Oh boy ... where do I even start ...

I voted for Baltimore (based on the thread title alone) as it is one of the strongest radar cruiser at T8. BUT You said for DD hunting. I would pick Cleveland solely because of higher rate of fire. I believe Cleveland does the best job of killing DDs of all radar cruisers at T8. Chappa is nice, but its played at range .... not ideal for DD hunting (except late game). EDIT: There is also Belfast on the list (I will never get used to two Belfasts, so I'm gonna call it 43). It has the most tools for sure, but unlike OG Belfast, I dont have it, so I wont give any suggestions.

I had several. DD rushing me, while only plane detected icon visible ( not ship detected). Unfortunately I did not create the thread and the screens are long deleted, but will make one if I encounter it again.

Since when is that? When I used to play T5 I often got T7 games. AFAIK T4 was "protected" ... has that changed?

I have been playing around with several spotted icon mods. Seems like none is actually made for hoth cvs and surface ships (ever since the rework). Am I right abouth that? I would love to have "its a trap" icon also for the cvs...

Actually I noticed that myself. I rarely play CVs but there certainly is a bug in the spotting icon (probably because two separated icons. One for when your plane squad is spotted and one for when your ship is spotted). The ship spotted icon sometimes doesn't show up, so I have to agree with the OP. Its a bug.

Are you guys having fun? :) As for the OP.. he is kinda right, MM is weird sometimes... but WG said they fixed it. There used to be loads of threads about MM uptiering, but ppl mostly gave up.... so it does suggests the problem was fixd.

They have been using this tactics with silver ships since forever. They see "A window of opportunity" and they take it ;)

This happened today twice. The UI is not locking on targets, not giving me information such as name / hp ETC. Also very difficult to spot ships ... Its not the mods .. I was playing OK until today ... had 3 games normal, then this ... after that another 2 games normal, then this again.

Adding to this the bug, where torps wont fire even if they are loaded (mostly in the critical situations) this mode has much to be desired.

Its a 1.4 joke :)

Not only that. Calculate all the credits, fxp, dbls, elite xp one uses in numerous reset process + time and nerves. That is the actual price of NTC ships.

Both nerfs to Thunderer and Stalingrad are mild and WELL justified.

@NikolayKuznetsov Just pretend its a Kamikaze ... or Shima for that matter :) TRB or smoke .. it comes down to you. It sure isn't a gunboat, but its the best T8 silver torpboat. Play trough it .. FXP even ... but Yugumo is no different :) I like the line ... I love playing around my detection .... its a line where I mostly spend watching minimap.

I am interested in its value, to help me grind Minesotta and Lepanto in the future. Possibly Drake ... since those are my only 3 (crappier) lines left to grind. Once done, I'm gonna sell the ships, forget about camos and move captains to T10 (as is my play style in this game).
