I apologize, I must have missed that we were talking about RN BBs specifically. But if you wish to ascertain my experience in RN BBs in particular I recommend looking through my ship stats rather than taking wild guesses.
-
Now factor in the amount of games played and number of unique players for each ship to account for statistical deviation, variance and margin of error. There's more to statistics than just looking at numbers.

In all fairness, direct buffs to BBs are scarce. But that isn't necessary at all, since BBs benefit disproportionally from a myriad of other balance changes that hit other ship classes making them less effective against BBs or harder to do their role as cruisers without getting spotted so BBs can shoot them. Plus every BB line release is powercreeping a lot. Citadels getting more and more rare even when showing full broadsides to other BBs, BBs getting plastered with AA, they get more and more stealthier to the point they even outspot cruisers, ... not much need to buff BBs when they already get into the game that strong. And let's not forget all those open hightier maps which are such convinient shooting galleries with little places for more fragile ships to exploit *cough*Tears of the Desert/Okinawa*cough*. Last but not least as if that wasn't already enough, there's the current BB overpopulation which isn't just a problem in its own right but also excerbates the other issues.

Happens with browser open (Chrome) or without. The only other programs running in the background are TeamSpeak, my antivirus (and that isn't conflicting) and essential processes from Windows. CTDs (well, I call them CTDs but only because they crash to desktop eventually ...) happen all the time in port (switching ships, switching captains, selecting captain skills, mounting or demounting upgrades, signals or camouflages) and when transitioning to loading screens (port to queue or queue to map loading). It's always the memory exception error (hence why WG support asked for a procdump report). The other issue as of lately is random ingame freezes, but who knows what's causing those (utterly random so far and just freezes up the game, no crash or error messages even after I kill the task manually via task manager so nothing really I can use to pinpoint a possible cause). I've exhausted my wealth of user troubleshooting and am at the tender mercies of WG support looking through that 2GB worth of crash dump that procdump spewed out. Fingers crossed they're actually looking through that and find the culprit. Error came out of nowhere with patch 0.6.1 (game ran flawlessly before that patch), so it should be fixable, they just have to find that sucker.

BB WITH 360 DEGREES ROTATABLE TURRETS
Aotearas replied to Maximo12345is's topic in General Discussion
Perfectly fine with it as long as BBs get their actual hitratios ... Or actually not, since that would also mean we'd have to change the vast majority of the other ships aswell, remove all maps except Ocean, make it 25 times bigger and then suffer a horribly unbalanced, slow-placed simulation of you sailing zigzags, hardly hitting anything and then getting nuked by a concentrated fleet carrier strike. -
Y'all lucky as hell. I get that CTD multiple times per gaming session. Did everything I could to try and nail that issue short of building an entirely new PC. For now I have to wait for the devs to look through the 2GB procdump datafile they asked me to provide after I finally got hold of a specialist at WG support. Until then I'll keep spamming them with WGCHeck report files each day the game crashes.

Damn straight "Fall in the Dark"!!! Some more Shibayan: Also hope the laptop issue with Kitakami gets resolved fast. I know how it is when one of those dies on you ... the boredom is excruciating! Get a good book in the meantime, you'll need it. -
Edinburgh is going to be a bit of a crash. Not because the ship is bad (it isn't, it's essentially the same as the Fiji with slightly different stats and the zombie-heal instead of a normal heal), but mostly because the Fiji gets the beneficial tier VII MM bracket and the Edinburgh at tier VIII ... not so much. She's a very good ship though, plays essentially the same as the Fiji, just more radar around to be wary about. Neptune is the next real performance bump. She gets a hit on detectability and the citadel is ludicrously easy to hit, but everything else increases significantly in performance (guns, torpedoes, AA). And Minotaur is Minotaur.

[SCRUB] The Scrubs - Recruitment thingy
Aotearas replied to Loran_Battle's topic in Clan Recruitment
Well, I got a special christmas greeting yesterday in the form of the most charming fanmail. Merry christmas to all fellow windowlickers (have warm water handy in case that window is freezing cold when you lick it). By the way I had failed to mention that I'm visiting my family again so I won't be online much at all during the next two weeks and if I am it's really only for one or two games (for the aftvent missions) so I'm not going to division up with folks! Anyhow, you lot have great holidays and we see one another next year again- 3,079 replies

Alright @MrConway, @Tuccy, @Kandly, @Sub_Octavian I have what I believe is a simple question: Why did the WG developers thought it was necessary to change division so that other people can join it irregardless of them being invited or not? How did that change made any sense? And did ANYONE think it would make sense to allow utter random people be able to just join an existing division without the express consent of the division leader? I get it so bloody often when I'm sailing in a two man division with a friend and suddenly I see some random guy entered our division. Why is this a thing? I know I can lock division, but I want to honestly know what sort of genuine, reasonable argument WG can provide that explains why complete random strangers can just hop into an existing division uninvited. To me, it makes zero sense. And because the game UI is still a buggy mess, sometimes I can't even kick them out of the division because selecting the command does nothing no matter how often I try, which is simply annoying at best and downright frustrating after it happened a couple times. I mean, if you get invited from a random to a dynamic division, you get a little pop-up where you can deny are accept the invitation with a quick command. Why can random people join an existing division yet the division leader gets no say in the matter? I've had it happen couple times where some stranger snuck unti our division without us noticing and later in the game I read some guy in chat is raging about the "faildivision" ... we're the only division on our team and thinking "what the hell is he talking about, we're both the same ship tier" only to then notice some stranger is part of our division. Unless there's a really good reason that I'm simply failing to see here, I'd very much prefer it if WG rolled back that change and reinstated the privacy of divisions to invite-only as it was before.

Eh not so much a fan, of the anime adaption at least. I mean the whole series is just modern army fanwank and JSDF is the greatest blahblah (downright propagandistic), but at least the manga version wasn't washed over to get a teen rating. OST also didn't blow me away, but I got pretty picky about soundtracks i particular ... But that'd be offtopic:- 3,079 replies

Wrong Rin. Then again, she ain't best girl anyway. This one is: -
My best shot at what I'd guess is a reasonable enough motivation WG might be having is they want to continue unify how they handle the different servers which would also include which ships are on offer for purchase via doubloons in the techtree. And if the Atlanta is a ship that isn't available as such on some other servers (I didn't bother to check so if anyone knows, feel free to correct if necessary), WG could've decided to pull it from the techtree. WG is only pulling her from the techtree, but no word has been about removing her from sale entirely, or so is the last I read anyway.

Hmm, have you thought attending GamesCom? It's an electronics entertainment trade fair held annually in Cologne, Germany. Quite well known around the region I dare say. If you decide to pop along, feel free to toss me a VIP ticket or something like that so we can buddy up, enjoy some german beer, maybe a Bretzel or a Schnitzel even. Oh, you'd have to make booth reservations early though. It tends to get a wee bit crowded.

So, just had a game. Not particularily spectacular (aside from the usual potatoes). When the game ends, instead of going to the result screens it throws me back into the log-in screen ... mkay? So I log back in and what do I see? The same amount of credits I had before, the same amount of ship XP on the ship I had just played. The SAME amount of XP required for the next daily container. So evidently that game I just played didn't exist. What the hell WG? I'd like to have my XP and stuff ...
-
Welp, I just opened a ticket with WG support and told them to check my match history. If the last game they see is NOT with a Hindenburg, then the server dun fooked up. And if the last game is in a Hindenburg, then they ought to actually give me the earned rewards for it. And until I get an answer, I simply won't bother playing the game if I have to expect the game crediting my rewards.

A couple neat ships, but too much filler that can (and knowing my RNG: will) sneak into the prize pool before you get anything you'd like to have. For anyone that doesn't already have the Gremmy or Nikolai, or doesn't have the Belfast or Kutuzov but wants it, it's a (very low) chance of getting those ships (like seriously expect all other ships to pop-up before you get those you really want).
-
At this point the only reason I'd see for getting christmas containers would be if you could get otherwise unobtainable ships such as the Iwaki Alpha and/or Arkansas Beta (oh how I wish I had an Iwaki) OR if they included ships that I'd really, really want (Kidd and Roma) AND the other ships in the prize pool are ones I already have so I'm more or less guaranteed to get ships I really want without RNG having the chance to throw other ships at me (basically if chances are that I'd pay less for those crates to have a good chance at getting the ship I want compared to outright buying the ship bundle). So yeah, you can essentially dismiss the second reason for being delusional, ergo WG oughta bring out some really special ships as prizes or I'm to maintain my little boycott until I see WG steer the game into a direction that fills me with more confidence as opposed to the idiotproofing, every ship gotta have a special gimmick and who cares about BB overpopulation anyway attitude I'm seeing right now.
