The problem with the GZ AP DBs is that it's basically all about RNG from what I've seen. As the target of such a strike, there's nothing you can do but hope for good AA RNG to shoot down as many of the aircraft as possible and then pray to RNGeezus that the ones that make it through miss you or don't penetrate your citadel for that massive damage. Even DFAA isn't that much helpful outside of boosting the AA dps because the panicked drop radius on those DBs isn't as dramatically larger as it's with other CVs' DBs. Imho the DBs might need an adjustment to the panicked drop radius (make it larger)m because from what I've seen from competent CV captains commenting on the GZ, the DBs are essentially left-click fire-and-forget. Which is doubly unfortunate since this kind of low-skill, high-reward correlation likely means that once the GZ gets on sale again, potatos are going to flock to the ship. I wouldn't mind too hard if it were only BBs suffering from it, but as it stands there's a good chunk of cruisers who also can (and will) get outright deleted by those AP bomb strikes. Hell, AA monster ships like the Des Moines can get OSKed by Midway AP DBs through DFAA if just enough DBs make it through the DFAA and RNG hates your guts to send enough of them bombs into your citadel. If you can literally nuke your hardcounter just because RNG was on your side, something's wrong imo. At least that's the impression I'm getting from reading/viewing CV player opinions, don't have a GZ (or another CV with AP bombs for that matter, haven't touched my Lexi yet) so no firsthand experience from being on the delivering side.

Would you mind telling at which point of time during the video something suspicious happens? I watched through it and didn't see anything abnormal. If you mean in general that ships stop showing up for you, that's because each ship has a specific surface and air detectability at which distance it gets spotted if a ship of your side has a line of sight on it. If no ship is close enough or its hidden behind an island or in a smoke screen and no one can see it, it won't be spotted and stay invisible. Another thing I noticed is you seem to manually scroll in and out when aiming and switching back to overhead view. That's a bit ardous. You can just use your Shift button on your keyboard to instantly switch to the gunnery zoom and press it again to instantly get back. Also, you can rightclick and hold on your mouse to freely look around. It helps especially with ships that have poor turret traverse as you don't swing the turrets around with you as you look.

Bruh! BRUH!!! By all means, give the female skippers here some eyecandy too. Also I'm not gonna lie, as a man I find those three shipboys pretty darn attractive (no homo, also traps aren't gay)!

Just had this absolute doozy of a game: Game itself was the usual carry-that-would-not despite my best efforts. But the best part about it was getting called a cheater after the enemy Z-52 got rekt. Said I was cheating because no hydro goes further out than 6km. Bad news for him was, radar does. I tried to explain that to him but he wouldn't want to hear it, just responded with "more noob" and "say bye to your acc cheater": If you're reading the forum @DeMaeh I helpfully circled the position of our Donskoy that you apparently overlooked. The location of your demise has likewise been noted, so you should be able to tell that yes, there was a radar cruiser close enough indeed. So don't be too disappointed when it turns out I don't actually have to say goodbye to my account. Then again you should be familiar with that sensation since I distinctly remember that wasn't the first time you called me a cheater after getting rekt. If it's any consolation to you however, it was as hilarious now as it was before! Game, as mentioned, didn't want to get carried. Plus I was once more reminded on how horribly low damage those torps are. Planted all eight torps point-blank into the Conqueror but he barely survived, popped his black magic heal and that was the end of me. Over 2.000 base XP on a defeat however ain't bad and I wasn't even mad about the loss for the aforementioned reason God this really made my day

Oh man, if only WG could sell brain to those knobends. Hell, I'd start a server donation fund to help give a brain to all those n00bs that can't afford one on their own!

Really, pitchforks aren't what they used to be. Could really use a buff to their sharpness and handle length. Maybe increase the firechance of the torches whilst they're at it for added division synergy.

Not much of a fan of many of the AL designs, but a couple are pretty nice. I wouldn't say no to Belfast: Prince of Wales (KGV-class): Or the mighty Hood:

Mogami needs rethinking. Her 155mm configuration is being powercreeped like mad by other CLs and her 203mm version is virtually identical to the Myoukou at tier VII and the Ibuki at tier IX.

Not that I care much for AL, but I'd have a fun time smartassing everyone who complains "blahblah japanese [edited] blahblah" .... "no good sir, you're wrong, it's chinese, not japanese!".

New Tashkent doesn't look that bad and is a very valuable learning experience on how to play a gunboat DD without smoke (use heal instead) before you get to the Khabarovsk. As for how to play her, like a CL. You're no DD. You don't have amazong concealment, you don't have smoke. What you have however are good, fast firing low caliber guns and a fast ship. You support your team's DDs as they go for caps. You use your speed and manouverability to evade enemy return fire and pepper them at your preferred range with HE (or AP if they show broadside). When things get too hot, you disengage and use your heal to recuperate some HP, then rinse and repeat the process.

My first guess would be because you wiped your account? Kinda implies that you, you know ... wipe everything on your account. Unless of course there's an error in translation.

I always start the session easy with a low-tier game just to warm up, so this was my first game of the day: Whoopsie, did I just accidentally a sealclub? Just Giulio Cesare things, you probably know the drill and the game wasn't really that noteworthy outside the Kraken. Did get two compliments though Then another HIV game: Yamato en flambé o-hon-hon-hon!!! God I adore my Henry Quatre. That ship keeps singing for me. The HE (with IFHE captain) is nasty as hell, the AP has amazing penetration, the torps are nothing special but still nice to have and the ship's armour is absolutely trollish. I love it! And because I'm still working on the stage 4 cruiser insignia: Row, row row my boat, gently up your base. AP is loaded, torps are primed, Britannia rules the waves! Pew pew old chaps.

Just annoyed @philjd in his Zao and his clanmate @JP_steel on his Grozovoi with my Moskva. That A cap was a real b**** to get, eh? Game would've been a lot more dynamic if my team's triple Richelieu division hadn't set up camp behind that island though. I hate just sitting in one spot of the map the entire time just to cycle radars, 'tis boring.

I used to slot hydro on my german cruisers, but I switched back to DFAA. And surprisingly I actually get a lot of CV games, particularily in the tier IX-X bracket. My best guess would be that a lot of people are playing their hightier CVs to get the insignia.

I didn't want to butt in on this thread because quite frankly I don't think there's anything to be said on this topic that hadn't been said already in the myriad of discussions beforehand, but your comment needs to be adressed: First of all, it's your prerogative to reserve judgement without the complete picture. You're free to ask him for the replay/chatlog and decide not to trust his word if he doesn't deliver. That would be fair game. However, you decided that him not providing the replay is an admission of guilt. And then, lacking ANY evidence for it (since you don't have the chatlog), you decided that somehow you know that he initiated the whole chat infraction on his own and then judge him for it. That's plain inappropriate and has no factual basis. It's just your belligerent imagination and something I'd consider to be toxic behaviour, so if you want to ride that high horse of morality, I'd recommend you take a couple steps back and reflect before you venture on down that road.
