[SCRUB] The Scrubs - Recruitment thingy
Aotearas replied to Loran_Battle's topic in Clan Recruitment
Havaduck, sounds like you need a Spiderbro or two. Bloody mosquitoes and stuff is precisely why I keep a couple spiders around. Seriously, a spider placing its web near your windows and that's an instant half the possible insect plague dealt with. That or you could get yourself a Gecko. Though not sure how that would fly with the birds ...- 3,079 replies

Do you want to know? Do you REALLY want to know?

Below pictured: how the mods must've felt going through this thread!

[TTT] Hag: "Ha, get roflstomped. No seriously I just beat you by stampeding on my second keyboard with my feet" Random pleb: "How cheesy." *pa-dum tish*
-
It's both. The DD is his alt and it's afk since his Fusou is his primary. But if the enemy team falls for the mind trick and go for an allegedly easy kill, he'll switch to his alt, kill everything and violá, victory! Such dirty, much tricks!
-
Yay, the thread is back. A couple hags in here still owe me cookies for my arthritic, no wait ... artistic contributions! I may not have topped ranked yet, but if all ye alts like me, I might get a star in here!

Star award for top player on the losing team justified?
Aotearas replied to SteDorff's topic in General Discussion
Erm, I don't think people understand what I said there. I mean more base XP than the best guy on the winning team. So for example the best person on the winning team has 1600 base XP, then if someone on the losing team has more base XP than that, he gets a star. In my entire 4k+ games, I have NEVER EVER seen a camping BB achieve that. That only happened when someone on the losing team had a murder game and just happened to still lose. And having a murder game kinda qualifies to deserve a star as far as I'm concerned. -
No effort too great, no bar too low! F[TTT]FY.

Depends, which one is cheaper to license, OMNI HAX Package or TTT Hags package? Cuz really, I want to win in the most cheapest way possible. Maybe we can even reverse-engineer some of that for a proprietary SCRUB Hakka lickage.
-
Guys, can you please stop misspelling Hags and haggaliceous. Hax© is already copyrighted by OMNI anyway.
-
As this thread helpfully demonstrated, it's kind of hard to play multiple alts at the same time, so people have to stick to apm efficient playstyles.
-
He's right about one thing though. [TTT] is full of hags. I mean just look at them, all their winrate is in the sixties. I bet they even toss around flowers and have sit-ins rather than clan meet-ups! Such oldies!
-
Welp, guess he has to up his alt-game. He lost a star there. Obviously he should both win a star on his main and not lose one on his alt. What a pleb!

Star award for top player on the losing team justified?
Aotearas replied to SteDorff's topic in General Discussion
Imho someone on the losing team should be rewarded a star if they manage to top the score in base XP (meaning more base XP than the best of the winning team). Because if a guy on the losing team got more base XP than the best winner, obviously they did a couple things right and deserve getting a star. Otherwise though, if I had to change to the grind economy I would do something entirely different, but that would take ages to write down. -
Not if you're either undetected (duh) or if you hug the island close enough to just barely get your shells over it. Unless the Fusou is far away, it won't be able to hit you if the island is sufficiently high (which of course should be the case, don't go for A cup islands, gotta have some substance on your waifu!).

Use Cleveland, find island waifu, propose and have lots of little IFHE children.

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"
Aotearas replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
Wargaming however didn't get that memo, despite writing it themselves. So they still look at it from the perspective of balancing it against the other DDs rather than treat it as its own entity. And to some degree that is correct since it gets normal DD MM. The problem however with that design thought and the 50mm armour is that if you look at it purely in the context of DD balance, it's OP as hell. It makes a good chunk of the Khaba immune to DD caliber HE and just switching to AP only works if it gives broadside (which another Khaba found out is a bad move against my Gearing at 6km distance) ... as soon as the Khaba angles somewhat however and starts kiting, that 50mm armour will bounce or block AP shells and at an autobounce angle the remaining 19mm hull armour will bounce aswell, at which point you have to switch back to HE, which yet again shatters harmlessly on half of the target due to that 50mm troll armour. And in return, the Khaba can just happily blaze away with HE since no other DD (except another Khaba, duh) is protected against it's HE. Any 1vs1 comparision thus favours the Khabarovsk, which by the very definition of the term makes it unbalanced. Imho the Khaba would be rather snugly balanced against the other DDs if they just get rid of the 50mm armour plating and give it back its manouverability. It's still going to win any straightforward gunfight with other DDs, but it won't just walk away from it with a slightly weathered paintjob. I've utterly smashed full HP Gearings in my almost dead Khaba because their shells just bonked/dinked off my 50mm armour as I poured my return fire into them. The other thing WG can do is straight-up use cruiser MM for the Khabarovsk, which might actually be an interesting idea to try out *winkwink@WG*. -
Yeah. It's not the fact someone is dead that qualifies (or dequalifies) his opinion. It's why and how he died. Someone who did the necessary thing and died was still smart. Someone who did something stupid and died is stupid. And many people who do something stupid and live are still stupid. Case in point: stupid be stupid. But eh, that's multiplayer gaming.

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"
Aotearas replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
I can tell you why: They need to have some justification for keeping radar and the lolheal on the RN BBs. So they nerf the guns (though they're still going to wreck every cruiser unlucky enough to get hit) and they say "well, now that the guns are no longer amazing, clearly the ships need something else to make them stand out". Ingenious. No wait, wrong term ... what's the word for the opposite of ingenious again? -
[SCRUB] The Scrubs - Recruitment thingy
Aotearas replied to Loran_Battle's topic in Clan Recruitment
Looks like someone taking the p*ss on a couple recently popular anime genres. Those shows are typically the better ones, just because of how amazingly satirical they can get, though that naturally requires the audience to know what they're making fun of. Otherwise it just looks weird AF. And no talk about anime parody is complete without the first episode of 'Osomatsu-san'! That was a veritable masterpiece of satire and medium self-awareness utterly unrivaled in its audacity ... sadly it appears it's getting deleted all over Youtube, so let's see if linking Vimeo works here: If you want to join the ranks of the "wierd Japan" connoisseurs, I can make a list of shows to watch- 3,079 replies
