Thanks Ive seen that, but actually still to complex for average user. If someone should do a simple (SHIP NAME: BENEFITS FROM IFHE (YES/NO)) would be a blast. I hope that some guys at shipcomrade implement this in their calculator. For instance (when this site was still outdated) ive equiped IFHE on my St. Luis, cause everyone said that 152mm gun benefits from it. Now everyone is saying its not. So .. I have to spend another 200 gold to redistribute ... sorry but i feel violated.

The 4 point skill should be explained more efficiently. Currently there are some theories around, but an average player should not do the math himself and know all ship statistics for x sake I am thankful to the contributors trying to test the skill for us. I would test it too IF WG FINALLY ALLOWED SKILL REDISTRIBUTION FOR SILVER. Since they do not, I have to rely on the "good will" of the contributors. I would really like to see a SIMPLE CHART (SHIP NAME: IFHE YES / NO). Can someone provide a link if it exists?

Ah... I suck at BBs. Im too aggressive and usually end up dying first. If I complain, why has the team turned away when reaching the cap while I didnt, they usually say I dont know how to play and that im a yolo noob. So yea, guess I just suck balls when playing BBs. But to get back on the topic. BBs and DDs are over populating the servers. The problem is that there is not enough cruisers and almost no carriers at all to balance stuff out. -

I think the WoWS staff spends too much time analyzing the statistics and not enough time playing their own game.

Why do we then still see smoke from smoke stacks once you loose sight of the ship. If the ship isn't spotted, you woudnt would you?

Plus when you loose sight of the ship, its smoke from the smoke stacks is still visible for some time. So blaming this on the "working as intended" game mechanics is somewhat not a valid point.

@Aotearas I know what you are trying to say, but saying it like that just sounds funny. But let me remind you, that this did not happen until the recent patch. You used to hear the planes even in a smoke, and that should still exist. Just removing the sound and not even mentioning in a patch note smells like a bug and not "working as intended". So I dont agree with you there because even if it is a "working as intended" mechanics its just plain stupid

1. Description Planes over you mute if you sit in a smoke and no friendly has vision on them. Not realistic, since smoke does not suppress sound. 2. Reproduction stepsLay smoke when planes are over you. If no friendlies have vision on the planes, the planes mute (go complete silent). 3. Result When this happens, you do not know if the planes are still over you or not. 4. Expected resultSince the smoke is not vacuum one would expect that you could still hear the planes when in smoke. Please fix the problem.

1. Description Repeating start battle sound on some maps (noticed on Trap) 2. Reproduction stepsRandom battle - Trap map. 3. Result The start battle sound is repeated 100x in a game (or even more). Sometimes it playes 100x per minute (twice per second !!). During the time you cant hear anything else, not to mention it is extremely annoying and bad for my hearing. 4. Expected result Please fix the problem.

Of corse. Let me describe to you what a typical BB player feels like. He wants to sail in a protected huge HP ship. He doesnt want to receive any DMG really, and If he does he wants to use heal fast. Since he gets on fire a lot, he demands a fire nerf. The torpedoes are a distraction and a pain so he gets hydro and fighter plane and a torp detection buff. If he cant shoot at dds, he wants stealth firing removed and AP dmg increased, because switching ammo type takes time. If a pesky DD should charge him, WG gave him massive secondaries. CVs should not bother him thats why WG provided them with good AA. So basically ... he wants to slowly sail around the map, not being bothered by anything and just snipe the citadels and delete ships. Actually he would like to play against bots mostly ... but that does not give him satisfaction and a smirk on his face.

Well, atm I am grinding a BB line and I have also noticed large DD population. I think there is a mission going for DDs. But overall the BB has like HALF of the entire WoWS player base ... so mtm generally has a legit point.

it is no coincidence that when you write "world of warships" in google you get "World of Warships - free online multiplayer game about battleships". It is clear to us all, that battleships are the most profitable class for WG and because of that they will always "spoil" the players sailing them.

So after grinding the ship I kinda like it. I started bad, but now I really do like how it plays even with its dispersion. So since the AA is its strength It feels natural to me to invest in it. I got wrecked couple of times by a CV, so I feel I need to have some revenge ;) I know that many of you will say that the only "manly" way to play it is secondary build, but I have Sharnhorst for that since It can share a captain with Bismarck. I have my first 4 points to invest into AA. Currently I have "Direction Center For Catapult Aircraft", "Expert Marksman" and "Super Intendent". So my question is. Should I get the AFT or MAA. I am not sure... AFT would increase range and benefit also secondaries ... while I heard that german ships benefit from MAA. I also use AA mod, so if someone would explain what would benefit more on its own at this state ... AFT or MAA. In the future I intend to focus on both and also add BFT and ADRENALINE RUSH.

Normal penetration damage on DDs

In my "early days" when I played USN BBs, the AP dmg to DDs just wasnt there, so I was switching to HE often. Now (like most of you) I just stick with AP that does HUGE dmg to DDs. I am almost sure that the AP pen on DDs was buffed significantly sometime in the past.
