Did he ever attack you as a person or your personal faculties? No, he did not. He said some forumites lack intellectual capacity, not you specifically ... even though he directly quoted you. But that doesn't count, since obviously you directly quoting him and talking about apologists doesn't count as ad hominem as per your own words. So, I like to give WG sh*t about how their patches frequently mess up the game, or what looks like an ongoing game direction that seems accurately described as pure powercreep. But all that aside for a moment, I just want to take my time and actually, unsarcastically, applaud WG for the new graphic effects and audio implemented with the recent patch. That sh*t looks awesome and sounds a good deal better aswell. Detonation could do with a bit more escalation comparing to regular death animations/effects but overall this new update really, really made the game more visually and audibly appealing. Really nice work. I still have a couple choice words for the patch release, ethical treatment of server hamsters and the game's balancing team overall, but those are for other threads. New effects, me likey And no, I didn't peruse the forum for duplicate threads, but since everyone seems to open their own thread to whine/b*tch/rant/criticize, I figure having a duplicate appreciation thread or two is karma. If a mod closes this thread, he obviously hates positive reinforcement and drowns kittens in his free time!

Yeah, MEGAZAO (capitalization and bolding is important) has nasty midrange AA, but it's not quite shredding tier X (plus HP module) aircraft (Midway/Hakryuu will lose planes, but a good chunk of the attack will go through), plus those 40mm are relatively easy to knock out so the longer you've been getting hammered with HE, the fewer of those mounts will survive until such a time that a CV decides he no longer has easier targets. Everything else though: having a BB with better concealment than a good number of cruisers is simply BS imho.

What came first: pantsu or upskirt?

And as important, if not arguably more important even: make radar ships another category for the MM filter. Nothing like having zero radar ships on your team and the enemy gets four.

Authentic picture of WG servers: I have the lingering suspicion the recent server problems are due to staff mishandling the equipment to brew more Vodka to sate the balancing team's everlasting thirst.

Our sibling clan (damn you member limitations) probably still has some slots left, but that isn't my decision to make. In the meantime however, you can join "The Scrubs Community" ingame channel and just hang out with us and other folks that found our disappointment lounge (bar not included, we're working on that). We also typically hang out on the official WoWs TeamSpeak server (92.223.3.90:9989) so if you see someone there and recognize the name, feel free to jump into the channel and tell them to git gud.

Seriously, I'm going to miss this little sucker after I finished my grind to the Z-46 (less than 10k XP to go). The 128mm version is meh at best, but the 150mm guns absolutely rock! No idea how I managed not to get a Confederate in this game and the Kraken was denied by Nagato secondaries in literally the last second before my torpedo tubes had finished to swing on torget (which bears the question why the hell it took so long despite me having had swung the entire ship around ...), doubt I would've missed the Nagato at ~4km. But alas, overconfidence struck again. Then again I would've earned that Kraken, that was a real clutch in the end.

Divisions. Seriously, divisions! You can't trust randoms to actually play competently, let alone coordinate. You'll be surprised how much a difference it makes to just have two buddies watching your back. 1 DD, 1 CA/CL and 1 BB in a division can fulfill all essential roles in one division and compensate and support another. The only problem is that you can never go back to playing randoms alone, you'll be spoiled rotten!

Yeah, and left alone those few ships that actually PTFO just get focused to kingdom come becaues all their supposed support just runs for the hills, then get crap rewards in XP and credits and more likely than not a loss anyway. Really motivates people to play the game properly ... Been on the receiving end a lot and it really, really sucks because all you can do is either frantically disengage (tough luck with that) and run along with the cowards, or you just have to somehow defeat the entire flank by yourself. And if you're seeing that kind of behaviour on the enemy team, it's an easy win, but also tends to end in crappy rewards because games typically end too fast if the enemy gets no caps. Some form of discriminative MM could really do well with the game. People who PTFO get matched with and against others that PTFO and those who don't get matched against their own peers. Let the cowards have the boring, crap reward games ... I'll happily face tryhard pants wearing unicum divisions and have a real engaging fight than spend the majority of the game running after the fleeing enemy team just so I can get SOME damage done.

@Egoleter in the red team had the free entertainment of watching me sink prematurely after I pushed into a radar (accounced in teamchat of course), spot two Belfasts neatly broadside and stationary aswell as two DDs ... only for none of my team to take the shots because they're too busy hiding. I swear, people aren't just not working as a team, they're actively trying their hardest not to!

... and I still don't have the Scrub TS details ... Btw guys, since one of my RAM sticks died, I'm currently sitting with only one 4Gb stick. What settings can I lower in WoWs to reduce the load on my RAM? Will probably be some days until I get a proper replacement.

Are you also aware that XP and credit rewards are based on HP percentage rather than absolute numbers? Doing 10k damage to a destroyers gets you lot of credits and XP, doing 10k damage to a battleship earns you far less. And operations end if the final objectives are met or if essential objectives are failed, regardless of the match clock or enemies left alive.

Sweet effin' Geezus ... one of my RAM sticks died (or is packed with memory faults to not make a difference), which BSOD the hell out of my system and eventually killed my access to my OS (stuck in infinite booting loop) entirely. So I had to get myself a boot medium (didn't have one on hand), then nuke my bloody system and reinstall Windows 10 just to get out of the infinite loop and boot. THEN try and find out what the actual issue is: tested drives, tested windows integrity, tested RAM ... only for the Windows RAM check to give me the all clear, whilst MemTest was basically acting like the world is on fire ... (so much about Windows test utilities). Plugged one of the RAM sticks out, ran the test again, violá ... no more issues. Just in case anyone wondered where our resident WoWs addict went. So, I gotta go download the entirely game again (wootz) ... well, in addition to my otherwise EVERYTHING (saved my ~600GB anime and music directory though, cuz priorities!) but yay, it's working again! In the meantime, I decided to just make a simple hat lottery for the remaining two König Albert bonus codes I got from Gamescom. Considering the ship is soon to be removed from the premium store permanently, I urge that ONLY members of the clan that don't already own it apply for the lottery (just quote or mention me in this thread saying you want to participate). I'll collect the names, write them on paper pieces, put all that stuff into my WG cappy, then draw two pieces and PM the lucky fellas with their codes. I don't want to set a particular deadline just yet and if I do, I'll make it known in this thread (and ONLY in this thread!). In other news, @WolfGewehr already had the König Albert and opted to get the WoT PzKpfW. IV code instead.
