Double post because comment picture limits. So that retrained captain for the Des Moines, eh? First game ever in my Des Moines. Defeat because weekend teams (also a nasty collision bug for @pilks whose GK got stuck to an island and wasn't able to detach himself from it). But the ship itself, me likes. Me likes very much! That superheavy AP takes no prisoners and I already loved it on the Baltimore (one of the most enjoyable grinds I had so far (once you get past the stock ship ...)) but combined with the Des Moines rate of fire it's just nuts!

Cheeky game in the Minotaur and instantly cleared the 5th and final stage of the weekly Fish'n'Chips mission after I had gotten the 4th stage done in the previous game (Ibuki doing Ibuki things): Game actually started off rather disappointing. I had asked our Gearing if he'd pop a nice smoke into A, so me in my Minotaur and @MortenTardo in his Des Moines could get close to help him ... no reaction and naturally he didn't. He then ran into the enemy Fletcher, instantly smoked himself up (with no one spotting for him, duh), a bit later caught a torp and from that moment on I didn't bother caring anymore, he died somewhere being absolutely useless. Morten and me turned towards B instead, let the enemy have A cap and positioned yourselves to contain them in A. Now THAT worked our rather nice. Couple interesting moments I had where getting three random torpedo hits ... turns out the Fletcher ate all three (naturally he didn't sink from those, because lolsaturation), and that one time when I got caught pants down broadside to a Hindenburg who very much was looking at me, then proceeded to ship HE into my broadside. Same for his second salvo ... I didn't give him a third opportunity. Should've been dead then and there, but I'll take it. Like I'll also take an Amagi pushing around the island 5km away from a smoked up Minotaur, catching five torpedoes, or the Kutuzov who seeing the Amagi getting annihilated thought "no way that's gonna happen to me", then also pushed around the island 5km away from a smoked up Minotaur (spotted, mind you) and only catch a couple broadsides AP and , well ... you know how it goes. Interestingly enough, their Yamato ALSO thought it would be a great idea, but by that time my torps were spent and the smoke about to fade so I circled around the other side of the island, bumrushed the extremely low HP Missouri there and wait for my smoke to get ready again before pouring into the now again broadside Yamato. Many thanks to the enemy team for their cooperation, without your generous assistence I wouldn't have had such an easy game! Next up, Atlanta fun: Sweet RNGeezus, took me four or five games to finally get a win in this ship today. The weekend syndrome is real! I won't bother you with ranting about the craptastic teams I had though, fear not. So yeah, standard fare for this game: Find island waifu. Propose. Have lots of intimate hugging. Swat pesky DDs trying to spoil our fun. A couple pew-pews later, out popped a victory. We named it Jerry! More importantly, that game finally finished the captain retraining for my Des Moines captain

So the game just randomly alt tabbed my game ... followed by a 5 second blackscreen (which now happens due to the shoddy DX11 implementation!), I then have to get back to the game with another bloody 5 seconds blackscreen only to come back just before the enemy CV drops on my Gearing. Nevermind all the incessant game crashes in port whenever I want to click on stuff like changing captains, or consumables ... GG WG Quality programming. Not only are you a decade behind in GPU APIs, you also SUCK at using them. Do you even have a quality assurance department? Back to DX9 for me, at least I hope that isn't utterly broken now aswell!

Spiel ist noch nichtmal zu Ende aber nachdem ich schon abgesoffen bin und mein Team mit Spezail Spielern gesegnet ist habe ich grad nichts besseres zu tun als mal vorbeizuwinken. Wow, grad die Resultate gesehen ... da wären wir auch komplett ohne BBs nicht schlechter weggekommen ... *sigh*

ADVISORY: It seems like their contingent of codes has run out considering no one seems to getting anything but invite codes since some time. You can still try but don't get your hopes up. Conversely, if you still got a code, do spread the news!!! A helpful weeabo in the german subsection posted this little snippet! Installing the Lootboy App on your Smartphone, registering (with your Google Account for example) you can grab the mentioned bonus code for free (with a bit of luck) from the loot packs from the app. I personally got lucky and instantly received the bonus code with the initial free loot pack, but apparently if you're not so lucky you can still unlock more loot packs for free by spending coins (which you can also get via loot packs or by reading the comics in the app) until you get a pack with the bonus code. Then simply activate the code as usual here. Then uninstall the app again or whatever, the ship (or 4.650.000 credits as compensation if you already own the ship), portslot and seven days of premium time are yours without spending a dime! And so no one calls BS, here muh screenshots to prove I got that stuff: Wish you guys luck and enjoy your free Marblehead (or not) and premium time! Nope, not just you. Seems like ever since sometime yesterday, this forum is having massive issues with embedding videos and pictures. Also, I kind of want to know what the fastest Clear Skies record is. I once managed one as quick as little over two minutes into the game (back in the 1/1/0 Bogue when manual attacks were still possible).

If he's a dark god, I want my sacrifices back. I demand mindbending horrors, this fellow isn't even mildly disturbing.

Z-23 with stock guns was just meh, didn't like it at all ... but with the 150mm guns, oh boy: I'm really starting to fall in love with that german vixen here. The difference in using the stock guns and the upgraded 150mm ones is night and day. Gives the ship an entirely different energy and man do I like it! That 6k damage on the Benson? I had AP loaded ... smacked that poor Benson with a 5k AP volley, just one volley! The HE damage with 1k before he could hide in his smoke is just pityful in comparision. And the AP is also plenty good enough to score citadel hits on RN CLs in smoke (it died to torps before I could farm some more). Game itself was also incredibly nice. Was a rough start, we were bottom tier and the enemy had a DD advantage, but after we managed to break the latter ... well, the entire red team kinda broke. The rest was a glorified mop-up, just barely missed the Kraken. And I must've done something right, because I (and my divisionmate @MortenTardo) got reported And here a game in the ever adorable Akizuki: Damn that one Kagerou was persistent. Took me half the game and in between the Kagerou and his friends half my HP to finally capture the B cap and end the imminent DD threat to our team in the north. All the whilst getting pinged by the Nagato that thought going A would be a brilliant idea *sigh* where NATURALLY the other Kagerou was all too happy to start hunting. Got a bit clutchy at the end, in fact @T0byJug had already written that game off as a loss before he went to grab some drink (possibly a stiff one), only to come back and see @MortenTardo and me carrying the game hard. Such little faith in his clanmates ... North Carolina also did a great job! Ignore the Nagato on the teamscore list, he was the maxrange HE spamming A cap driver who was still at full HP until the very last minutes of the game. Even had to save his stern (the points his ship represented were more valuable that he ever was) from the hounding Kagerou that was at full HP despite me wheezing along at a crippled 3k HP. The things you do to win ... Is the forum broken or something? Image embedding seems not working anymore. Amagi, Molotov and recently the Gearing aswell. Pretty good ships, but been getting horrible games one after another (Gearing started very good, but the last string of games just utterly abysmal luck with essentially everything). On the flipside, it appears my Atlanta was blessed. That thing is just rocking on without a care in the world (well, today was a bit bumpy with that bloody detonation from full HP at the start of the game) and keeps delivering like it's christmas all-year round.
