Indeed. BUT, if an enemy CV targets me, I want to QUICKLY melt their planes. Usually a drop comes in stacked and straight at me, so the time in my AA with AFT is not increased that much. Yes, this captain will stay in the ship forever. I mostly have dedicated captains, only sharing them with premiums, because I usually keep the ship (I have transferred Sharnhorst captain to Bismarck, so I can use secondary build on both ships for instance). Plus I ALWAYS micro manage CTRL! This. I was hoping that CV population would increase with the 0.6.3 where WG "reworked" CV. Also I hope that KAGA will bring some highter CV population in the game. Plus I have to agree that melting CV planes gives me even more satisfaction than hitting citadels I have the same feeling. I went with MAA + AA mod, because I think I can melt planes faster and that feels more important if the CV targets me. Will add AFT / BFT when I get next 4(7) skill points ... hoping before xmass Thank you all for your time and effort. I wish you all good luck in your battles! -

Thanx all ... mixed opinions mostly as I feared hehe ... based on personal experience .. i understand But .. still unsure at this point .... another 4 points will take some serious time to grind, so I dont want to make a wrong decision at this point (thats why I made the thread after all) -

Another two I have since last patch: 1. Sometimes the mechanic stops tracking target even if it is selected. Specially if close range ... but even if further away. Deselecting and reselecting helps but it is frustrating. 2. When putting my guns on one side and then pressing andholding left mouse key to look around ... after I release it, the view resets on the opposite side as the buns are bearing. Annoying as hell. -

The problem is that player / ship assignments happen during the "pre-load", meaning once the battle loads, it gets bound to the battle. That is why you have to wait for your ship until the battle ends. Your proposal requires a complete rework of the battle structure and is highly unlikely to happen in the "near" future. -

First of all ... WG needs to consider two possibilities. 1. The player lost connection (for any reason). This players should not get punished, as they did not do it on purpose. Either game clients froze, or they lost connection due to some other factor. 2. Players who exit the battle on purpose. This players have not lost connection and have abandoned the game for some purpose (usually missions that depend on winning). This players should get severely punished by any means WG sees fit. -

This is clearly an indication that SUBS have no place in this game. And yes ... checking the integrity (and fixing it) in the client before you launch the game usually fixes the problem.

The prices of premium ships are too damn high. Since there are TONS of ships, that will never get their place in the lines, WG could implement a premium once per 2 months for a reasonable price (10-20 euros). -

That is a good proposal ... unfortunately they took the "lazy" way of doing it, by just extending it to one fixed parameter.

If you listen to 25:40 he explicitly states that Blyska and Akizuki will receive some "preliminary" buffs in 0.6.3, since they both heavily depend on stealth firing. About the part that you are mentioning ... he talks about that later on, but he does not say what ships are in that basket. Lets me make myself clear ... I am OK about stealth fireing gone .. but Blyska and Akizuki were both dependent on that. Without it ... they lost significant edge. And since Blyska was sold as a "stealth fireing god" (I am almost sure WG advertised its capability to shoot from concealment, when I was buying it) it should receive some compensation (at least slightly higher ROF).

No its not "fine". Its "fine" only when you are the top tier. A +/-1 MM would be fair.

the differences are very small. 106 ping is playable, sometime it can even help you

On my gtx980ti i have around 60 fps (monitor limit). and around 30ms ping on fiber. I consider this strong compared on my laptop values
