... So really, it's a matter of playstyle preferences. Do you like an in-yo-face playstyle? In that case you can't go wrong in a Scharnhorst: tough, fast, incredibly lethal against cruisers and still plenty enough punch to hurt BBs. Or do you prefer a more supportive, behind-the-scenes playstyle? That's what the Mikhail Kutuzov excells at, flinging HE shells at distant targets of all sorts, protect nearby ships from CV strikes and generally being an immense nuisance to the enemy as you steadily chip away their health. I would say the Scharnhorst edges out on simple fun factor, but I like to play BBs and I'm stupidly aggressive in them anyway so naturally I like a ship that's very good at exactly that.

Alright, it appears I have to explain the meaning of "egomaniac" to you: it means an obsessively egotistical, self-centred person. Now tell me, if you dismiss the consequences of your actions for other people in the same environment (say your team in a multiplayer videogame) in favour of your own entertainment, is that not self-centred? Evidence #1: "It has nothing to do with them" and "Play the game as you want and sod the statistics." Complete disregard for your peers and any standard of performance. If you go as far as denote your peers as utterly unimportant (in a cooperative multiplayer I might emphasize!), that constitutes obsessively egotistical behaviour. Perfectly matching the term "egomaniac". Now onto the next point ... Let me show you evidence #2: Winrate 42,09% and 9.727 average damage after 1.233 matches. Your most played ship is the Tirpitz with a winrate of 41,65% (8,72% below the server average of 50,33%) with average damage of just 16.675 (that is less than a third of the server average of 51.770). Looking through all the stats I can find, that picture is consistent across the board with far below average performances. The numbers don't lie, you ARE letting your teams down by severely underperforming. QED To be honest, I hadn't even meant to mean you were letting people down, just that that your attitude is incredibly selfish and utterly misplaced for a multiplayer game. But eh, after looking through your stats I can say with fact-based confidence that you are in fact plain dragging your teams down. Your amusement stops where another player's frustration starts. Maybe you ought to be more careful in not giving people a reason to look you up if you don't like what we have to say. Or perhaps you ought to read up on the Dunning-Kruger effect and reconsider your general outlook, then try to learn and improve yourself to a point where you could honestly say that even if you do play for your own amusement's sake foremost, you're still at least pulling your own weight and thus not dragging other players down.
